First, they suddenly said they didn't want to hang our paper lanterns. Then they changed their mind and said they would, but it would cost $30 per lantern--even though the lanterns themselves cost only about $2 each! I had done my homework and knew that other companies, including Platinum was quoting $2.50/lantern, so we were pretty shocked by the price. Second, just a week before the wedding, they informed us that they needed additional setup time, which would have forced us to pay an extra $1,400 to rent the venue for longer. At that point, I decided to shop around for other quotes. Our DJ recommended Platinum, and I was astonished to find that they were nearly $2,000 cheaper than our original event rental company--mainly because our caterer had been adding an extra 22% operational fee and 7.75% sales tax on top of the rentals. I worked directly with Sydney from Platinum, double-checked for any hidden fees, and she assured me there were none. So a quick tip for other couples: you may want to have your wedding coordinator work directly with the event rental company instead of going through the caterer, as the caterer may be adding unnecessary upcharges. We made the switch to Platinum the Tuesday before the wedding, and Sydney and her team did a phenomenal job. We were thoroughly impressed, especially given the last-minute change. Everything was on time, there were absolutely no issues, and the setup was so seamless that none of our guests even noticed the transitions. The courtyard looked absolutely stunning with the market lights and all 40 lanterns. Thank you so much to Sydney and the team for helping make our day so perfect. We really liked the keepsake memory box with the USB of all photos taken at the event. She wasn't our photographer so it was just the photobooth pictures plus some bonus ones they took while they were setting up and while people were using the booth. The photobooth pictures came as both raw individual photos and as templates (what people get printed on the wedding day). Turned out great!

From start to finish I was treated with the upmost respect in the most professional manner. Pricing and options were laid out in an understandable manner- there is no real fine print because everything was explained from the very beginning. When I had a question, I asked and they went into details to make sure everything was understood. I found that they are the most affordable option San Diego- hands down by the furthest margin. I really didn't know what to expect, but in having a conversation with them, I felt comfortable with going with this option. I settled with their Bronze package (in hindsight, I wish I went with the Gold). Once we worked out the time and date, they contacted the venue in advanced to organize their set-up (I found this out because I contacted the event coordinator at the venue saying I was going with a photo booth- the event coordinator responded that they have already been contacted-that was a nice surprise). The day of the event, they were punctual and friendly. During the event, they were very friendly and inviting to everyone at the venue. I was immediately blown away by their set up - when I mentioned props were included, they had hundreds of options (hats, signs, small trinkets, toys, hand sized cutouts, and more). Overall it was a great time, I was glad we just so happened to stumble on meeting each other, and I will NOT hesitate to use their services again. I definitely plan to in the near and distant future.
