I recently renewed my drivers license and was able to have her fill out a vision form which I submitted in lieu of taking the vision test there, which shortened my appointment time at the DMV. He was nervous to come in as he has never had his eyes checked and she spoke to him like her was stupid and kept sighing like he was an idiot. Also, don't make appointments for 8am then not have the door unlocked for 8am appointments that's asinine. If she were my front desk and a clients first impression I would be incredibly embarrassed.

The following are In her words....  I picked out 3 pairs of frames for prescription glasses.  Total cost was $1600. One pair of frames was about $1000. One employee that checks your eye pressure,  a Filipino man talked me into trying transition glasses that turn dark when out in the sun. I picked up my glasses & they were just regular sun glasses. If I wanted another pair of sun glasses,  I would have ordered another set of lens that were Rose tint. The only sun glasses I wear, & the only type I have done at 20/20. I had called, they said they would take care of this mistake.    Today,  April 29, 2025. I brought my friend in for her appt., & I was talking to the rude Filipino employee at this office, as I told him about the mistake I called about. He asked me what I thought transition glasses meant.  As I was saying it, he started laughing at me saying that these are not transition glasses. I said right, they're suppose to be. Treating me like I was a fool in front of an office full of patients. He continued to laugh, would not let me get a word in. The doctor came out,  & she  said maybe they're progressives.  She could have actually  stopped,, talked find out what was going on.  why her employee was treating me like garbage. I was embarrassed badly, treated like a fool. I will not go back as a patient. I spent $1000 for useless prescription glasses. They will only replace lens with rose tint. The guy said no to putting in TRANSITION lens. RE: My wife is no fool. Former fire fighter with a Captain title, former Nurse, (not a CNA), at Renown, retired, She knows the difference between tint, rose  tint, and transition lens. She would never get regular tint over rose tint unless it was transition.  All her sun glasses are and always have been rose tint.. She was talked into transition glasses knowing that when in sunlight, they would turn into regular tint since transition lens does not come in rose tint. That employee lied. Straight up liars to cover themselves. When my wife picked up her glasses, she got them and left. Did not have time to sit there and wait to see if they fit right. My wife's friend was standing there the whole time watching this guy laugh at her  trying to read her own paperwork without glasses, struggling to see when this all first started. Do not LIE !!! My wife was crying off and on for hours when I came home early for the appts. we both had in South Reno. It took a lot to get herself together just to go into the doctors. You don't cry for several hours if nothing like this happened at all. She does not know his name, she thought he might be Filipino.  The only way to describe the person not knowing his name. Don't make it sound racist. That's pathetic too.  I highly advise not you avoid this doctor's office RE: My wife just seen your comment and photo. It was YOU that did that and said all that garbage. When I had my appointment I had my two kids and my niece with me and they were more than accommodating to me having them there with me, they even asked if my son wanted to color. After my exam, I found out I needed glasses and I also found out that I am really picky... I probably tried on every pair of glasses they had before deciding on a pair. The staff was beyond kind and patient with not only myself but my kids as well. I have gone back several times since my initial appointment to update my prescription, adjust my frames, get fitted for contracts, etc and every time it has been a great experience.

Went there to have my annual check up and it went just fine. It's one of the best locations for me, i love the trees and the overlooking sight. Their office building looks nice and clean. Their optometrist is always nice as well. The lady took my optical pics and she seemed alright. Overall, it was a good experience. They will take your optical pics no matter what. That is a new policy they have. They will charge you $45 if you have no insurance or if insurance does not allow it. Thank God my insurance took care of that so i did not have to pay anything. They did not dilate my eyes and i'm thankful for that as i hate driving coz it can get blurry afterwards. One thing i like is you may or may not purchase glasses there. I personally don't have to wear glasses as I don't need it. But i know some eye offices will "force" you to get glasses sold in their establishment. My family goes there for check ups but gets glasses somewhere else cheaper. For me, it's a great deal. Also, i kind of had a hard time getting hold of them to call for appointment. They did not answer my call at first, led me to a recording system and they did not return my call. So i tried a couple days after and someone answered it and luckily i was able to get an appointment. My son tried calling them as well for an appointment after a few hours and he was led to an answering machine. The place could get very busy and they only have 2 people on front desk to take care of many things, so just a heads up on that.
