He drove to my residence. When he finally "fixed" my device, he did it in his car, not exactly reassuring, and unsurprisingly, it still didn't charge afterward. I wasn't able to verify if it was fixed as the transaction happened outside in his vehicle, but I trusted that if I was being charged it meant it was fixed. I texted him informing him it still wasn't holding charge and he offered to take the device for a few days, but by then I no longer felt comfortable handing it over, as if all felt shady. The whole process felt unprofessional from start to finish. And to top it off, I was charged $103 for a repair that clearly wasn't completed.
