While most companies weren't able to accommodate such a small party, this company was happy to work with us. Mike called me in advance to talk about what kind of day we wanted to have, what we like to drink and if we had any special ideas in mind. He had a great working knowledge of: which breweries had the best views; who had what kinds of products; what sort of food was served where; who had live music or special events and so on! He seemed happy to accommodate any requests we had in designing the tour, but was equally capable of crafting a great day with no help from me. It was nice to feel like I could be as much or as little a part of those choices as I wanted and know it would still be a great day. Our tour was also with Mike - who was on time, communicative, friendly, a good driver and an overall great guide. We had a wonderful day full of fantastic beer, some tasty cider, great food and good music. I would absolutely use Hudson Valley Beer Tours again in the future!

Very professional, listened to what we wanted, then took us to three wineries that were fantastic. Each winery had its own unique character and the wines were spot on, as well the spirits in the last one we went to. Donovan's van was very clean, well air conditioned, and had all the amenities needed to go from one winery to the next. He's very knowledgeable of the area, well prepared, and an all around fun and great guy. He picked us up at our hotel at Marriott Courtyard Poughkeepsie and after the tour dropped us off at the Beacon Train station it really worked out very well. Donovan set up each reservation so I had to do nothing but, book my trip with him and when he arrived he even had champagne and bottled water for us! At each stop Donovan made sure that we were treated like royalty. He didn't just drop us off, he got out with us and set us all up comfortably at each winery even going out of his way to get ice for our wine and helping us choose the best reviewed wines at each stop. Then Donovan even took pictures of our group at each stop and then sent them all to me to make sure I had memories of our trip. Donovan's vehicle was clean and well taken care of. All 9 of us fit comfortably with room for a few more. He was so hospitable and so much fun to hang out with on our drive to each stop. He played the music we liked and kept us laughing the entire time. I can't say enough about Donovan. I would definitely recommend him 100%.

We all met at Brew Practitioners- a new brewery in Florence in a very cool old brick building. We enjoyed a pint, gathered the troops and off we went! As we got on the bus I was pleasantly surprised to be given a little plastic cup!- Yes! Beers on board!! There was a variety of growlers to taste from as we set off on our tour. I was really impressed with the service at each brewery and as we rolled on the party got better and better! You can play your own music through blue-tooth on the bus, the bus driver was fun and engaged, and we brought a couple pizza's on board with us for absorption of the beer as we went! As you arrive at each Brewery you're bring the party with. The bartenders know your from the Brew Bus and jump right into giving you tasters and education on their beers. As I see it this is a win-win for everyone. We get to experience the local breweries, they get business and everyone loves on beer! After a little while we ordered food from the window, didn't really like this concept as you had to get up and order it, pay and then go get it yourself when the beeper went off. Luckily it wasn't busy so our table and drinks were untouched by other patrons. Ordered the Dooley and the turkey BLT, got a choice for a side dish opted for fries and tots. Food didn't take long and was good. After you're done they have a trash can and an empty tray station to return too. No one came to clean the table, no one picked up empty glasses so we put ours on the bar when leaving. Staff was friendly. Cool little spot to pop into for a drink.
