MC Anthony + DJ / Photo Booth / Lighting = PURE MAGIC…read more When we booked this team for an over the top 8th grade dance party, I said (only half-joking): "I'm looking for ultimate bar-mitzvah-level energy -- the kind that gets every kid dancing, laughing, and begging for just one more song." They didn't just meet that vision -- they blew past it. From the moment the music started, the entire space was transformed. The lighting alone turned a basic banquet room into a full-on club -- festive, electric, and instantly exciting. The photo booth added nonstop silliness and memories, and the kids LOVED it. But the real star of the night was MC Anthony. He is not just an MC -- he's a hype man, a game-show host, a magician, and a kid-whisperer all rolled into one. He had games, contests, call-and-response moments, and the kind of inclusive energy that makes every kid feel comfortable jumping in. Everyone was on the dance floor. Laughing. Moving. Taking risks. Living their best middle-school lives. He somehow managed to: * break the ice instantly * keep energy high for the entire event * make shy kids feel confident * and create a vibe where no one wanted to leave the dance floor If you're looking for a DJ team that doesn't just play music, but creates joy, connection, and unforgettable moments, stop searching. MC Anthony and this team are all that -- and then some. I would book them again in a heartbeat.

No concessions were available on site, but they did offer guests free bottled water in the lobby. Photography and video recording was allowed for this particular show. Note, you can't see the full stage from the side balcony section unless you lean forward drastically as the seats are too far from the railing and unmovable. There are also poles in front of some of the side balcony seats with no advanced notice about the obstructed view when purchasing tickets... there's a reason these are the cheapest seats in the house. Tiffany and Vanessa and co. deserve real praise for have been very responsive to our and our daughter's needs, for instance in working to boost enrollment in a class time that originally didn't have enough students to be offered. Tiffany even took time to respond personally to the few hiccups we had early on, which I was very impressed with considering how much she's got going on as a dancer and multiple business owner. The staff at the Livermore location are friendly and very hard-working, and we love that Tiffany's does go above and beyond in giving their dancers opportunities to perform on stage. They do a great job keeping the dance events organized and running smooth and on time, which is really commendable given there are scores of excited and nervous kids and parents running around like mad! Most importantly, Tiffany's staff have been making sure that there are as few distractions as possible taking away from what we really want, which is for our daughter to have positive, character-building interactions with the gifted dance instructors at Tiffany's. These are what keep her (and her parents) excited to come back to class here every week.

My daughter performed with the company from 2018-2021 at the Fremont and Livermore studios. The issues and problems that we ran into are still spilling over to my daughter's dancing. The teacher turnover is RIDICULOUS. Teachers come and go so often there, and it throws the dancers off. During the 2020-2021 competition season, in one month, we went through 3, yes THREE teachers. There is absolutely no consistency. There is absolutely no technique taught there. TDA spits our choreography and does not teach terminology, proper turnout, etc, etc, ETC!!!!! It's all recycled routines year, after year, after year. There is no originality whatsoever. My daughter went to dance competitions and conventions and she was lost when it came to basic terminology, and basic steps. We spent thousands of dollars with them, and looking back; what a waste! Miss Tiffany does not care at all. We mostly danced at Fremont, and I never, ever once saw her visit the studio. We danced at one competition and when Fremont studio was up, she walked out. Yes, she walked out and didn't watch our girls dance. We danced with her for years, and she wouldn't be able to pick my kid out of a lineup. Ms. Robbie who is the TDA Company director is great. I actually really, really like her and think she is fabulous. She was always really kind, fair, and accommodating for me and my daughter. Looking back, on our experiences there, we are blessed that we met such amazing girls. My daughter calls most of them her bff's and I'm so grateful for that. Even better, they still dance together at another studio. If you are looking for a recreational dance only place for your kids to have fun, go for it. If you are looking for a studio that will teach your kid PROPERLY, I suggest going somewhere else.

First off, I'm exhausted from taking my five year old daughter to her tech week (performance week). It's a week long nigh commitment and parents can choose to help and they work hard if they opt in! And we have been at the theater until almost 10 or 11 PM every night this week. Welcome to theater! I hope this doesn't scare you. This is not a cute little school production. We are working on "Into the Woods," which is in itself a tough play. The theme, the music, the requirements for actors interactions, space and so on. There's a lot going on. To add fuel to this fire, this particular show has some added elements. This is a ballpark figure, but there are at least 100 actors, ages five to adults. How cool is that? And these aren't small parts - there is additions dancing and actors of all levels. I love that it's inclusive and the director brought everyone in and showed them how to reach their potential. In the last week, I've watched dress rehearsals of a pro caliber go on (they never seem to end)...this is a lot of work. Everything is top notch quality and the organization, even though at times it resembles a noodle sandwich to the lay audience, all comes together like it's a military march. Rest assured, everyone, even my five year old is having a blast. Tired, but still having fun. Of course you always have a mix of moms and dads who help push things through (walking kids to and from the stage for scenes, helping with the sets, doing hair and makeup). Oh, there's a full professional hired staff doing tech, hair and makeup, set and so on. And Kristi, the Director and owner at large is truly amazing. I mean, she puts this all together and makes it work...it's remarkable. This is a company that operates like a family. I listen to the actors and their interactions. It's another home for a group who loves to be part of a production from beginning to end. So much is to be learned here. This is more of a journey than a (mundane) process. Which means it's hard work because if it's going to be good, it's not always a breeze. Can't wait to do more shows.

"The Nutcracker" is a memorable story that children 2-92 years can enjoy year after year. The Livermore production is made up of a group of talented performers from our community who take their efforts very seriously. You can tell from the production value that they have spent many hours honing their craft and it shows in every performance. This is not a casual display but a full two hours of ballet, humorous asides, dazzling costumes and of course - the wonderful music. I'm probably posting this too late for you to enjoy this year's production ... but if the economic downturn continues another year ... consider "The Nutcracker" for a grand family outing in 2010.

Let's start with the good!…read more I signed my two daughters up for a once a week dance class last year and we ended up not being able to attend due to an unforeseen family situation. They reached out to me when we didn't show up for several classes and actually refunded me the tuition as a credit to be used in the future, which they did not have to do. That shows a great business who puts people above profits. My concern is about the Summer Dance Camp. It's three hours long and it appears that maybe 30-60 minutes of it just has kids watching something on a TV screen. As a parent, I'm quaking so hard to keep my kids OFF of screens and active this summer, which IA why I paid a pretty penny to have two kids take this dance camp. The fact that I witnessed them sitting on the floor watching the TV screen made me frustrated. It's a 3 hour camp -- play games. Teach them another routine. Practice the routine more. Screens have no place in a dance camp in my opinion. But maybe that's just my own opinion as a mom and a teacher.

Children this age just don't have the attention span for serious dance yet, and this program understands that.
