Most importantly, she did a really through job. She knew a lot about hair removal and was really confident in her work. I can't wait to see her for my next appointment. After I was done, the receptionist helped me book my next few appointments and they sent me home with some goodies and chocolate. They are super quick, and from what I've heard, all their waxes are done similarly, so you can't go wrong with having anyone wax you here. I've personally only been to Aaliyah, but it was the fastest Brazilian I've ever had, and done in 12 minutes. Unlike my previous waxing establishment, you immediately strip down to whatever you need to expose right away in the room (Aaliyah turned around for this part to prepare for my wax), and then lay right on the table. I got my Brazilian done and then I got dressed and went out to pay. She cleaned off the table for her next client as I was getting dressed. She immediately took the next client. It was a quick & smooth process- I was amazed at how it was done so quickly & efficiently. They have so many specials (for example- I got the June Brazilian special for $45!!! That's $20 less than my previous spot). I will definitely return. It's a nicely decorated spot, but no extra frills- get what needs to get done and you're out within a good time frame.

I made an appointment over the phone while driving, and found the place fairly easily. There isn't much parking, but there are at least 5/6 spots available for the massage shop and it's neighbor, a speciality bakery. This place is a one woman show - a woman named Yvette. I ended up having 2 massages because the first one was so amazing. My first massage was a traditional Swedish massage. AMAZING! I've had about 100+ massages in my life and this was hands down the best. That is until my second massage from Yvette. My second appointment consisted of a quick leg wax and a hot stone massage. I had never had a hot stone massage before and I loved it. The best part was how attentive Yvette was telling me about her massage process and making sure I was happy throughout the process. My appointment was with Ashia, and from the moment she pushed on my back, my body felt pressure relief. It was amazing. I ended up getting their monthly membership, and I'm excited to get these monthly! I canceled my subscription in January due to not having time to come in the salon anymore. They stated I had to cancel in person, so I completed the cancelation with the front desk person. They told me I was good to go and would not be charged again. I could use my remaining one credit at another date. No further action required by me. Great. Fast forward to May 1st, I notice I have been charged $140 each month since January from MassageLuxe! I draft an email, send it to my local store, and call the center the following day. They state they will forward the request to regional manager. The regional manager calls me later that day and says they have no record of my cancellation. How convenient. Turns out they do not send receipts for cancellations. Ah ha! The regional manager says she can understand how I may think this is tedious but they need records of me cancelling, it's just business. Excuse me, well why maintain the record if you can just continue to charge me right? She stated "I signed a business agreement that states that I would cancel in writing". Why did the location tell me to cancel in person? I did that already! This is completely unfair. I then ask to speak to her manager. They do not give out their number she states, but would email on my behalf and follow up perhaps Monday. I'll update if they do so. Side note, when I had a membership the massages always started late, which caused the service to be shorter. I would wait in the waiting room sometimes 10-15 minutes after my massage start time. I never felt like it was really fair.
