This is a review of my experience in successfully freezing my eggs, with 2 rounds of egg retrieval. My last visit was March 2025. This office is very welcoming and pretty. They have a coffee and snack bar at the front desk. The facility is cleaner than a hospital and with much friendlier vibes and bedside manner. Staff: my Clinical Coordinator, Nancy, was great. She responded to my calls/texts when I had questions about the injections I had to self administer. Financial Coordinator Mayra was also very friendly. I interacted with so many other staff, I wish I remembered their names because I had not one single bad interaction with anyone. I'm not sure that I will end up using them, but what I CAN say is that coming to CARE has improved my quality of life significantly. I first went to CARE Fertility in 2022 just to check on my egg count. After having my ultrasound, I learned that I had cysts in my ovaries. Long story short, this is the start of how I learned that I have endometriosis. This helped make sense of my painful period cramps that constantly interrupted my life since I was 11 years old. Something that should have been caught, if our healthcare system was better. After consulting with Dr Q, (excellent bedside manner btw), he advised me to go to my primary care doctor with the results to get properly diagnosed and have surgery to get them removed. Then I went back to CARE Fertility and went through 2 rounds of egg retrievals. The best thing that came from this, is l now am able to manage endometriosis. Update: I am replying to the generic reply from Dr Quintero. I can't stress enough how much you need to do your homework when it comes to IVF. It is completely outside of standard practice to transfer in the same cycle as an operative Hysteroscopy. I did 6 consults with the best of the best in LA after seeing Quintero and ALL said 10/10 RE's would not make that call -- in fact, NOT A SINGLE ONE had ever heard of any Dr. doing this. Dr Quintero also triggered me too early during my cycle. Be very careful at this clinic. Oh, I can't stress this enough! As an IVF veteran with quite the story from this clinic, I would not recommend this place to my best friend nor any enemy. I saw many doctors after my time with Dr Quintero and each RE has stated he navigated away from the most basic standard care. They have all been absolutely horrified. If you think you'll be saving money here you're very wrong. Save your money and go to a reputable clinic. Go somewhere with a reputable lab, doctor AND stats on SART.ORG -- please don't make the mistake I did. read more

I do not recommend. This is going to be such a stressful experience as you do it, please do not add to it by pairing with a team that let me down on multiple fronts. My experience with C.A.R.E. Fertility and Dr. Quintero resulted in *zero medical follow-up after an emergency*, severe communication breakdowns, and unexpected out-of-pocket costs. After two IVF rounds with C.A.R.E, I developed a serious complication and had to be admitted to the emergency room for an extended period of time. The attending ER physician stated he attempted to reach Dr. Quintero directly for a medical consultation and left a message. As I recovered over the next week, (It was serious and required monitoring and further checks), the ER doctor called later in the week to let me know that Dr. Quintero had never gotten in touch. After waiting additional time for C.A.R.E. to make contact, I wondered if perhaps the ER doctor had not called, so I gave Dr. Quintero the benefit of the doubt, and I emailed my care team directly (Lili and Genesis) to notify them of my hospitalization and requested that Dr. Quintero contact me about my recovery (since, you know, this was a result of treatment) and to see if there were other options for treatment. The responses were cold, they said he was on vacation and would get back to me when he returned. He had no one else on staff to cover for him while he was gone apparently. *Dr. Quintero never contacted me again, even after further emails *. It has now been months, and despite going through two IVF cycles under his care before my ER visit, (where I paid extra money for mistakes made by his office), I never received a single follow-up check-in from him after the emergency. As a patient, I felt completely neglected and abandoned during a medical crisis. Administratively, the office was disorganized and costly: I was told by staff that my insurance authorization was in process in March, but my insurer confirmed it wasn't submitted until late April. This was after previous poor communication with staff. My specialty pharmacy was not set up properly by C.A.R.E, which they then tried to blame on me, forcing me to pay out-of-pocket directly to the clinic for medications. I have had a lot of trouble getting reimbursed by my insurance for this.  Coordination was reassigned due to internal miscommunications early on, and then continued after they had tried to fix it. Going through IVF is vulnerable and difficult enough. To wind up in the ER and then never hear from your doctor again is devastating. To have extra unnecessary expenses added to your experience is also upsetting. I urge you to please look elsewhere for your IVF journey. read more

We came to Care Fertility after trying to conceive naturally for over two years with no success due to unexplained infertility. I had visited other clinics before, and many of them immediately pushed IVF without really trying to identify the cause or explore other options first. Dr. Quintero was completely different. He never pressured us--instead, he focused on understanding our situation, running the right tests, and helping us make informed decisions before we ultimately chose IVF. He is incredibly kind, attentive, and personable. He always remembered even the smallest details about us, despite seeing so many patients every day. If needed, he would even come in on weekends. He once told me he would help make our dream come true--and he truly did. With his carefully tailored, personalized protocol (using the lowest amount of medication possible), we were able to get 12 embryos from our first egg retrieval . I am now 9 weeks pregnant with our first baby, and it worked on the very first transfer! Regarding the clinic: The clinic is located in the heart of Glendale and is very easy to find with convenient parking. The interior is beautiful, modern, and extremely clean. They always have coffee and snacks available, which is such a thoughtful touch. Having been to other clinics that felt dark and depressing, this one has a completely different, welcoming atmosphere. Their branding is also beautiful (and I say that as a graphic designer). Regarding the staff: Every single staff member was friendly, supportive, and patient with all my questions--and I had a lot, since this process can be very emotional and overwhelming. Both my IVF coordinator and financial coordinator were always available via text whenever I needed them. The nursing staff, surgical team, lab team, and front desk were all consistently kind and professional. They also scheduled my every appointment at 8am to help me avoid missing work, which was extremely helpful! Regarding the cost: Compared to other clinics, Care Fertility offers very competitive pricing--and, most importantly, full transparency. All packages are clearly outlined on their website with detailed breakdowns of what's included. We ended up saving over 35% compared to other places. Another huge plus is that they offer in-house financing with 0% interest and no impact on your credit. Many medications are also available directly at the clinic, which makes everything much more convenient. Overall: I am so grateful we chose this clinic and met Dr. Q. He is not only an exceptional doctor but also a genuinely caring human being. He doesn't treat patients like transactions--he truly understands and respects the emotional journey of fertility treatment. We will absolutely be back in a few years for baby number two . read more

Many people likely find this clinic because it is inexpensive, not because of trusted referrals or documented success stories. Fertility care is too important for shortcuts. Wanted to come back with an update. Can't thank the team enough for everything they did for us. Dr. Thomas and Dr. Quintero are an amazing pair. Their knowledge and confidence are like none other. My wife and I are eternally thankful for their support. After many attempts with IUI (somewhere else), IVF was the way to go. We got pregnant on our first attempt. Unfortunately, the embryo did not go past 10 weeks. This is something that was out of their control. My wife's body was getting ready to host a baby. On our second attempt, the embryo grabbed on for a ride. We will never forget our each visit we had and we heard a heartbeat. Thank you for keeping us together when we felt we couldn't continue. Fast forward to now. Our baby girl is 5 months and is healthy. She is worth every tear we shed. We took advantage of their services and always knew we would be having a little girl. Just like we wanted. We also knew she was as healthy as she could possibly be coming into this world. Attached is a picture of our little one. We have no words to express how happy we are. My opinion: Horrible experience, wasted time and money and 0 responsibility from this clinic. Pay money and we don't care after that. I did a cycle with them, they ignored that I had my period during stims, out of 6 eggs they were able only get 2 fertilized and 1 embryo (last time out of 7 eggs I got 3 embryos). I think it is a result of luck of care during stimulation, bed lab and not experienced embryologist. I have a very strong believe that they only pretended to do embryo transfer (I don't think that they got any embryos due to their fault), I had embryo transfer 2 months before and doctors response to my I didn't even fell anything that this is not his first rodeo, I knew I wasn't pregnant for a second and as another doctor told me any embryo will take it is only matter of for how long, the fact that my period came as usual only supported my gut feeling and suspicions that there was no embryo and no transfer. I asked nurses if they missed my period my email immediately went to their customer complaints person, I was so depressed after this experience it took me couple months to get back on track with that conversation and when I finally asked them for a meeting they just ghosted me (probably hoping that they only couple month away from lawsuits deadline (you can sue a clinic within a year). I had a few IVF cycles with different clinics this is the first one so unprofessional profiteering business. read more

We are grateful to have found CARE Fertility and had positive experiences but also some negative. We switched to CARE after not getting great results at another fertility clinic. The pricing was great and everyone was so kind and we were able to get in right away. Unfortunately, we had the same issues at CARE as we did with our first clinic, not having many follicles even after stims for IVF. Our last clinic suggested cancelling our cycle or doing IUI since I wouldn't get as many follicles retrieved as we wanted. At CARE we went through with the retrieval process thinking and being told we would be able to get enough follicles for a future family. Sadly, we only ended up with 1 embryo. We are so grateful for our 1 embryo but sad that despite relaying our concerns from the previous clinic that we faced the same issues and not much explanation as to why this was happening Our egg retrieval process was seamless and grateful for the kind nurses that made that experience anxiety free. Pre-transfer we did a saline sonogram- this experience was horrendous. One of the new drs or training doctors did my SIS and could not get the speculum in and was twisting and god knows what. Dr. Q had to come in and adjust her work after minutes of pain and inability for her to get the speculum in. After this I did reach out to my coordinator and requested that Dr. not be involved in my process. My coordinator Nancy was so organized and responsive which for someone that runs more anxious was great. She was attentive and responded kindly whenever I needed something. The sonographer Jennifer is always wonderful! She is so gentle and kind which again is always appreciated. One thing to note is that Dr. Q is not always at this office. I think I saw him briefly 2 or 3 times during my process as he splits his time. So if you are looking for a very hands on doctor, you may want to consider this. Our transfer process was beautiful and smooth and we got pictures on a thumb drive which is a nice keepsake. Overall, we are happy with our end results but also aware that some things could have definitely gone smoother. read more

My 1st consult with Care fertility back in 2015. I was so overwhelmed. I knew it was gonna take me a while to save for treatment and pay for it the regular way without financing so I save my money. I returned back in 2025 with money in hand cash. I did all the proper testing I took care of all of my financial obligations. Everything through the payment process was easy and sweet once they collected my money was when things changed.. Do not believe in the package deal there is no such thing they're gonna be telling you you ran out of money the following week for medication. they hid my AMH level from me almost the entire time through stamps when I begged them for the results the entire time Every appointment every doctor, every staff... I had taken the AMH test a month before and still no results every appointment I went in for a ultrasound finally when we were ready to trigger I finally press them that I needed my AMH today I received the paper. Odd to find out my AMH is extremely low which meant I needed to prepare take supplements before even taking stands. I also needed to be on a low-dose mini cycle with the AMH solo however, I was on a triple dose cycle they maximize my medication which resulted in a zero egg retrieval not to mention Dr. Quintero left behind one follicle and forced me to do a second egg retrieval for that one follicle that I did not know they were gonna charge me for I would never have paid for a egg retrieval for one follicle I would have rather save that for another cycle after the second egg retrieval. I reached out to the office to see what was my next steps, financially and clinically, I was told that the financial department had to reach out to me. They avoided my calls. No one ever reached out to me. I had to keep reaching out to them finally once I talk to someone, I found out that I had to pay for it entire new cycle when I hadn't even received the two transfers that they had promised this is where the next red flag popped up. This office is designed to maximize treatment meaning that they're gonna take you through a couple cycles before success to run up the bill.. I was so discouraged because I had never let anyone get over on me that way once I seen it was out of my control. I refuse to pay them any more money and I've decided to move forward with a new clinic. I advise anybody who is planning to use this clinic. Please do more research before you do. This place is a scam. they showed no empathy or sympathy for me. They ran my bills up without my consent that I never signed for and almost discourage me to doing IVF all the way around. I'm so happy that I found my new clinic, but I hope that this review reaches all those future parents out there because we struggle enough emotionally and financially through fertility process to be taken advantage of please be very vigilant. Not even the CEO Wilson showed empathy in the fact that I was misled. He did admit that My paperwork was done incorrectly, and there was some hangups in my contract. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! If I could give this place negative stars I would. The most painful experience of my life was at this location when they performed an HSG exam without the proper care. I was dealing with pain months after the exam occurred. The staff did not care about my pain and wellbeing and only cared about getting paid. Please look elsewhere!! read more

PROs: This office and I got off to a shaky start. Due to some miscommunication over the phone, we had a confrontation at the beginning due to payment, but the manager was great about handling that miscommunication. The radiology tech was SUCH a compassionate dude to let me get off the table before my HSG because he noted that I seemed really uncomfortable. When I apologized for backing out despite him setting up everything, he said: "hey, don't worry about it, this happens all the time. You gotta feel comfortable before you do this." WHICH I REALLY APPRECIATED! The nurse who took care of me also was a very kind human during what ended up being a very emotional experience. CONs: In a consultation with Dr. Quintero, he noted that maybe we should get a "quick" scan of my fallopian tubes in case there were any polyps in there. I remember he said "take a quick shot" multiple times, which seemed to make it seem like this was a pretty chill procedure. Having been early in our journey, I wasn't sure exactly what an HSG involved, but Dr. Q seemed friendly enough and I figured, well, if they have time for the procedure today, and I happen to be on the correct day of my cycle for it to work, seemed like it would be good to get it done now. However, things started going weird once I got ready for the procedure. The nurse asked if I knew what an HSG was, I said not really, and she explained it was to make sure my fallopian tubes were open. I noted that Dr. Q said I needed to get a procedure to check for polyps. She noted that the SHG was the procedure for polyps, and not the HSG--did I want to talk to the doctor? I said sure, that would be helpful. She got him in, and he explained quickly that he could see polyps through the HSG as well, and then rushed off. The nurse also noted that they'd be taking an X-Ray with an HSG. Since my OB noted that we should be trying to conceive from day 10-22 of my cycle (and we had just tried the night before), I also wanted to make sure that this was a decision I was making together with my spouse, but was having difficulty getting a hold of him (FYI, there's not really good cell reception there)... and we also just wanted to talk to the doc about it to make sure it made sense. How tragic would it be if the one time we DID get pregnant naturally, we blasted the little one with radiation... (yes, they do a pregnancy test before hand, BUT I also know that pregnancy tests don't work until some time AFTER you've conceived). Also, up until now, I had just been getting vag. ultrasounds for checking my insides, so "quick shot" sounded like it might just be another ultrasound earlier... While I was in the waiting room trying to get a hold of my partner to talk to him (men aren't allowed in the procedure rooms for the comfort of other patients, which I get), Dr. Q walks in and tells me that he's sorry, but it seems like we don't trust the clinic, and we should find another fertility clinic because we're not a good fit. I tried to apologize, saying I had just had bad experiences before, and I really didn't mean it personally, and he doubled down, saying good luck. I felt so awful. I didn't mean to make people feel like we didn't trust them. This is an extremely vulnerable and intense and anxiety provoking process. I just wanted to make sure I understood what was going on. I also have had REALLY bad experiences in the past with doctors and billing etc... Again, it felt alarming that the nurse told me that the procedure I was about to do was NOT for looking for polyps (which was what Dr. Q noted was the point of doing this today... I found out later, when I actually got my HSG and SHG done somewhere else, the nurse was right)...so of course I wanted to check in about the discrepancy, at the very least. In retrospect, it's pretty scary that he was able to hand wave it all and say "yes, HSG also can find polyps" without a more full explanation. I don't doubt that it sometimes can, HOWEVER, I do know that looking at the HSG images, docs were unable to see anything odd in my uterus until the SHG which showed my uterus... RIDDLED with polyps. I also am very surprised that Dr. Q talked about the HSG as if it's a quick and easy procedure, which, even when done with kindness, it's DEFINITELY not. I am SO glad I didn't end up doing this here. In contrast, when another doc looked over my history of procedures and saw I had an HSG, she said with kindness: it's very intense , and great job getting through it. I have a feeling Dr. Q would NOT have been as understanding/kind about the pain and discomfort I was about to experience there, considering how he talked about how "quick/easy" this procedure would be... tl;dr--If you like knowing what's going on, or have some anxiety and tend to ask a lot of questions, you should probably go elsewhere. Dr. Q doesn't seem to be very patient. While he *seems* informative during the consult, I would say he's not informative when it really matters. read more

My husband and I did IVF through Care Fertility and our experience was great! IVF is a stressful process and an emotional roller coaster. They guided us through every step, explained the medications thoroughly, and supported us through it all. When we had a successful pregnancy, they celebrated with us too. Dr. Thomas was wonderful to work with. She was very concise but also compassionate and answered all our questions. We always knew what was coming next and what we needed to do. They also store embryos within their facility which is awesome - no concerns with traveling embryos on implantation day! We will go through them again for our next implantation. read more
