I didn't grow up playing lacrosse and the league didn't provide us with an equipment list, but the customer service was great; the guy knew exactly what we needed, how to properly fit everything, etc. He also didn't try to upsell us or shovel extras at us, which I appreciated. (We ended up buying some extras, anyway!) It was 100% worth the drive, and on top of feeling confident my son is well-outfitted in quality safety gear that fits properly, I felt good supporting an independent business in a sector that has come to be dominated by impersonal national chains and online retail.

(I had called around to other shops and had no luck finding what I wanted. ) Went over and manager (Dylan) was super helpful, offered some other options as well but ultimately settled on the boot I was interested in. He even price checked and found they have marked the price wrong which worked in my favor. Dylan suggested I bring my skis in and they would adjust the bindings. I brought the skis in the next day and he personally adjusted and serviced my skis (without any prior appointment). Prices are fair, great customer service, nice local business with decent selection of equipment and clothing...and they sell spas too...check them out! I will bring any and all of my future ski related purchases to these folks. Highly recommend! 5 stars

It also has a batting cage, for those interested in getting their swing on. They also knew their business when it came to archery other than the compound bow mania that modern bow hunters and archery target shooters suffer from. They knew just what I needed with minimal discussion and I was very satisfied with the finished product they provided. I needed some arrows for traditional archery and they made up some for me on the spot. The price was quite reasonable. I have found a new favorite shop for my archery needs and maybe for shotgun season as well. I ordered some arrows from a shop in Southeast, NH and I am still waiting some three weeks later!
