Very friendly greeting at the front door I loved the bar…read moreI appreciate being able to see what the chefs are doing Very friendly The sake was warm, not hot I wanted it hot and the next two sake's I received were piping hot I warmed my hands on the carafe from my cold walk better than hot chocolate on a cold day My chiriashi was artistic and inventive and quite fresh. I particularly liked the warm sushi rice, which had a dusting of crushed seaweed on it. I ordered fresh wasabi root which now I'm addicted to And for dessert, I had a double serving of Uni Which was very fresh What I particularly liked about this restaurant, which will bring me back is that all the things I had, were not Americanized! No syrups, no sweet drizzles no jalapeño, No crushed pickled veggies the top of the fish I can't stand Americanized sushi places where you can't even taste the fish because of all the syrups and sauces crap on top I loved being able to taste just the fish thank you very much for that! I promise I'll be back every time I get to town to everyone there! Thank you for the great service! Thank you for the great sushi! Incidentally... The door greeter was being trained, how to make sushi when she wasn't busy atv the door... behind the bar, yes... How awesome is that that they will train from within? Not cheap. Good sushi isn't cheap. Thank you for serving Quality

However, I believe you can find what you're looking for-whatever that is-so if you want culture, diversity and to surround yourself with learning and growing experiences, you can find them. OK, off my soapbox. This center is part event venue, part museum. They have a variety of exhibits on display, some rotate seasonally. They also hold concerts, community gatherings and, well, celebrations here. There's ample parking and lots of outdoor space which hosts festivals and concerts in the summer. Inside, there's a large multi-purpose room that welcomes guests and offers a nice stage for performances. Keep it on your radar if you're looking to fill your calendar and try something new. Maybe I'll see you there.

I've been here for several work conferences, art shows, and community events, and it always delivers. The space itself is open, light-filled, and flexible. It somehow works just as well for professional presentations as it does for creative exhibits and big cultural gatherings. There's this peaceful energy about it, like the space knows how to hold people and ideas and creativity all at once without being overwhelming. I've been to Great Salt Lake art events here that were honestly stunning. Local artists, thoughtful installations, and the kind of vibe where you run into people you know and leave feeling more connected. For work events, it's comfortable and professional but not stiff, which is exactly what you want when you're networking or presenting something important. It's the kind of place that adapts to what you need it to be. A thoughtful conference venue, a celebration space, an art gallery, a gathering place. Every time I've gone, I've left feeling like I got something out of it. Whether it was ideas, inspiration, or just a really good conversation in the hallway. Definitely one of Utah's most versatile and underrated gems.
