I am giving them a two only because they are good at communicating updates. It has taken me a while to write this review. We first brought my daughter's car to them in October 2023. It was there 4 times total with the last time being in for a month! We brought it there cause of a water pump code it was reading. My husband was pretty positive it was an electrical issue. I had explained in detail what the code was reading and what we thought it was. They decided to replace the water pump (3even though it was brand new) and replaced hoses. Picked it up assuming it was resolved. It wasn't, code came back within 1 day. They then replaced the water pump again. It has been such a disaster. Long story short the car still is having the same water pump code. We have decided to just sell the car as is, we can't keep dumping money into it, by guesses on what's wrong. read more

There's a lot to like at J&B Eurotech. The guys handling most of the customer service/operaitons (Seth and Ben) both communicate clearly and honestly. This shop specializes in German/European-made cars, so it can be your go-to spot for Bimmers, Benz's, VW's, etc. From a pricing standpoint, they are competitive with their peers, from what I can tell - and certainly cheaper than the dealerships. Unfortunately, as I have painfully learned over the years, BMW actually stands for "Bring Money With" -and there's the rub. But on a relative basis, Eurotech is a winner in the pricing category. Eurotech has a couple of loaner cars available; they are held for customers with lengthy repair needs. If your car only requires 1-2 hours of work, you'll grab a chair in their comfy waiting area, and just start pounding coffee from the Keurig machine. Most of all, J&B wants their customers to walk away satisfied, and that will be clear throughout every step of the process. The shop was recommended to me by a friend that has serious passion for European autos, so that endorsement further solidifies Eurotech's worth in my eyes. It's a solid option. read more

I had my car serviced here recently for a Light Control Module, they told me the LCM I brought in didn't work (which is fine). So I had them order me a new one and they tried to code it to my car and now my halo and turn signals both blink and my taillights have changed from yellow to red. The shop tried to tell me I might have "crossed wires?" something I'd never heard of before. I don't know what they did wrong but they need to fix it! read more

Being new in the neighborhood, I'm on the search for a go-to mechanic for my Volkswagen GTI. I was hoping that this place would turn out good, but my experience was rather disappointing. I came in for an oil change, and as it is with most "specialty" car mechanics, I was ready to spend a premium on their services. The oil change alone was almost $120 -- the most expensive one yet, though I thought it's okay if their quality of work is good. When the work was done, they quoted me a number of different fixes on my car, one of them being replacing the air cabin filter. For some reason, they're asking for almost 100$ to replace the filter. That's unheard of. It's 5 minutes of work. Why is this so expensive? Not even the dealership asks for so much! Again, I was thinking, if their quality of work is good, I guess the price can be justified somehow. Unfortunately, their work wasn't that great either. The "low tire pressure" light of my GTI was on when I got in. They said they made sure I have the right tire pressure, but are not sure how to reset the sensor. They were saying that the sensor might be faulty or something else might be wrong. They'd have to look into, which would cost money, obviously. As soon as I got in my car, I pressed the tire pressure reset button and the warning light was gone. Makes me wonder, how does a mechanic shop that's supposedly specialized on German cars not know this simple step? Would I be confident to have them work on my car and know that it's in the best hands? Nope! On top of that, the steering wheel was greasy, so was the door panel. I get it, I took it to a car mechanic for an oil change, but this can be easily prevented. Come on... All in all, I'm disappointed and I didn't even ask for much... I will not be back read more

We brought in our daughter's 16 year old Mercedes to have the seat repaired. we dropped it off at 7:30 am on a Friday, never heard from them until 3:30 pm with a text outlining an inspection of the car that we did not request or want, but no word on the seat. My husband then called about the seat and was told that someone would "call him right back". At 4:30 we still hadn't heard anything about the seat we went and picked up the car and we're finally told that the part was not available the same day,which is totally understandable. Since they close at 5:30 they were apparently just planning on keeping the car all weekend without consulting us. We were then charged a $200 "diagnostic fee" despite the fact that it appears in that the seat was not touched. Just to add insult to injury we were then presented with a list of $4400 in repairs that they recommended. No chance we would ever return there for repairs. This all could have been avoided with a call earlier in the day letting us know when the part wpull be avaliable and we would have happily picked the car up and brought in back when the part was in. read more

My car failed to start after a battery died over the winter. The immobilizer kicked in and resetting with my scan tool did not correct the issue - I caved and had it towed to Eurotech in Medina (newest location - is this why it's not listed in Yelp??) They quickly identified the issue and emailed me a quote for service. It just so happened I received a call from them at the same time I was looking over the quote(s) and was a bit in shock/denial over what they identified as needing attention, but after I got home and was able to take a closer look at the quote - I was truly impressed. The quote included additional recommended items that I had overlooked - I am more if a DIY car guy so I declined the extras - but I wanted to point out that their tech was very thorough, provided good detail as well as pics to backup his recommendations - very impressed. Great service and correctly diagnosed a bad cv boot and a bent rim. They have good options for things such as wheel repair etc and not just spew things out of their system and hope you want to randomly spend 2k. I'll revise my review once I get my car carbon cleaned soon. read more

I've been going here for about three years.Nothing but great service. although the last time I brought my vehicle in due to a stuck rear windshield wipes because of the ice and I needed an alignment I specifically told them do not charge a 100 plus diagnostic fee for a rear wiper that is stuck or jammed. When I picked up the truck later that day I was told they would email a receipt to me late.(First time that ever happened) Later that evening on the receipt a note stated that the wiper blade was just stuck and had to be adjusted. Yet I was still charged 100 plus for a diagnositic test and seventy dollars for new wiper blades.(front blades worked fine) When I mentioned that the blades were two months old and the rest of my complaints of over pricing they got real defensive. Not sure if it was different crew but it was definitely shady. read more

I brought in my car to get diagnosed. When I returned from desk females (yes there were 3 for some reason) just asked me to pay the bill. I asked what was the results of diagnosis, a bearded man came to tell me "there are too many codes, hard to tell which one is causing your issue" to which I asked can you fix it? He smirked and told me my 2003 bmw was too old to put a lot of money into it. So I left. I do not know if he thought I can afford it because I happen to like older model BMWs. J&B Eurotech was a little out of the way for me, but I knew it was worth before I even got there because my friends who value their German-bred cars just as much as I do highly recommended it. I have a nine-year old Volkswagen, which I like to think runs like a dream, but since I don't stick my head under the hood nearly enough to consider myself a grease monkey, I don't necessarily have the best eye for my autobahn's "health". That's why I like to bring it in to people who were trained specifically on these cars, without having to shake my fist at dealership prices. It took the guys at J&B about an hour to do an oil change and an 18-point trip inspection. I didn't have a ride to go hang out elsewhere, but that proved to be just fine, as their quaint waiting room has not only a tv, but Netflix hooked up to it! I felt it was only fitting to watch some of BBC's Top Gear for the time being, which distracted me heavily from the passing time. When the oil change and inspection were finished, I was impressed by what I heard from the mechanic. He told me he couldn't find a single thing wrong with my car, that I should be good to go for my road trip, and that the only thing to keep in mind was to have the timing belt taken care of in another 5k miles or so [which he conveniently wrote on a static-cling tag inside my windshield]. I couldn't believe he didn't try to back me into any unnecessary part replacements or use wishy-washy lingo I didn't understand just so I'd rack on the Benjamins to my bill. These guys are totally fair and know what they're doing with your European car. The only thing I'd suggest is to just straight up call them , get a quote on what you need done, and make the appointment over the phone. They have an online scheduling option, but it is subpar. I had sent in my request, got an email confirmation that my request was being processed, but never heard back from them about a confirmed appointment. So don't be shy, just call them and they'll be happy to take care of you and your car! Cheers! read more

This is another chopped-down shop that claims they can service your German imports for lesser price than the dealer. They're right it's cheaper. However, they get all their parts from 2nd hand shops like Napa, J'Oreilly, Pepboys, etc. All the parts used are aftermarket. The room smells like cigar-smoke when you first entered. The owner is to your left while the so-called "host" guy is right in front of you when you first walked-in. He can auto adjust the price accordingly on his computer whether you are a local or not. I happened to overlook his computer screen while he types up my invoice and he was looking at all the prices on the Internet while making up his own adjusted price for the parts. They are the same just like the dealers: rip you off every penny that they can. Sometimes, you wonder if it's better if you fix the car yourself. Be on the lookout, they look at their reviews on the Internet and will try to erase bad reviews according to their standards. Hope you can find a reputable shop. read more
