As the groom, my favorite moments were when they welcomed me onstage to play drums with the band at the beginning of the mother-son dance, and how both their acoustic dinner set and their high-energy open dance set were incredible and showed off the many talents of our musicians. Allison was our lead vocalist and MC, and she was incredible in every way imaginable. The musical talent was on full display from everyone, and she did a great job reading the energy of the crowd and keeping it exactly where it needed to be. The musicians were very easy and fun to plan with, super responsive, and open to involving the crowd and having people join them onstage. We had to deal with a major last-minute change where our open dance floor was supposed to be outside but ended up inside, and based on how well the band adjusted, I think it was even more special. I won't spoil too many surprises for anybody else lucky enough to work with Republic of Music. I'll end this review by saying they exceeded the already high expectations I had and made our wedding reception that much more special for everyone involved.
