But I can't help it, when I walk past dandelion flowers the bouquets are so beautiful and they have price ranges that are perfect and enable me to keep a fresh bouquet in my kitchen. And each one is so beautiful in little distinct ways that I end up trying new flowers. Then ... you walk inside the store. and you just wanna hang out there. It's so beautiful and cozy and warm and the owners are so deeply kind and just radiate light and you walk away feeling like you just got a hug. Updated review. I did not know Dandelion had moved from Park Street to this location on Webster Street, which is closer to my home. This business is still wonderful with the flowers, plants, bath and beauty products. What I have mentioned in the previous review still stands. I've been into the Webster store front and there are some cute gift items and cards in there. When I ordered I did everything online for delivery the next day. Super easy. I came in one time, when she was over on Park Street, to pick up some flowers for my love not realizing it was the day before Mother's Day. I was told by one of the staff they were really busy and weren't really able to take walk-in orders. Karim comes around the corner, takes one look at me, and says, "Oh, here a regular" and on goes to make me a small bouquet on the spot. Doesn't get more local than that. I am amazed by the flowers I purchased for my partner's mother. Being in Sacramento and with little to no knowledge of the Alameda area, I have been on the hunt to find a local florist offering delivery for fresh flowers in the Bay Farm area. UPDATE: I updated to 3 stars. Reached out and requested a full refund and was given it immediately. Still disappointed with the service, a simple phone call could have prevented this. They seem to have beautiful flower arrangements but would not recommend ordering online, I would go in person or call to insure you receive what you want, flowers are a very personal thing. VERY disappointed with my order. The arrangement that was delivered didn't look ANYTHING like what I ordered online. I understand that during the current situation they may be short on certain flowers but better customer service is still expected. No phone call to give me options, just sent what they wanted. I wanted bright & cheery, they sent old and frumpy, these flowers were not for Mother's Day although they look like it. Don't recommend ordering online, call to ensure you get what you want. Further, what I ordered was a little more expensive than I wanted to spend but was willing to do so since the arrangement was so unique looking, what was received wasn't very unique looking! I have been gifted Dandelion florals many times in the past, so they were my go-to choice for the bouquet I needed today! This was my first time ever visiting the shop. The shop is small and very cold, but this is a good thing! The coziness of the shop meant you were surrounded by beautiful flowers, and of course it needs to be cold to keep them as fresh as possible. A woman with a beautiful smile greeted me warmly from behind the counter. I explained I was looking for a bouquet in the 30-40 dollar price range and that I was in a bit of a hurry. She asked if I wanted something bright or soft, and what the occasion was. I told her a friend of mine is saying Goodbye to their dog. She nodded sympathetically. "Definitely something softer," she said. In a matter of minutes she crafted a stunning bouquet! Soft pinks, whites and blush tones with lots of texture, all while holding a pleasant conversation with me. I normally don't like to bother people when they're working, especially when I add pressure of asking for something quick, but she was so skilled in her art, you could tell this was second nature! After tax, I paid $44. In my past experience working with small business floral arrangements, this price was right on the money, especially for flowers I know will last at least a week. My Valentine bouquet lasted almost two weeks! And I'm still enjoying the eucalyptus and some of the firmer green elements since they dry nicely without crumbling :) I thanked her for her lovely work and learned her name was Karim. I've only purchased flowers as gifts from here because my Ms. knows where they're from and they're just a bit more special. Such a lovely store! My heart beat started to increase as I approached the entry way that also housed other little shops. It was very European decorated with small chairs and tables and painted image of the Eiffel Tower. Ceilings streaming with lights! Every part of the store was intentionally put together exuberant in romance. I found a beautiful selection of vintage lingerie and so many aromatic soaps and cremes. I had to buy the Wildflower bar of soap but it took a long time to choose. I will be coming back and looking again for some lingerie and bars of soap! She told me to have fun as I started my journey of selecting flowers for my home bouquet. So I did! I chose whichever stem spoke to my joy! I paid an amount of $36 or $37 for my unique bouquet and big bar of the Wildflower soap. These flowers are still sitting on my dining room table maybe 3 weeks later sparking happiness every time I walk by. I happened upon this shop through some local research, never have even noticed the marketing board in the past. It was months ago when I wandered in a boutique and the only thing that caught my eye were the bouquet of flowers. I had to find Dandelion and get my hands on my own frondescence. The past couple weeks I had Karim create a custom cactus arrangement, picked up a bouquet for a weekend trip in the mountains and of course my sticky fingers had to grab a few $5 bargains! Everything has been tasteful, modern and met with the superior service of Karim and her team. Let them know what you need or give it your personal touch by hand selecting your own stems. Felt like I was in a market in Europe. They are so detailed, from the thoughtfully presented displays, to the whimsical blue and white string tying your flowers.
