This is a great venue for a concert. It is small and intimate with every seat offering a great view.

Went on a Saturday night to listen to jazz ensemble. First time there and was pleasantly surprised at how it was nicely renovated to allow performances in its theater. The venue is small. I sat last row in the balcony and it was a very good seat. Only 2 rows in the balcony and the row ahead of me was pretty steep so no heads in the way. The acoustics were surprisingly pretty good and the music was not too loud. The seats were comfortable good leg room enough to sit for a 2 hour performance with a small intermission in between. All in all, a very nice evening! I'm checking future performances so I can go back!

An evening with Jared Freiburg. Amazing!.

Love a night out at the Firehouse theater. Excellent entertainment. Not a bad seat I. The theater. I took a group of friends to see Jerod Freiburg just before Christmas. It was a fabulous show.

Wonderful local art center, built from an old fire station. A variety of live performances, as well as art exhibits in the attached Harrington Art gallery. The gallery is free to visit--but please drop a few bucks In the donation box! Recently saw an exhibit of Holocaust paintings by local artist Larry Lagin. Stark, impactful images. Particularly meaningful, as we recently lost a long-time family friend, who had survived WWII by hiding from the Nazis, first in Germany, then Belgium. Also a handful of interesting sculptures in the gardens surrounding the main building.

Fantastic community theater. Excellent stage, lighting, and sound. Tonight I saw Joseph and the amazing Technicolor dreamcoat in both American Sign language and spoken english. I had a front row seat, which was a little bit closer than I was comfortable with. The staff were amazing.

$30 to hear the Eagles? Well okay, it was an Eagles tribute, not really the Eagles but it was still an outstanding value. Tonight we heard the tribute to a nearly packed out crowd. We have attended many concerts here, and it has always been a great value, and usually a lot of fun as well. Parking is easy, prices are reasonable, and the talent is good.

I've never been here before, but always wanted to check this out. This is a really small theater, but for what I was seeing, I thought it was the perfect venue. I was here to see an acoustic show by Greg Kihn and Robert Berry. The show was great and would do it over again, but now onto the venue. I appreciated that Firehouse sends out an email on parking. Luckily I scored a spot in front down the street. There is parking in the back of the theater in case you were wondering. The theater is very small. There is a box office inside as you enter, and the concession stand is between the theater entrance on the lower level. They do have restrooms, including one family/gender neutral restroom. Art work is displayed throughout as well. The theater is small, but very intimate. There is seating upstairs as well as on the floor. From what I observed, there's adequate spacing in between the rows. There's also seating along the wall adjacent to the stage. I definitely would go here again.

Even peanut gallery seats are good here

A few helpful things to know: * $2 cover charge per person * Bring your ID no matter how old you are * Doors open at 6pm with food service and open dancing/practice time The food menu is WAY bigger than what's shown online, which was a pleasant surprise. They also have $2 beef or chicken tacos until 9pm, and overall the food-to-price value is solid. At 7pm, they start the dance lessons: * Line dancing lesson (~40 minutes) * Followed by either partner two-step or swing dancing (alternates every other week) The crowd was all ages (21+ obviously -- and let's just say I'm on the older side), all skill levels, and very beginner-friendly. I'm pretty uncoordinated, and honestly this was some of the best line dancing instruction I've had. After 9pm, lessons end/open dancez A couple practical tips: * There's really nowhere to stash your stuff, so keep it simple -- pockets or a fanny pack work great * Wear closed-toe shoes if possible unless you want your toes stepped on * No one is judging style here, which actually made it more comfortable and fun Overall: low pressure, affordable, welcoming, and a genuinely good time.

They're friendly, but don't pay much attention to you. They don't have a draft beer menu so you have to squint at the board behind the bar. Lots of TVs showing sports, which is great. It seems the good reviews are for the country music and dance side of the place. I've only been to watch sports and eat in the bar area.

The staff is friendly and allows you to sample the beer if you're indecisive about what to try or just don't know where to start. Dog friendly too! Their food selection and quality is also amazing and goes FAR beyond typical bar food. I noticed that they had lots of different options for food, which I liked. We saw they had a charcuterie board on the menu and had to order. It came with 3 different cheeses, walnuts, and honey. I wish it had came with more crackers and jam but it was a great pairing with our drinks while chatting. 9/10 Next we snacked on the Bavarian-style soft pretzel, which was huge. It came with their homemade sweet red ale mustard, which was tangy, but also sweet the perfect pairing. We also got the Southwest Veggie Queso and chips, which tasted like a mix between bean dip and nacho cheese-- a10/10, I was surprised by how good it was. We also tried the summer salad, which had mainly arugula, corn, cheese, and avocado. It was like street corn but in salad form with a light dressing --9/10. Lastly, we got the Margherita flatbread, this was small but amazing. I didn't get to take a picture because it was so good it gone within minutes Super cheesy too, though a bit pricey for its size.

Given our table map, the room was a bit cozy for forty but no problem for the waitstaff. The room itself is private, lots of windows, big buffet table and wine area, so it was all good. Waitstaff and venue were great, but what made the event special was the very high quality of the food: gourmet shrimp appetizer, flatbread, salad, chicken kabob, filet mignon kabob (no exaggeration), and Oasis salmon, plus rice, asparagus, mashed potatoes, chocolate mousse cake for dessert, coffee, tea, sodas. AND... they sent our family home with the leftover food, quite a lot that we've polished off since. Charge was $69 per person, three kids counted as one person for a special pizza, 20% service, tax, poured wines from a reasonably priced wine list. Total bill came to $4,000. So... Five stars. And whatever we asked for, Efren and Sadaf said, "No problem," and it wasn't. THANKS to Oasis!

I missed the rock n' roll memo, but amazingly talented singers including the KJ himself. The sound system can be pretty loud especially the bass, so ended up keeping my ear plugs in. My only major reservation is how the karaoke queue is managed. Couldn't help but notice the bartenders and some patrons who generously tipped got to sing multiple times in a row. One of the patrons tipped $20 and sang three songs in a row. In comparison, I got one song in in the span of three hours. I kind of expected the place to start clearing out after midnight but ppl stuck around and seemed to be having a good time. If you're not into rock n' roll/metal karaoke, they also have pool, shuffleboard, and darts. I do like the KJ and the patrons here, though in the future, I'll just set the expectation that I'll get one song in and set a curfew for myself.
