I should of did a bit more research before coming here. I did find good reviews for Dr Khana so that is a plus. However, this front desk is deplorable. If you don't ask you won't know. She checks you in and then you are sitting here and have no idea what happens next. My Father is here for surgery and we were told a certain time and 40 minutes later no communication unless I say hey how much longer will we be waiting. Then it's like just sit and wait. We are pretty patient however given we are the ONLY ones in this office.....I'm disappointed. The doctor came in late. But I'm not even upset with that. I'm upset that it wasn't communicated "Dr is running late". Things happen so that wouldn't bother me, but communication is so important. So just let people sit and wait for 50 minutes and you say nothing? Is that okay??? read more

Dr. Evan saw me in his office right away when I called told them about my issue. He has a very friendly manner and explained what my problem was and the course of action he recommended. He checked in with me to see how I was doing after my procedure and scheduled a follow up visit right away. I highly recommend him and his office staff who were super courteous and friendly. read more

This is mostly a review of the front desk staff. The people there barely raised their eyes to me when I came in. I had to say something for them to look at me. OK, maybe they were busy. The woman who took my foot X-Rays was actually nice. After that I saw the doctor, which in general seemed to be a good experience. I had really old orthotics that I wanted to replace. He said that the front desk would send it to my insurance. He then sent me back to the front desk and I checked out and did my co-pay. No smiles, no conversation, just took my credit card and charged me. Since then, over 2 months ago, I have been trying to get in touch with the office to see what the result with my insurance. I never heard from them. I tried to contact the front desk at least 6 times, and it always went through to an answering service. This was in the middle of the day and not before or after hours. I NEVER heard back from them. I was so frustrated I decided to go to another doctor. I couldn't bear to deal with them. Such a waste of co-pay money, which is $65 for me!! Do NOT go here!! read more

Absolutely do not come here. Dr. Breth ignored my request for an MRI repeatedly since my first visit. He offered no help or advice other than to sit and wait and see if it heals. I did this for a month, and when it didn't approve I again requested an MRI. He said, let's give it another month and it felt slightly better and he cleared me to run. So I run for about a week and the pain returns, worse than before. He finally agrees an MRI might be warranted. The MRI showed were three things wrong with my ankle, all of which required corrective surgery. He presented me with two surgery options, did not mention any potential downsides to surgery (there were in fact many as I'd later learn). I then got a second opinion from another podiatrist and they told me that under NYS law they weren't allowed to perform that kind of surgery and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. My treatment at Breth's office was borderline criminal malpractice. If he had listened to me, I would've been fully recovered by now, but instead I have another four months of recovery ahead of me. And no doubt worsened my injury thanks to his suggestions. read more

Would also give zero stars if I could. I went in and he essentially gave me no help or advice whatsoever. Just said to rest my foot. Had to self remedy at home to figure out a brace to help my arch pain. That was all after I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. I asked for the bill on my way out and was told there wasn't any. 10 months later out of the blue I get a collection agency asking me for $128 payment. Why was I never sent the bill? Why didn't they call? Apparently they imputed my address wrong, and had 253 instead of 252. So if they sent anything in the mail, I didn't get it... The incompetence of the admins and the lack of help from the doctor make this place a must avoid. read more

My Podiatrist was out of town and dr.khana now was covering from progressive podiatry. I left a message with their staff that she should call me because I needed antibiotics I left my phone number and the name of the antibiotics the doors and the pharmacy. What happened next was that this occur in the morning on Friday. No one called in the prescription or called me back. I've come here twice for a foot injury. It was very clear that the practice was trying to "sell" me the crap shoe inserts when I already have custom orthotics made by my previous podiatrist. They insisted these premise packaged ones were better even though they were not molded to my feet. Both visits I did not feel cared for or listened to at all. Evan Breth, DPM reminds me of a used car salesman--don't trust him. I was referred to Evan Breth by my physician to check out some discomfort in my foot. In his office and upon taking off my shoe, he discovered a "New Problem" and explained I needed surgery right away. The questions that followed were: "What kind of insurance do you have?" and "Do you have a good job to pay any remaining balance" ...in case your insurance doesn't cover it all. I felt like he was more concern about my insurance and payment than solving my foot problem. I got a second opinion and the new podiatrist recommended I wear different shoes and don't need surgery at all. I don't recommend Brett or trust he had my best interest in mind. read more

The stars are mostly for the doctor. The receptionist and assistant on the other hand lower the rating. Dr. Breth was amazing; attentive, caring and really wanted to get to the issue at hand. The girls working there although friendly are not very helpful. I've spent over two weeks on the phone with these women and have gotten no where. Putting my trust in them have cost me over $200 and my sanity. Had to put my foot down and go to them today. Love the office and efficiency but the absent minding is not fair. read more

I've never written a review on yelp before but feel compelled to do so after our terrible experience here. I've taken my son for several visits to see Dr. Breth for a planters wart. Each time the front office staff are watching loud, violent or otherwise inappropriate television. Today we walked in to a bloody and violent war movie in which a man was having his throat slowly and brutally cut, choking on his own blood. My son was traumatized, closing his eyes and covering his ears. I asked the woman at the front desk to please change the channel but she ignored me, as she was on the phone. So I reached behind the desk and switched off the TV myself. At which point I was given a chastising lecture rather than an apology. If you have kids don't take them here, it's not worth the nightmares. read more

This entire practice put me in more distress than I already was with a fracture. My foot was fractured so my urgent care center connected me to Dr. Breth. His bedside manner was average at best. He told me to get an MRI. There was no communication on the fact that I should book another appointment with him so he can discuss my results. I have never been through an MRI and I do not frequently visit doctors so when the MRI facility told me the doctor will call me to tell my results, I waited. When I waited a whole day and never got a call, I called Dr. Breth's office. I was told that they will not give me my results over the phone and that I need to book an appointment. If this wasn't frustrating enough, the office told me Dr. Breth was on vacation and wouldn't be back for days. This meant that I'd go for more than a week without a word on my condition and further course of treatment. I found out that they had a second doctor available at the practice so I decided that I would have her look at my reports. They told me the next available appointment was still days away and I was on the verge of tears. At that point, the woman said she could squeeze me in earlier. And I was aghast at the fact that they need their patients to be crying before recognizing that the patient needs attention in a timely fashion. Not only that, I would later find out in the billing that they charged me for things that they never did for me and I had to contest these charges over multiple phone calls. Next, I went to Dr. Neha Khanna for my MRI results. She had an odd bedside manner. She told me "you've really done a number on yourself" and then instead of telling me what had happened, she kept reading the medical terms in my MRI report out loud to me like I was supposed to understand what that meant. It just made me increasingly anxious and I blanked out. When she finally tells me what had happened, she tells me I absolutely need to get surgery because she wants to make sure my foot is protected from future trauma. As I said, I had blanked out earlier so I had no questions. I was also stunned that I would need surgery for this. She told me someone from the office will call me to schedule a surgery later in the week. I went home and after I recovered from the shock, I called Dr. Khanna with some questions to understand exactly why I needed surgery and what would happen if I didn't get a surgery. She did not give me any real answers and just repeated that I really needed to prevent an ankle sprain from any trauma on my foot in the future. Well, unless she is putting some unbreakable material in my foot, never ever getting an ankle sprain is not a guarantee. In all this time, nobody from the office called me to schedule anything. So I consulted some friends who are doctors and they recommended I seek second opinion. I went to two other doctors who both said that I did not need a surgery by any stretch of the imagination because I did not have kind of fractures that would need surgery. And it was infuriating to realize that Dr. Khanna would put a patient under undue distress and recommend surgeries when it was not needed. She also charged me an insane amount of money to rewrap my foot with cotton. I had an entirely bad experience with this practice. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I had an ongoing pain issue here that has gone on for months. Office staff & doctor are nice but Dr Breth made orthotics for me that hurt my feet more than before I came to see him. I wore them for several months and thought that my feet were so bad pain-wise that I might need surgery. I decided to switch back to my old orthotics from another podiatrist & my plantar fasciitis was more bearable. When I spoke to Dr Breth about this he acted like I was crazy & it couldn't possibly be the orthotics. I asked for a refund or a new set of orthotics & still have yet to receive either though I have received more bills. I finally stopped trying paid the bills & went back to my old podiatrist who helped me immediately. The pain is still not entirely gone but is better & more manageable. read more

Almost 2 years after foot surgery by Dr. Breth that still hurt occasionally, I got a second opinion, alas, much too late. It appears that Dr. Breth did not do the proper surgery, using only a "half screw" instead of a "whole screw" to replace disintegrated cartilage in my big toe .I had severe pain in that spot for six months after the surgery, when I had been told that it probably would be about two. I could not wear the giant boot you get after surgery because It made my chronic back pain much worse, of which Dr. Breth was aware. The back pain was exacerbated after the foot surgery which I have been told is not unusual, although I cannot say for sure that the surgery was responsible. He took many, many x-rays of my foot and said every one indicated my foot was healing perfectly. The first xray I saw at my second opinion showed that the screw was "short." It took two months to get a copy of my x-rays from Dr. Breth's office, which I thought was a little odd. Now I have occasional pain, redness and swelling in the surgical site, but I am using other treatment and am certainly not anticipating another surgery at this time, evev with my new doctor. read more

Breth I told him I'm tired of getting needles in the foot I need to have the surgery now after about having my foot in a foot boot for 3 months of course I had to go to every two weeks just to check up my health insurance bill I noticed that my pinky toe was shortened he had no comment about this do not go to this doctor find yourself a better doctor oh and to top it all off one of the incisions had such an affection that it took the other foot doctor to open it up and let the pus pour out of it read more

I think he is a good doctor but the waits are ridiculous. My son saw him for an ingrown toenail. We had a total of 3 visits because the second one was a minor surgery to remove the ingrown toenail. The first two visits had a wait of over an hour. The third visit, just to check and make sure the toe was ok after the surgery, was a wait of over 2 hours. read more
