I had a consulation and she assured me that once I got home and played around with it and used wig tape, all would be good. But it doesnt sit on my crown (top of my head) and when I pull it down so it does, the sides cover my ears!! Ridiculous! Instead of telling me the wig was too big (keeping in mind, shes placing it on my head, not me), they should have told me they would order the appropriate size. I have a very small head. No refunds, No exchanges, although you wont find that policy on their website or the receipt. Stylist forgot to mention it as did the receptionist taking my payment. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. In detail: I had my hair colored and extensions done by stylist Ashley. I have came with a picture that I liked from her portfolio and asked her to do this blonde color. I was specific about going blonde. She asked me to come separately to pick extensions, which was something I have not done before, when I show the color to the stylist, stylist who knows their job picks the extensions and knows what color they will use on the client, whereas here I was given samples of extensions and told to pick, I was very doubtful and kept saying whatever you think is best to give that end result I showed and she kept changing advising which ones and settled on few strands which she asked me to confirm if it was okay, I asked her if she thought it was okay for color I wanted then I'm okay and we confirmed visit for Saturday. During the week days before my appointment I got the message saying my extensions won't be coming in time it will come next week so we can reschedule and when I made the appt I was very clear Saturday was the only day I could do it as I had to go on the trip next week to which was agreed on before I even initiated services. She went back to see what she could do and resolved it - later during appt she told me I think my boss forgot to order them. I guess makes sense why I later received no resolution. I came in on Saturday she did not even show me what extensions that came in looked like. That was first thing I found weird. Second thing that was weird was I had natural dark brown hair. The way she put in highlights was just bunch of highlights foils but the remaining hair remained dark brown. When I went blonde in the past all stylist put 2 shades light and darker to add dimension, I had already bad feeling it may come out streaky and contrasting because how dark my natural hair is and she's not doing anything to lighten rest of it. Since this salon had all 5 star reviews and her portfolio looked great and I never had bad experience with stylist before I decided to trust because ultimately she's the stylist and knows what she's doing. The hair did come out contrasting and streaky and gave that skunk appearance which I mentioned right away, she huffed and said she will tone it, she did not explain what she was doing but said she will even out the top. When she finished I realized she made it even darker... and I mentioned to her right away that's not what I wanted, she said the extensions will lighten everything up, assured me it will be blonde as I wanted once extensions are in. Obviously did not happen. She continued saying how good it looked I left salon very sad and unsure. Next morning after my friends saw it and I saw I hated the result I wrote to her. She said extensions can't be dyed but she can try to fix the top, it didn't sound promising at all. Basically she fixed already once by making it darker I don't know what else to expect. So I declined and moved on. Now next week within about 5-6 days the extensions started falling out. Randomly, I would brush my hair with brush that I specifically have to care for extensions after reading reviews when I had them previously so I know it's not the brush, also none of my hair come out with extensions. Just extensions on its own slipping down. It was coming 1-2 every couple days, at first I though I have thick hair as I had 3 packs in, it's fine I'll lose couple no big deal, but it has not stopped coming out. I went on an overseas trip my friends literally pointed out at the trip with me which was beyond embarrassing. Almost 8 weeks and almost all of it has fallen out, 5 strands in the past week. I reached out to salon showing pictures of strands and the how thin my hair is and the only thing they offered was come back and "audit" how it was done. I am not a trial bunny. I do not trust anyone from your salon. From boss who "forgets" to order extensions and disputes costumer concerns to your staff that is not trained correctly to install extensions. I've been having extensions for the last 10 years, I've had ktips multiple times last time I had them done in September just as of last year and never ever they fell out in chunks like here. They stayed on and had to use solution to break the bond as it should be taken down. This is what's happening is not normal and the fact that salon can't even take responsibility and all they can offer audit or some redoing. Apparently from other reviews I am not only one. I brought in a few photos of what I wanted, and the stylist gave me a few suggestions and showed me what colors they had. I found the stylist and the rest of the staff very professional and friendly, which definitely made for a good experience. However, after sitting in the chair for 3.5 hours, I was a bit disappointed with the turnout, especially for the price I paid. It did have a slight red tint to it, but not as noticeable as I hoped for. I have really dark, thick (typical Asian) hair, so that may have been the reason for the darker-than-hoped-for color and the lengthy time. Over the past few weeks, I have noticed a slight change in the color, it has been a bit more noticeable which was what I wanted, so I'm overall happy with the results. Also fun fact: I overheard one of the stylists talking to a customer about how they collect the hair and give it to an organization that makes nets to remove oil spills from the ocean (or somewhere along those lines??). I felt like this is something the salon should advertise more, I'll definitely come back for a hair cut knowing this.
