From the beginning, I clearly stated that my goal was to proceed with embryo creation in this cycle. However, during the initial consultation and coordination process, I was not informed that all required testing needed to be completed before starting stimulation, nor was I told about the timeline or the risk of delays impacting my treatment plan. Even more concerning, I was moved into a stimulation cycle before having a proper in-person consultation with the physician. Test samples were collected at my first visit, but results were not reported until nearly two weeks later -- by which time I was already deep into the cycle. There was no proactive communication about this delay or its potential impact. When I was informed of a positive result, I immediately obtained a conflicting negative result through a different test. Despite this, no confirmatory testing was offered. Instead, the clinic relied on a single disputed result and changed my treatment plan from embryo creation to egg freezing -- despite knowing this was my primary goal. This decision was made without direct communication from the physician, and I was not given a meaningful opportunity to participate in the decision. As a result, I went through the full physical burden of stimulation but lost the opportunity to proceed with embryo creation, causing both financial loss and significant distress. Afterward, my attempts to communicate and resolve the issue went unanswered, and I have been unable to reach the coordinator who initially handled my case. At this point, I have had no choice but to pursue legal options. It is very difficult to understand how a clinic with such strong public reviews could have such serious gaps in communication, coordination, and patient care.

They canceled by phone call AS I WAS ON MY WAY IN for the procedure because they "forgot" I was allergic to latex, and so could not clean the room. I tried filling my birth control prescription there in my 20s. The doctor gave me attitude, told me I was on the wrong pills, and tried to switch me to another style. When I checked with a different gynecologist at another office, the pills she tried to switch me to would have caused debilitating migraines and not managed my endometriosis! Later in my 20s, I gave up going when they simply would not update my insurance information, swearing up and down that I was on Medi-Cal, despite my providing the brand new valid insurance card from my work AND a letter of cancellation from Medi-Cal. I am now 36 and found a lump. I am already freaked out. I should have known better than to trust them, but they could see me fast and without having to go through my insurance. My appointment was over an hour late, the "doctor" couldn't find the obvious lump until I showed it to her, and they lied about the cost, charging me past double what I had been quoted and assured of. I would not be surprised if this place got shut down for being a scam. I'd expect this level of cruelty and incompetence from one of those fake crisis pregnancy centers. Eighteen years of rudeness and time wasting. Shame on me for ever trying to give them another chance. Shame on them for such all-around failure.

The office wasn't overcrowded, privacy was respected and enforced, the environment was clean, parking was plentiful, and the equipment appeared modern and up-to-date. The wait was about 45 minute to an hour but they told me that when I got there. But you definitely need an appointment, I overheard that the wait for walk-ins was much much longer. The office was very clean and nice, comfortable chairs and a very clean bathroom. When there wasn't many people in the waiting room someone came out and cleaned the chairs which I thought was really great. The front desk woman is kind of no BS, but I assume she has to be that way because of what she might have to deal with. To be honest she made me feel safe, because she was not f-Ing around! They lock the front door and you have to buzz and talk to the front desk before they let you in. So, overall I felt really safe! The nurse and doctor were great. I told the nurse and doctor I have ptsd and chronic pelvic pain and Pap smears have been really difficult for me in the past. She was so incredibly gentle, it was very literally the easiest, least painful pap I've ever had. Definitely will be going back for future paps!

I've visited other Planned Parenthood locations before and have never had issues with them accessing my information or accepting my Family PACT card. At this location, I was told they were not affiliated with other sites, so they couldn't pull up my records or use my coverage. I had left my card in another bag, but it has always been on file in the past and never caused an issue. This was surprising and frustrating since it has never been a problem elsewhere. On top of that, the front desk staff were not welcoming or helpful. The interaction felt cold and unnecessarily tense. Another patient ahead of me seemed to receive similar treatment, so it did not feel like an isolated incident. I understand that everyone has bad days, but this is a place that serves the community and people often come in feeling vulnerable. The way patients are treated at the front desk matters. Unfortunately, my experience felt dismissive and argumentative. When I tried to explain my insurance situation, the receptionist responded in a way that felt accusatory and diminishing rather than helpful. At a certain point, the interaction became uncomfortable enough that I decided to leave. I also expressed my concerns about the interaction and how it reflected on the organization. This experience did not reflect the level of care and respect I have come to expect from Planned Parenthood, and I hope this location can improve its approach to patient interactions.
