Myron's has serviced six different vehicles we've driven and over four of our neighbor's vehicles over two decades, and over one dozen vehicles of our friends over the last twenty years who live in the area. This talented garage has been a *life saver* for so many, including myself. All of my thanks to Myron's for the dedication to the automotive care they constantly have given to us. Myron's has never *not once* EVER let us down or ripped us off. This talented bunch has more knowledge about our car brand than the dealership.

I searched for an independent car repair person as in the past when I used Pat Doyle before he retired, the pricing was more transparent. I searched Yelp and Myron's consistently got the best reviews. I especially liked the "honest" and "fair pricing" - it was telling that they are booked out for 4-5 weeks! My rear brakes with labor were $365.00! That is amazing. They are personable and knowledgeable - called before doing the brakes to report their condition. I could have put it off a few months but with winter coming and their waiting list, I opted to get the job done - added an oil change and lube - also reasonable! So very excited to find Myron's

The guy at the counter "Mike" is a real one and deserves a raise. He's extremely efficient, personable, and no bullshit. First time I went, I went in for transmission issues. Most mechanics will say whatever they have to in order to secure some work, but they recommended I drive it until the transmission blows, and then bring it in to fix it. Second time I went, it was for suspension, and they said it would be about $150 to diagnose my issue (which was the cheapest diagnostic I could find); they found my issue quickly, and only charged me $50 or so, instead of $150. Then, after I decided the suspension issues weren't something I could fix myself, they gave me a price to get it fixed with OEM parts. That was too expensive for me, so I went to a junk yard and got the part, and they said they'd install it. Unfortunately the new part i brought was bad, so they actually frankensteined one out of the old and "new" part, and that worked, ultimately, saving me literally thousands of dollars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is my second time at Maxville…read more As a very independent gal, I love that a car repair place is owned and managed by some awesome ladies. The last time I was here, the service techs were awesome, showing me my ancient pickup while it was up on the lift. I do some of my repairs myself and they made suggestions and gave me tips for doing some needed and some 'eventually' repairs. I imagine we'll have a similar visit today when my truck is done. The prices are PHENOMENAL! They are cheaper than the grungy neighborhood garage that has always been the cheapest and I've been using for over 15 years. Granted, it is a bit of a drive since I live in Northeast Minneapolis but the drive is TOTALLY WORTH IT! Today, I tried my first combo service. Pedicure from Katie and oil change! I am totally impressed. Katie does a wonderful job and her prices are very reasonable. I love the people who make Maxville such a wonderful place. A special mention of the manager Dana who has been in the car fixing business for many years. The first time I was here, she took the time to talk to me about maintaining and repairing my trusty (and a little rusty) 1994 Toyota Pickup. Maxville is worth it even if you don't live in the area!

First of all, they charge $20 less than my regular place to run a full diagnostic. Then I find out the shop is owned by a woman. Dropped my car off, and received a ride home. Got a call when it was done and the owner came to pick me up. Really nice waiting area, they explain everything thoroughly, prices are fair and service is phenomenal. Thank you Maxville Services!
