All I'm gonna say is it's $100 to get your CNA certificate for a reason I was placed with a mentor…read morethat was a CNA and she was the worst. She literally sat there and abandoned me multiple times she took out a residents call light from the socket. She literally set me up and told me that the juice machine was for the employees as well, and I also told her was the food for the employees she said no. She also left me with a resident on the toilet for me to bathe her by myself, i'm in training why would you do that? So when I seen her take out that call light I immediately wanted to tell somebody because if anything would've happened to that resident, I would've been questioned as well. The second day of clinical I was paired with a nicer CNA and she got in trouble for an accident that wasn't really her fault and she was so scared having your employees be that scared is a red flag. You don't want your employees to be that scared working with you, but you don't want them knowing that you're weak neither so I started to feeling pain so I sat down someone that's a RN whatever she was came up to me rude talking about you can't sleep here. I replied and said if I was sleeping, I would not be able to hear what you just said she said are you getting smart? I repeated what I said and she said where is your CNA? I said I don't know. Go find her, why did she report me to the higher up when I tell you the higher up, her name is dawn so disrespectful so rude she didn't care not one bit. She didn't want an explanation she did not want to solve anything in a respectful professional way that's why they lack CNA's and the employees are scared to work there she wasn't professional. She gave zero care. She didn't want an explanation. She didn't give out no warnings. You can tell this person was a relative or her favorite. She was looking for a case to terminate me, she couldn't really find one until her reporter told her that I didn't want to get on the elevator with the girl I had the conflict with that's when she said oh that's it you're done like are you serious that's insane. I was waiting for my ride in the lobby, it's this one lady her name is Ginny I can guarantee you she uses street substance. She throw me out into the snow while I was sitting quite and respectful in the lobby talking about there has been reports saying that I was using foul language another lie.

Villa Maria successfully rehabilitated my mother after two other lousy, substandard Fargo nursing…read morehomes failed. Villa Maria saved my mother from a life of being bedridden and helped her regain function so she could go back home. Mom needed therapy after 8 hours of back surgery. At Villa Maria she consistently received 2 hours of PT/OT per day, 6 days a week. We could only get 5 days a week at Eventide and Bethany. Villa Maria ensured Mom consistently received bladder scans to monitor her bladder retention and thus prevented anymore UTIs and backed up kidneys (this was a big problem at the other nursing home - no monitoring, only 2 bladder scans). Villa's therapists were very experienced and initiated e-stim treatments which provided Mom much need pain relief. They DID NOT just throw more narcotics at her. The admissions manager, Vicki, was a Godsend with her knowledge and experience. She facilitated Mom's transfer to Villa and helped me navigate the crisis Eventide caused my family. Villa's social worker, Sam, was a huge help with preparing Mom's discharge plan, arranging in home therapy and getting me needed documents for our Medicare appeal (that was all caused by Eventide). By the way, Villa did all this during COVID. Mom was in quarantine for two weeks, but we could visit on her iPad and sit outside the window. We could watch her with therapy and listen in. If Mom or Dad need therapy again, it's an EASY choice for us to return to Villa Maria. We can trust them and their care and that is some much needed peace of mind for me.

We had problems here from the beginning. I've heard good things about other facilities and about…read moreindependent living at the West Fargo facility, but West Fargo's Memory Care is really badly run and seriously understaffed. Their saying is "If we don't know we can't grow." We let them know and let them know. Each time they'd respond that they'd let the team know. Things never changed. I've never worked so hard with so little result. Management doesn't care. It's a nice looking facility but the care is poor. Please talk to the families of residents before you put your loved one in there. We got our loved one out of there and we are SO happy with his care at the new facility. Ask how many head nurses they've had in the last five years. It's a revolving door. All the RNs run away. And New Perspective management, please don't tell me on here that you're sorry to hear this. We expressed our concerns to you over and over to no avail. Fix the problem.

Also, I can't volunteer there. VOLUNTEER!!! The elderly are something I'm extremely passionate about and the fact that I can't even still go see them and give back like I want is awful. It's awful to deny a person to volunteer. Also, in Betty harbor the residents are not paid attention to and they're so short staffed because there's not enough pay (even though they're for profit) so everyone quits. Overall, not good, I would not have my grandparents live here
