I just LOVE Suzie's vibe. I reached out to Suzie looking for hair styling and she was sweet enough to fit me into her schedule that weekend. Had an event on Sunday afternoon- I wanted curls galore and she delivered. We chatted it up the whole time and when I got to my event, I received so may complements. Later that week, some colleagues and I went for dinner and drinks- and yes, I went right back to Suzie for her to curl my hair all over again. My wife and I are extremely grateful and fortunate to have found Suzie and her husband Teven to capture our wedding day! We had initially hired another professional photography company but through a recommendation of a friend also hired Suzie and are we ever so lucky we did! The initial photographer we hired messed up pretty badly and if it weren't for Suzie and Teven we would have very little captured of our day. We hired Suzie as our make up artist and Teven as our backup photographer. Suzie was very friendly, responsive and professional throughout and afterwards. Her prices are very reasonable and she was willing to work with us within our budget. Teven did an amazing job with the photos! As our 2nd/backup photographer he took pictures of all our events as well as a few extra ones of our guests and the beautiful scenic backgrounds from the venue; some of which were entirely missed by our main photographer. We really should have made him our main photographer! If only we had found Suzie earlier we would definitely have asked her to be our wedding coordinator too as handling it ourselves was pretty hectic. My husband and and I hired Suzie and her team for pre-wedding pictures. Her studio has photography, make-up and wedding decoration services. Suzie is very helpful and patient. Her husband Teven also provide very good photography service! What I really appreciate is Suzie has a lot of ideas for pictures taken and dress alteration. I purchased one of my dresses from Amazon and the neck part came as too low. I was very upset the dress might not work. After seeing the pictures, Suzie volunteered and searched around to find flower lace to cover the front. After the alteration, my dress looks much more beautiful! I was trying to save money by doing my own center piece for my wedding and I even bought my own vases and had an exact design in mind. Three weeks before the wedding I realized that I had way too many logistics to take care of and didn't have the time to do my own center piece two day before the wedding. I had a budget of a Coca Cola with the taste of Champagne. I asked around some freelance florist and see if they can do 27...yes you read it right 27 centerpiece with the tight budget that i had. There was no luck, everyone quoted me $500 more than my budget. I decided to try my luck by searching for a florist on Craiglist and that is how i found Suzie. To be honest, I was very hesitant at first, because I thought she was not a professional florist, but I decided to give Suzie a call anyway after visiting her website. I wish she could've posted her Yelp page on Craiglist since she has so many good reviews on Yelp. I did not know she has an Yelp page until we signed the contract. I am soooo glad I did, because after talking to her, she knew exact what kind of design I want and to top it off, she suggested adding extra accent flowers to add a touch of glam. Suzie was able to keep the price reasonable and she even came all the way to my house to pick up my vases. Again, finding a vendor on Craiglist is definitely nerve racking but I believed in Suzie's skill set.On my wedding day, I finally get to see the centerpiece on my wedding day, and they were absolutely beautiful, more beautiful than I imagined. Friends who took my centerpiece home after the wedding day raved about how fresh the flowers are after two weeks... YES... two weeks. My only regret was that I didn't find Suzie earlier. I think I would've saved a lot more money if I found her earlier. Suzie also offers a lot of other wedding services, but by the time I found her I pretty much booked all my vendors already In conclusion, ladies... lets face it, wedding is ridiculously expensive and if you ever talk to those florist with fancy website and Instagram, I assure you their price are high up in the sky. If you are looking for someone to do your floral arrangements, Suzie may be the person you are looking for. She was willing to work through a budget with me to create a wedding arch that I wanted, which turned out to be a great touch to our wedding. However, I would NOT recommend Suzie for wedding coordination. I recently got married and being a planner myself, I was really hoping to find someone who will take my worries away the day of my wedding so I can really enjoy the day. Through several email exchanges we had, probably 3-4 email threads, I have mentioned at least once that I would like to have flower petals in the aisle during the ceremony. The day of, my friends had let me know that she told everyone I had cancelled it and no one proceeded with looking for the flower petals that were delivered to the venue. In addition to the flowers (or lack thereof), she pointed fingers at me saying that I was changing things last minute and not letting her know at least 24 hours ahead of time. IN REALITY, we had a phone call a few weeks before the wedding, in which a lot of the details were finalized already. When we met right after my rehearsal, day before the wedding, it was a reiteration and going over the itinerary once more. That night, I sent her one last email for her convenience because she had wanted to see some of the items like floor plans and examples of set up. She had thought I changed some things last minute, but REALLY, all the items I mentioned in that email were already on the itinerary LONG before we even met in person that day before the wedding. The last email was a reminder, and for me to put everything as attachments for her convenience. Mind you, in that email was a picture of the flower petals on the aisle (in addition to the fact that this was a requirement that I told her MULTIPLE TIMES), so how did I cancel it? She can't even say that she did not read the email because in that email, I specifically asked her to also print out itineraries for my help crew, and she responded saying that she ran out of ink and was not able to do so. So she MUST have read that email AND yet she managed to say that I cancelled that specific flower petal task? During the evening of the reception, she asked me one question and I did not see her for the rest of the night. My MOHs and Bridesmaids ended up having to pick up her slack and do her job for her. She never once checked in with me to either give me an update or to keep us on schedule. We ended up not doing two to three of the activities we wanted to do that night because we were so delayed. I had to then cue my own activities because she was nowhere to be seen. Her response to my feedback was NOT apologetic at all. She kept dodging responsibility, and said, "YOU got more photos in exchange for what you couldn't accomplish. You had the right to say no to the Photo session." She even had the audacity to mention that my friends were just as "clueless" - I hired Suzie to do the job; my friends were helping me out of their good hearts. They were looking to her for guidance and she did not provide that. Overall, I felt stressed having to basically coordinate my own wedding when I had hired someone to do this. Suzie lacks attention to detail even though I had a very detailed itinerary on instructions and action items. I wish she was more assertive in communicating more with me instead of making assumptions. Good luck. read more

Suzie did an amazing job with the flowers at my wedding. We met once before the wedding and went over pricing and my colors/style. She was very responsive via email before the wedding and sent me a lot of pictures of the types of flowers she was looking to get based on my pictures/ideas. She was able to the marsala-colored flowers (more of a fall color) in April. The flowers looked gorgeous and exactly how I wanted them. Her prices are very reasonable and the quality of her work is very impressive. She even put up the draping for the gazebo at the ceremony. She came on time and had everything ready to go. Suzie was a lifesaver! I hired Suzie as my day of wedding coordinator. Leading up to the wedding, my husband and I had planned the majority of the wedding on our own. However, a few months before the wedding I started to get into a panic, wondering who would make sure that everything ran on time and as planned while we were also trying to enjoy our wedding. That's where Suzie came in. Before the wedding, Suzie met with me and went over my wedding plans and schedule. She was very knowledgable, as there were some timing issues that I was having trouble sorting out. With her vast experiences of weddings, she knew how much time to schedule for everything. She also asked me about a few details that I hadn't even thought of. On the day of the wedding, Suzie helped set up our DIY decor and everything looked wonderful. She ran everything on time and stayed to help clean up all the decorations and gifts at the end of the night. She is a champion! Suzie's pricing was also very reasonable. My mother is initially thought that it was redundant of me to hire a day of coordinator, when she and her sisters were around. However, at the end of the wedding my mom told me that hiring Suzie was one the best wedding decisions. She and my aunts were able to let loose and enjoy the wedding! We did all the planning ourselves to save money, but as the day got closer, we realized there are just too many details we are not going to be able to deal with on the wedding day. And since we did not want to trouble our friends, we decided to hire Suzie. On our wedding day, she set up our registration/gift table, helped with other decorations, coordinated between our various vendors, and constantly checked on us to make sure we have everything we need or if we needed to pass any messages to any vendors. I contacted Suzie on a Friday asking for a quote for some of the floral pieces for my wedding. She gave it to me the same day (it came to $900). I also wanted some draping for our wedding arch and she suggested I ask my wedding coordinator if she could install the drapes as there would be an added cost if Suzie herself had to install it. I said I'd find out and get back to her. My wedding coordinator got back to me on Sunday and I emailed Suzie with the information and said I was ready to move forward. She then responded (at 2:45AM!) that her husband had just booked her a "surprise" trip and she wouldn't be available to do the floral pieces for my wedding after all. When I told her I felt like this was a little unprofessional, she responded with a long rant telling me she doesn't do things for less than $1000 (even though her original quote was $900 AND I had giver her the heads up that I might try to do some of the items myself) and calling me entitled. She might be cheaper than other vendors but she's extremely unprofessional and tacky in her approach with clients.
