    Events by Robin was amazing to work with. I will start by saying I was a high maintenance bride. I had a pretty good ideas of what I wanted and needed someone to help me make my vision come true. EBR 100% did just that. They set me up with their vendors they knew would give me what I wanted. They were committed to keeping an open line of communication with me (something that I struggled with at different points with vendors that I had picked on my own) and on the day of the wedding I handed every little detail over to Brandi (one of their lead planners) and was able to enjoy my wedding day! The money I saved with the vendors that EBR set me up with more than out weighed the cost of hiring EBR for what they call a month of wedding planning and a mini design. But to be honest they did so much more than that. 6 months before my wedding they were sending me vendor lists and setting me up on apps to help me manage what I needs to get done before my month of planning began with them.  This plan worked best for me because I wanted to be really involved. They have different wedding planning services for every bride depending on what your needs are.  Lastly. If you want to have fun at your wedding you have to get a wedding planner, period. And if you are going to spend the money on getting a wedding planner, Events By Robin is worth the investment.

    I do not even know where to begin with Robin and her team. If I had to do this all over again, Robin would be the first person I would book. Even if I were to get married in a park, backyard, or the venue I booked, I cannot stress enough how important she was to me and my wedding. Not only did they execute my perfect wedding, they enhanced the vision I had in every detail and aspect I could dream up! Robin is such a wealth of information and the most important resource I had while planning my wedding. She helped get me focused in the right direction and gave the best tips and tricks for keeping me within my budget too. On the big day, it was so nice to have my family and wedding party ask her questions and for direction instead of me for a few hours, and Robin took care of it all. But most importantly, she somehow handles it all with the biggest smile on her face. I swear the world could burn down and Robin would have you believe you're beautiful and this is the best day ever! My guests were raving about her! My other vendors love working with her! She was more than a coordinator, she became family. And that extra step totally made the difference between our wedding and other weddings we've gone to. Even guests who couldn't quite figure out why our wedding felt so much more fun knew that the people involved made the extra noticeable difference. And how could I forget on how flawless she executed the groom's gift! I know I made it a little complicated, but Robin handled it with perfection and it was such a hit for my husband and his groomsmen. Oh and she made sure that we ate! She even brought out the cocktail hour food to us which was so thoughtful. Of all the weddings I've been in myself, this was a first. Seriously, she took care of us the whole day and helped keep us on schedule to get the most out of what mattered to us. Plus, look at her amazing work! It really speaks for itself. She has such a creative eye and pays so much attention to detail that I trust her fully with any event.

    Man, what can I say to sum up the impact Robin made on our wedding.. "Not able to do it without her"... "vision came to life"... "a friend as well as a wedding planner".. We had a Pinterest board and I had personally made an excel chart of what I thought we needed for the wedding of our dreams. What no one tells you about wedding is that there are not a ton of BIG decisions, there are hundreds of "micro-decisions".. Organizing all the vendors, contracts, payment schedule, timeline, seating chart... I couldn't keep up with it. Robin is fantastic at what she does and she always answers the phone and/or shows up with a smile on her face. Nothing is a "big deal" for her and she is good at making recommendations while not telling you what to do. Without going into too much detail, Robin saved my a** more than once, fixing problems that I made when I thought I was helping out. I was the GROOM, so I shouldn't have been doing so much anyways (what do I know) but she was able to realize my wife's vision and match the perfect vendors and people to make it a success. We are SO happy with how everything turned out. There isn't a single thing I am dissatisfied with (outside of my aunt-in-law pissing herself on the leather couch - $75), and I would recommend Robin and her gang of vendors to ANYONE near her in socal. Thanks for making the single most important day of our live's so far absolutely magical!

    We hired Robin and her team to plan and coordinate our daughters wedding and they were amazing. Robin is extremely organized, knowledgable, creative and easy to work with! My daughter had a lot of great ideas and Robin was able to build on her ideas and put together a beautiful wedding and handle all of the details and it went off without a hiccup...during COVID. Her and her staff were extremely flexible and navigated all of the obstacles and challenges that have been imposed because of the Coronavirus without reservation. Robin and her staff put together a wedding and reception that was beyond our expectations and it allowed the bride and groom and everyone involved to truly enjoy the whole experience!     After seeing the amazing job Robin did with my sister's wedding, there was no other option for me when it came to planning my wedding. My sister and I had vastly different styles, but Robin and her team understood exactly what we were going for and designed completely unique but equally beautiful weddings for us both! I was one of those brides who knows what they like, but didn't quite know how to put it all together. Every conversation and email with Robin put me at ease. Her creative eye and knowledge of the industry were HUGE assets to me.     Where do I begin, Robin and her amazing team were simply the best. I wasn't too sure where to start when planning our wedding or if I even needed a wedding planner but THANK GOD we found Robin. I can not thank Robin, Danielle and Brandi enough for everything they did for us for our wedding. Not only did they execute the perfect wedding but they creatively went above and beyond to create a vision that left me and my husband and our guest speechless...we were all in awe! Robin organized all our vendors - and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE VENDORS were so professional, gracious and so so so kind to us and I think it's because of the amazing reputation Robin has. Robin helped/organized all aspects of our wedding from the vendors, to the vision, to the seating chart. Whenever I felt stressed or worried about something she was always available for a quick phone call and sorted out everything I was worried about. Robin was on top of all the planning and figured out all the quotes to ensure we got the best price. She is a wealth of knowledge that allowed me to make informed and confident decisions. I never doubted myself on a decision when I got advice from Robin first. Robin made me feel so welcomed, calm and that secure feeling. Never in my life (because I'm a control freak) have I had that feeling that I didn't need to worry about something UNTIL I met and worked with Robin. Robin constantly gave me that "I got it this" notion and not only did she deliver she knocked it out of the ball park! My husband and I cannot say enough about how amazing Robin and her team were... If I can give any future bride advice... it's to hire Robin!

    Pick Robin for your wedding coordinator and you're guaranteed to be in good hands. From initial contact, Robin was professional and approachable. Her eye for detail is impeccable! She ensured to hit every one of our details that we mentioned on our first meet and it was obvious to all of our guests. Even over a month after our wedding our guests are still raving about our wedding and I'm sure a lot of that is because of Robin. The day truly went off without a hitch. I wish I could replay the day of our wedding over and over as it was truly magical. It's hard to believe people get married without a coordinator as I relied so heavily on Robin. Everything was touched by her expertise...the flowers, the linens, the desserts (donut wall), the DJ...the list goes on. Robin makes sure no stone is left unturned. One thing that is true testimate to Robin's character and level of professionalism is how she has handled a situation with one of our vendors. Even over a month after our wedding Robin is still there, in our corner, making communication with our photo booth guy (which by the way, was NOT her recommendation....sadly, it was our suggestion and has turned out to be our one and only regret). During our wedding, Robin had to (unfortunetly) involve the security team at Rancho Las Lomas as our photo booth attendant brought an unwelcome guest with him. This guest ended up being escorted off of the property as her attire and presence was an eye sore. You want to know when you realize you picked the BEST coordinator? When the dust settles and your able to sit back and go "holy cow, our wedding was PERFECT". We never knew until 3 days after our wedding, that this unwelcome guest was escorted off of the property. Robin made it happen quietly and professionally, because Robin is a class act! Robin has truly gone the extra mile to ensure we are taken care of in this particular situation. If you pick Robin as your coordinator, you will not regret it.

Your team helped me fix my bustle in an instant haha it may seem like a minor detail but if they had not helped i wouldn't have been able to have SO much fun on the dance floor! I truly appreciated all the attention to detail that you girls put into our event. Thank you thank you thank you for everything! I wouldn't change anything, it honestly could not have gone any better!

The makeover consisted of a small amount of eyeshadow, a few face gems, and photos taken with a low-quality photo booth setup that were sent to our phones. As parents, we're happy to pay for experiences that bring our children joy, so the cost itself wasn't the issue. My main concern is with the hair application. The extension braids were attached improperly on both of my daughters using a single bead attached to a very small section of hair. This created significant tension from the weight of the braid and resulted in visible bald spots on both children afterward. Children's hair is much more delicate than adult hair, and techniques that place excessive tension on the scalp should be avoided. There are safer methods for attaching braids to children's hair, such as incorporating more hair into the attachment or braiding the extension into the natural hair rather than suspending the entire weight from a tiny section. I believe this demonstrates a lack of proper training and care when working with children's hair. Parents should be aware of the potential risk of hair damage before booking this experience. While my daughters enjoyed the mermaid theme, I was extremely disappointed to see damage to their hair as a result.

I booked Adina I believe in 2018 and she is not only professional but she is sweet, humble, and genuine. She worked with us every step and hurdle the pandemic caused. Meaning canceled venues, pushed wedding dates, special requests and even changed wedding design. I can't relay enough of my gratitude to her and her team. When the day of happened all that I dreamed of came to life. She worked with our budget and was realistic with us on what was worth getting to achieve the look and experience we wanted on our special day. All of our guests not only loved the venue, which is one of the exclusive venues of Event Loft, but they said the food and staff were impeccable. We have guests that continue to tell us that the venue was a gem to find and that everything was well scheduled. We booked everything with Event loft, except for the DJ and sofreh designer. She was very kind to the other vendors and helped them when needed. We have the most memorable photos, video and the flowers were beautiful and excellent quality. I couldn't imagine not having Adina and her team working our wedding. I simply can't thank them enough.

We followed up to see what wedding planning packages she had and safe to say this was the best decision made. Eliza, Tammy + Team provided the full service for our wedding. We hired them for planning, design, coordination, rentals, and florals and it made life so much easier. I had the best experience with Eliza and team with our weekly meetings for a few months to align on all the details. She understand and appreciated our mixed cultural background and how we wanted to incorporate elements of this for a Persian and Vietnamese wedding. I have always heard wedding planning to be stressful but safe to say my experience was the best and the day of the wedding went beautifully. Nothing ever goes to plan and I'm really happy Eliza and her team are experienced enough to adjust to last minutes changes such as guest no shows, etc. She captured our vision perfectly and I'm already thinking of future events I would plan with Bel Events again!

    Horrible experience, stay away!…read more This is a review for Eliza at BEL Events for her wedding planning services. We met Eliza at our venue 8 month before our wedding date. During the first session she presented herself well, and she talked and bragged a lot about her 18 yrs of experience in event planning and stories about how she handles wedding situations. So, we thought she is the right event planner for us and signed a contract. After signing the contract and making the payment, she was very hard to find and we did not see the expected action from her side, and every time we followed up, her response was: "don't worry I will manage everything before the wedding day". We were asking for the basics of planning such as timeline, vendor recommendations (a few to choose from) and communications (which was part of the contract) but not no action except a quote of her own rental service. We were getting closer to the wedding date and her lack of action made us so worried and very frustrated. Eventually we had to get involved and did almost 90% of the work ourselves. She was very hard to find but even when we could talk to her, she would create more unnecessary problems to an extant that my wife had panic attacks after a few meetings we had with her. 2 month before our wedding she caused so much anxiety and frustration that we decided to end our contract with her and find another planner. Thankfully, our new planner was amazing and our Wedding planning went very smooth after that, and the event was as wonderful as we could imagine! With way lower cost than what Eliza had proposed! After I requested to cancel the contract she disappeared and never responded to our emails, which is very unprofessional. Here is a list of a few issues from our experience of working with here: 1- Accessibility: every time we had a question or needed to talk to her, it was taking several days until she gets back to us. With irrelevant excuses, like she would show me her busy google calendar! 2- Push to use her own services as vendors: Per her contract she had to suggest different vendors so we can choose. But since she has rental and flower services, she was arguing so much to stop us from even looking at other options! She charges unnecessarily expensive! By doing a little research, we found our vendors and saved at least 50% with same or better quality! 3- Nonsense arguments and rude attitude: In many occasions she was just insisting on holding the event the way SHE wants, without paying attention to our request or desire. Every time we requested something, her answer was: "I don't want MY event to be that way or I don't want MY guests to be that way"!!! With a condescending attitude emphasizing that "I have 18 yrs of experience and I know what to do"!!! Any simple request would become a long story and unnecessary argument. In one occasion my wife requested that guests throw flower petals while walking out of aisle, and she immediately said: "No!, you can't do that, I don't want my cleaning crew spend time on cleaning the petals"!!!! In another occasion Eliza was insisting on only using her recommended valet service (which was quoting more than double the price of the service we eventually used) and on top of it she was forcing us to rent extra parking lot out of venue and pay extra for shuttle service!!!! While the venue had enough capacity! And when I respectfully said: I am confident that the venue has enough capacity for parking, she got very angry and said: "in that case tell all your guests to use UBER and they can't drive their own car"!!! It was a nightmare working with BEL Events and I don't recommend her service due to lack of professionalism and decency in her business.

One thing that would be helpful would be the communication after requesting and placing a deposit. Everything was done online via email, but I would have loved to actually speak or text with a live representative during that time and after they asked for the final payment before the actual day. They also asked for a tip prior to the day, but we opted to tip on the day because again, I had already paid for the entire experience before the experience. Thanking God it all worked out!

I'm just wondering what Oceanside parks (not on sand) you are allowed to host on assuming 8-10 people. PC: I apologize I am not familiar with the city of Oceanside. I think just googling the parks would be your best bet for finding a location Me: Oops sorry I mean ocean side - meaning anywhere in San Diego. Any park that's near an ocean. PC: The only one I am familiar with is South Embarcadero Park Me: Ok so I guess then my question is do you have suggested locations? Or do I research and propose that? Where are you typically hosting picnics I mean? It seems there's a lot of rules so I can't figure out what is and isn't allowed. PC: I think you have to pick a place and then call about that specific place is how it works. Me: Ok no thanks looking to pay someone to do that legwork for me. Thanks. PC: Happy to do that for you. We offer location scouting which we charge $499 for this I was surprised at the price to provide me a list of allowable locations. So I pinged another company to see if they had a list of sites. I got a reply in 5 min with a list of locations that only the county allows. It's a very short list and easily posted online by county. Picnic collective charging you $500 to send this list is a scam and also you should seriously second guess they don't know or supply this to you with your inquiry. When I brought this to PC attention, instead of acknowledging the feedback - they proceeded to engage in a combative back and forth with me. I wonder how many suckers they've gotten for this $500. They're other untrustworthy & ripping people off or unknowledgable. The pure fact they wanted to argue with me on this simple issue was also indicative of what might have happened running a large event with them in recognizing a mistake. Be very careful committing thousands of dollars to an event with them and the county kicking your event out.

It has been her favorite movie since she was 2 years old. I searched everywhere but couldn't find any party company offering these characters the way I imagined. I had previously worked with Creative Kids Parties for a Christmas party, so I decided to call them again. I was lucky enough to speak directly with the owner, Lisa. At first, she told me they didn't have those characters available, so I went ahead and booked Donald Duck and thought Minnie would be a great addition. But just a few hours later, Lisa called me back with the most incredible news -- her team was willing to create custom costumes for Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy just for my daughter's party! I was beyond excited -- truly over the moon. Lisa handled everything with such care, attention, and professionalism. She went above and beyond -- even attending the party herself to make sure everything ran smoothly. That level of dedication is rare and so appreciated. The characters -- Donald Duck and his assistants, along with Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy -- did an absolutely UNBELIEVABLE job. The kids were completely engaged, happy, and entertained the entire time. It truly felt magical. Lisa supported me so much throughout the process -- I honestly couldn't have done it without her. Her team is respectful, responsible, and clearly experienced in working with children. I will absolutely continue working with Lisa and her team in the future.
