We had a deck project that included some involved repairs, some places I contacted didn't want to be bothered with that and would only quote a complete replacement. EV came out promptly and gave us a fair estimate. We took a little time considering our options and waited a little longer than originally promised to have the work completed. Weather played into it as well and that was taken into consideration. That being said, we are very happy with the final product!! They were super responsive to a couple of flaws in the repair and promptly fixed it to our satisfaction. The crews were all polite and worked in a very clean manner. From Efrain's very first consultation visit, we knew we had made the best contractor choice. Our 20-year-old cedar deck railings and stairs needed to be replaced primarily for safety as well as esthetics. We were very pleased by Efrain's recommendations and initial estimate, as he really listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions and choices to save us money and enhance the deck's appearance. Overall I'm somewhat content with the work performed but not completely happy. I asked EVdecks to replace some rotten sections of my deck including some deck boards spindles and rail boards along with a gazebo tear down and haul away. They also built a two step staircase. If I didn't speak up on a couple occasions I'm not sure I would have had as many sections replaced as I ended up having. I feel I was overcharged for the staircase build and gazebo tear down and haul away but that's on me. The job site wasn't completely clean when finished either requiring me to spend time dealing with what was left. Response time I will say was good with the project manager. With how good the online reviews were for this company I was expecting more. For what I paid for the job I was hoping for a better overall product and just don't feel I did. I feel I overpaid for the staircase that was built and for the gazebo demo and haul away. read more

I had some minor repairs that I needed done this year, and I called them for an estimate. They came out the same day and repaired the damage and never charged me anything. I needed a gate installed for a very tricky spot going up to our pool deck. Efrain made this so easy! I had been searching and reached out to others to get this project done but no one came out, some had crazy pricing, and others said it couldn't be done. Can't say enough about how good Efrain and Erica and their entire crew was. Very timely, neat, and went above and beyond what they were asked to do, which was repair a cedar flower box on top of my deck. Then another visit when the deck was dry, to sand, and I mean very meticulously sand my entire deck, benches, flower boxes and everything. Then they stained everything very thoroughly. I hired EvDecks to remodel and refinish our existing deck. They were quick to come out and give an estimate and the price was very competitive.
