Like some other users, I happened upon Evans & Associates completely by accident. I was having issues with my opener, so I called my home warranty company, Old Republic. Within an hour, I had a voicemail on my phone from Franklin, the owner. I called him back much later and figured I would have my opener fixed by the end of the week, at best. The next morning, Franklin called back and told me he could get me in between 12 noon and 4 p.m, we later agreed on 10:45. He showed up on time, quickly assessed the problem, and within minutes he was on the phone with Old Republic arranging for a replacement. He had several Chamberlain openers in his truck, and was well prepared, having all necessary tools and parts needed for the job. The replacement took about and hour. Throughout the whole process, Franklin answered any questions I had, with ease. Once completed, he walked me through paring my car, and showed me the intricacies of my new opener. I don't think "happy with..." would do justice in describing my experience with Evans & Associates. I am beyond pleased that Old Republic chose Evans & Associates to provide my garage service. Make sure to ask for a pile of business cards, you'll be needing them. I'd recommend Evans & Associates to ANYBODY experiencing garage difficulties, and I don't plan on using anybody else for future problems, should they arise. Garage door and or opener was making some grinding noises. I inspected to find two hinges broken. Notified home warranty company and within twenty minutes received a call for scheduling and set next day appointment!! Representative arrived and found additional broken hinge and trolly. Quickly repaired and made appropriate adjustments. Next day I noticed gap of light at top, as I didn't inspect upon completion as I left right from driveway day before. I notified Franklin who came over same day to make closing adjustment. The next day I noticed another gap on side. Again, Franklin arrived to asses and alerted me the wind was pressing against door and causing gap. He made additional adjustments to correct. Very pleased with the whole process from scheduling, service, and commitment to excellence. I will be recommending to family and friends. read more

This company was amazing! My garage door just up an quit one day, I was recommended to Franklin through a friend of mine that had used his services before. She assured me that they did good work and were up front and honest. I scheduled an appointment for them to come out and take a look at the garage door and they recommended that I change out the opener as it was well past its time. They were able to change it out, not only on the same visit but it was done within an hour or so. I was so grateful to only have to take time off work once. One of our garage doors would not stay closed - - would pop back up when it reached the bottom. Called two "name" services. The first one said that they could come out in three days. The second one gave me a quote that included a "good", "better", and "best" service. It ranged in cost from $361 to $773. I called my son-in-law and he told me to call Franklin Evans who has done work for him and his friends. Called Franklin and Associates (greengarageaz.com) and Leo came out the next morning. Their cost: $125. Had to replace a gear. Took him about 1/2 hour. And Leo checked out and adjusted my other door too. Highly recommended! By the way, no dog in this hunt. Just want to let everyone know that, like in all of the service industries, there are a lot of disreputable companies out to make too much money (had the same thing happen to me with my A/C units.) read more

Great service. Leo arrived in a timely manner. When I originally put in a request with our home warranty company, I only mentioned that one garage door was not opening properly... But when Leo got here I mentioned that the third car garage door wasn't working that great either. He did not flinch but jumped right in and fixed them both perfectly. I think he went above and beyond making sure sensors were properly rewired, secured, etc. Can't say enough good things about today's service. First time ever using this company. Came as a result of service call from One Guard home warranty. Franklin was the tech (and owner) that did the repair on my garage door. He found the problem. Did repair and had the door working within a few minutes. Great job. He explained the workings so I understood the problem. Good communication skills. Evans and Associates had installed our garage door opener 8 years ago. We haven't had any problems since then with the opener, but we had a broken spring on our door. Unfortunately, we discovered this at about 1:30PM on a Sunday. My wife took a chance and called to see if Frank, the owner, could come out to repair it on the same day, as our vehicle was stuck in the garage and she has to go to work on Monday morning. We were pleasantly surprised that he was willing to come out. The total repair was done in about 45 minutes and he tightened the track as well. He cares about his customers and does great, quick, and cost-effective work. He returns calls quickly, calls back when he says he will, and arrives right on time! When our garage door opener died we started shopping. I called a number of different companies and prices ranged from $750 to as low as $450. I decided to try Loews and found an excellent opener for less than $200. Evans & Assoc were their installer and I was extremely pleased to deal with them. They called gave us a time that they would be there and low and behold were on time. Recently the spring broke and door would not open, we decided to try them again-time given was the time they arrived, quick efficient service service in both cases and price very reasonable. Early this morning I discovered my garage door would not open. I was in a panic; my baby had a very high fever and was crying in pain. I could not get my car out of the garage to take her to the doctor. I called my home warranty and they set me up with a company who would not come out until late that afternoon. Upon reading some negative reviews of that company, I took a chance and decided to call Evans & Associates to see if they could come out sooner. They had replaced my opener and installed a keypad for me a few years ago and did a great job back then. Frank Evans, the owner, returned my call right away. I explained my situation and he stated it might be the springs. Even though he was pretty booked, he sent Leo, his tech, out right away. Leo was awesome! He was polite, professional, and efficient. He had everything fixed in less than an hour. He replaced two broken springs at a reasonable price. Turns out, springs are not even covered by my home warranty. And based on the reviews of the other company, I believe I would have been charged a lot more had I stuck with them, in addition to the $100 service call fee. In the future, I probably won't even bother with the home warranty when it comes to the garage door. I will just call Evans & Associates. We recently moved into a duplex which has a very problematic garage door opener, so we were not too surprised when we could not get it to close one morning.
