The last time I was here, the service techs were awesome, showing me my ancient pickup while it was up on the lift. I do some of my repairs myself and they made suggestions and gave me tips for doing some needed and some 'eventually' repairs. I imagine we'll have a similar visit today when my truck is done. The prices are PHENOMENAL! They are cheaper than the grungy neighborhood garage that has always been the cheapest and I've been using for over 15 years. I am totally impressed. Katie does a wonderful job and her prices are very reasonable. I love the people who make Maxville such a wonderful place. I was told I needed new rear brakes, so I planned to replace them myself on Saturday, 12/29/25. When I went to start the job, my security socket was nowhere to be found. So much for my Saturday project. The shop was closed for the weekend, so I couldn't resolve it. I met with the owner, Dan, on Monday. He ordered a new set of security lugs in hopes that the key would work. It did not. The tech had misplaced my original key during the brake inspection. Needless to say, it was a major inconvenience--and I didn't receive so much as an apology from the owner. This was my experience as a first-time customer. He new Midas was BS-ing and I went to him. My engine was still fine! I just needed new spark plugs which he believed Midas technicians damage by pulling it out the improper way and new great quality coils which I should have don vs buying from Ebay. Showed up today and was told my appointment was at 2:30, despite having two emails to the contrary. Bottom line, you have been warned. After my vehicle was inspected and work completed I am adding additional information to my post. I feel that their service/evaluation was thorough, and their communication throughout the process was exemplary. They are going to do follow up work on my brakes and I will see how that goes. I understand that anyone can have a bad day, and I think they deserve a second chance at a first impression based on how they handled the scheduling error, and their word-of-mouth reputation.
