Erin and Event Floral exceeded my expectations with the florals, greenery and decor for my daughter's wedding at The Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms. I am extremely detail oriented and particular (ok, I'm picky) and Erin was very accommodating with designing and the changes to the floral arrangements my daughter and I requested. From the table linens that were all freshly steamed, to the jaw dropping candle display in the Pavilion entry, greens and lights that were strung from the high ceiling, the fireplace mantle display, to the the stunning flower arrangements on the tables...everything was absolutely perfect! We used Event Floral for our wedding, and we were happy with their services. However, there are some things we feel that could have been better. We realized the night before that we were short some napkins, which was okay because they brought them the next morning but it made it kind of difficult to decorate ahead of time. Additionally, our main style was greenery and we thought some, not all, of it looked kind of dead and wilted. We did all of the table decorations ourselves, to save money, and the greenery we ordered from Costco looked better than some of their greenery. I do want to mention that they made sure to have almost all of the linens down for us the day before so that we could decorate. Also, they did do a fantastic job with the bridal party bouquets and groomsmen's boutonnieres. Lastly, they communicated with us very well, and working with them was easy. All in all, Event Floral was a good choice for our wedding. read more

I am not knowledgeable about flowers so I came in with a few of my favorite flowers in mind they brought the bouquets to life!!! They were so easy to work with! While my wedding was a while ago, this is still a truthful, fair, and valid review. So, this is where I feel I can express information that could help other people using her services. Deb and her staff at Event Floral do wonderful flower arrangements. My flowers were gorgeous and I couldn't have been happier with how they looked. There were some issues, though. Deb is very forgetful and wasn't ready with our flowers on two separate occasions. She also volunteered table overlays to me, but they weren't ready in time. My advice is to stay on top of her to get things done and check in regularly. read more

Event floral did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding! Erin was easy to work with, reasonably priced, and understood my vision completely! I wanted mostly greenery throughout the venue and a very specific type of bouquet look. I know nothing about flowers and was not specific on an exact flower I wanted but more the look I wanted. I told her my budget and gave her freedom to choose whatever flowers were in my price range. During our in person appointment I showed her my entire Pinterest board of ideas and we went from there! I also rented lanterns for my centerpieces, drapery for my head table, entrance walkway, and ceremony backdrop, AND lights! They came to set everything up the morning of the wedding and afterwards to pick everything up. We had event floral for our wedding in August 2013. Our flowers were delivered in the morning, but our cake topper was missing. We contacted them several times after for a refund and have yet to recieve our refund for the cake topper. The flowers we did recieve looked mediocre as many were somewhat wilted. Would not use them again. read more

Loved them. For our wedding, we did not want to do a lot of flowers. We wanted lights and candles. We wanted our wedding to be about neutrals and succulents (just felt right) and how the lighting could decorate without flowers needing to overpower everything. With these small ideas, Event floral was able to make an incredible wedding. They helped us split our large space into two distinct areas for a separate cocktail hour. I got married in November 2014 and started looking for floral designs in Rockford/Beloit in May 2014. When I was looking at flowers, I was disappointed that I kept getting told what arrangements would look good at my venue. But when I went to Event Floral, I was pleasantly surprised. I worked with Erin and she was great! Erin really listened to what I wanted and she made some amazing arrangements from what I asked. She was very open with the cost, there were no hidden fees. The flowers were dropped off at the church and they decorated the venue in the afternoon so when I arrived to the reception hall, it was decorated beautifully. Event Floral went above and beyond to make our wedding all that we hoped it to be. Erin is incredibly gifted and an absolute pleasure to work with, so it's no surprise she quickly became my favorite vendor in the wedding planning process. I first met with Erin early on in my planning. She was extremely patient in listening to my ideas and helpful in making suggestions. I originally anticipated only getting flowers from Event, but I soon realized they had SO much more to offer. Event Floral provided flowers, vases, linens, and various decor for my wedding. Everything that they did was done well, professionally, and meticulously. Erin communicated with me through every step of the process. Event Floral provided a detailed cost breakdown of each item at our initial meeting. She would email me when she had new ideas and provide pictures of various options for my decor. Erin also reached out when she was preparing for another event that had flowers or decor I may be interested in seeing. Event Floral's flowers and arrangements are one of a kind. Event provided a large variety of flowers for our wedding--tall and short arrangements for centerpieces, smaller centerpieces for cocktail hour, urns of large arrangements, small bouquets at the end of pews, bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, etc. Each flower arrangement was unique and perfectly arranged. Not to mention these bouquets were very large and full. Event also transported flowers from the church to reception so we could enjoy them in both places. Event Floral also provided linens for our wedding. They draped the entire ceiling of our reception in beautiful sweeping white fabric, completely transforming the room. They also provided table linens that wee much more affordable than other vendors. (They were able to order me samples of various table overlays before ordering). Event Floral also decorated the stairway leading to our reception room with draped fabric and flowers. Event also provided vases, candles, and a chandelier for our event. They have a large selection on-site with various color options. They can also obtain nearly anything you would like! My favorite thing about Event Floral was the preview I received of my wedding flowers. Erin created a sample centerpiece arrangement of the flowers and colors I requested. From there, I made some changes and tried different vases. That way I knew exactly what my flowers would look like months before the wedding--relieving a lot of stress. Further, I was able to view my flowers the day before my wedding! Event Floral allowed my family to come in the day before to see the bouquets and centerpieces. I was so pleased and relieved that I did not need to visit my venue the day of my wedding. A bride shouldn't be scared to see the outcome of a very large investment on the day of the wedding when it's too late for changes! I am so thankful we found Event Floral and Erin-- our wedding would not have been what it was without them! read more

The actual flowers for our wedding were not what we had ordered. Centerpieces were to have green hydrangea and they had white. Buffet centerpiece was just a vase with flowers stuck in it....looked like a funeral arrangement. When I sent a letter to them after the wedding expressing my disappointment, I received no reply! I've talked to other people who have experienced the same difficulties, the flowers they ordered for their wedding where not what they had discussed in planning meetings. read more
