When first confronted, they claimed this was "standard practice" and suggested using a damp cloth to clean. After a couple exchanges, they later mentioned that we were supplied a "sample" slab which is why only one side is polished. We were not aware that we paid top dollar for a sample slab-only after it was installed. While craftsmanship was good, buyer beware of the exact finish you're getting.

We were helped by Kimberly, who had very good insights into what type of tile would look good on my wall.
