I cannot say thank you enough to Lee's Discount Florist. Thank you, thank you for doing such a beautiful job on the flowers for my dad's celebration of life. Here we are three days later and the flowers are still so beautiful as if I just received them today. I will always purchase any event flowers from Lee's. You guys are awesome. When the delivery arrived no one had made it to the church yet to receive the delivery, however the delivery driver called me and asked how I wanted to proceed with the delivery. I told him to leave somewhere and I would get them when I arrived. The delivery driver made sure to place them in a safe spot and took a photo and sent it to me. I feel like he went above and beyond. Great customer service.

It is Fri 1/23 (2pm) when I'm writing this review (they delivered it 1 day early), simply because they called and church said they can deliver it now. Why listen to a random person at the church and not the customer who is paying for the order (and list the instructions on delivery date/time)? In addition, flowers arrived already wilted. Flower arrangements will look worse by tomorrow (actual day of the service). They have lost a customer, WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING NOR DO WE RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE TO SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. Esp since we called to complain and they refused to accept any responsibility for the quality of the flower arrangements and delivery issue.
Lee's Discount Florist was a great find! When browsing and comparing other florists, I noticed another Teleflor florist offered the same arrangements online but at a higher rate. The selections were good and I found the perfect Sympathy Zen Artistry flower arrangement for the family who are Japanese. The arrangement was very beautiful and maybe had more flowers than as pictured on the website. Their customer service was great too. I ordered online and followed up with a phone call because I forgot to mention something in my comments. They answered the phone quickly and followed through. The arrangement was delivered the next day as ordered. Lees Discount Florist is definitely a good value! I will be ordering from them again the next time I need to send flowers

After being a loyal customer for over 25 years I really hate to do this, but I must amend my previous review. They are under new management and the quality and the customer service has suffered because of it. I typically order multiple arrangements for Mother's Day Thanksgiving and Christmas always choosing a Teleflora arrangement because they are one of their recommended florist. This year, however the arrangement that I selected looked nothing like the picture that I paid for. When I called the shop to let them know about it I was met with very rude resistance. The gentleman on the phone insisted that what he delivered is what I paid for. He rudely said that he would pick up the arrangements and refund me which he could do if they were just for me, but they were gift gifts for other people. I find this extremely distressing because I fried myself on supporting local businesses in my area I'm gonna post the pictures and you let me know what you think. By the way, what is pictured is the standard size? It's not the deluxe or the premium.
Both people were very kind and helpful in creating two beautiful bouquets! I decided to walk in for a gift, and was so impressed with the first arrangement I got another just for myself. Again, very kind and talented people. I will be back!
Wow I'm very impressed by this florist! I needed a last minute sympathy flower arrangement and gave them the price range I wanted to stay in and when I picked it up I was amazed at what a beautiful arrangement they made! The arrangement is absolutely gorgeous. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely come here again. You definitely get your money's worth from here.

The quality & aroma of each flower is always right on target, the detail they put into arranging their bouquets, & most importantly, their overall consistency. Lee's flower shop has consistently provided TOP notch service/ flowers for over a 10 + years to me. You will not find a better flower shop than Lees in the East bay; or perhaps anywhere. This place is capable of whatever you desire - and doing it in the most finest of ways.
Came in here and asked for a bouquet. Gave her my price range and she put together a beautiful bouquet. She even put it in some kind of water container wrapped inside the paper cover since I told her I was giving it to a friend in a few hours to keep the flowers hydrated. Definitely coming back here for future bouquets!
Looking for a florist on Grand Avenue in Oakland try Lee's. They are tucked into the middle of the block on the west side of Grand. Across street from Vacuum and Beauty store. The ladies ( sisters) always do a beautiful job! See the attached beautiful arrangement for a friend's birthday today.
I called to order a dozen roses with some babies breath yesterday and she told me $75.00 + tax. I know this is a major floral holiday, but ripping off your faithful in a pandemic is not a good look. I went around the corner to Safeway and bought a dozen roses, babies breath and foliage for $30. And had it arranged. I'll continue to support them, but this was not it.
Great service! I called about a week in advance to make sure I can get a bouquet by graduation weekend and when I went to pick it up, the bouquet was beautiful! They did great putting it together within my budget and the color I requested, as well as letting me know they put in water bags to make sure it stays fresh within the 24 hours before the ceremony. 10/10 would highly recommend!
Love this place. I am a loyal customer to the Lee sisters. They have yet to let me down. There was one incident where I called in to place an order days in advance but they overlooked it. But they were able to get me a bouquet and deliver it same day a few hours later. Just recently I called and they were able to fill my order day of. Beautiful bouquets, make sure you tell them the color scheme you're interested in or what occasion. Very reasonably priced, I will always be back!!

Really great service as I asked for a quick bouquet, had to get to the airport. $40 bucks later I walked out with some artistry. Shop local, support small business, and this is now my go-to flower shop!! read more
I'm so glad I found this place. Lee's Discount Florist is a hidden gem located at 3219 Grand Ave. Across from the Grand Lake Theatre. Great flowers for really good prices. So hard to find value places like this in the world anymore. And really nice service. Just walk in, pick flowers and they'll make an arrangement for you. read more
Lee's is my favorite local flower shop. Providing perfect bouquets every time reasonable prices. They always have varieties of colors available and give you the option to choose a specific color scheme along with price range for your bouquet. They do take walk ins regularly however, make sure to call and book in advance on special days like Valentine's Day and especially Mother's Day! read more

We were referred to Lee's Discount Florist through a Reddit search and we are so glad we went with them for flowers for my father in laws memorial. The flowers arrived exactly as they looked on their website. The prices were so reasonable and we went in person to request table flowers as well to complement the main bouquet. We gave our budget and they easily worked within that budget to create beautiful matching flowers. We were nervous because we ordered them on a Monday for a Sunday service. She was so helpful and friendly at the shop. On Sunday exactly at the agreed upon time, they delivered the flowers and set them up for us. They were fresh and beautiful and made our memorial so perfect. Highly recommend. read more
I absolutely LOVE this place and will always recommend it to friends. Went to get flowers for my mother's birthday and Amy asked for my budget and preferred color palette. For about $35, I was able to get a huge and beautiful bouquet. The arrangements are incredible and wrapped beautifully as well. I was looking for a nearby florist and saw Lee's had 5 stars even with nearly 250 reviews! I called same day, a few hours before and they did an amazing job. They were super friendly and asked for my budget & if I wanted it wrapped in paper or with a vase. If I opted for a vase, then some of my budget would go towards that but I chose for it to be wrapped in paper to have the budget go 100% towards the bouquet. I told them what the occasion was for and they executed it perfectly. I'll definitely be back! read more

Needed flowers for a funeral service and opted for Lee's based off of Yelp reviews and the accessibility of their website. The woman I spoke with in the phone was very helpful , knowledgeable and interested in bringing my vision to life. With my vision and her knowledge the arrangements were absolutely perfect. I was sent an invoice, we paid and the flowers were delivered at the perfect time. I appreciated the freshness and the fullness of the arrangements. I called the day of super last minute about 2 hours before I needed the flowers and they were able to accommodate me! I was planning to buy flowers from trader joes and arrange them myself but I'm no pro so I decided to splurge a little bit more for something that's more presentable. They first started asking me what kind of price point I was looking for and I told them around $40. They then asked me what color flowers I would like and if certain flowers would be ok to be included in the bouquet. There's plenty of parking around the shop but it's metered so make sure to pay, it's also on a busy street so just keep that in mind. The bouquet itself was HUGE, for $40 it was definitely so worth it. The flowers were super fresh and lasted a really long time. I've paid more at other places that could not compare to Lee's. I will definitely be ordering more bouquets here in the future! read more

Ordered two flower arrangements for a relative's funeral. From a brief research of florists in the area, Lee's Discount Florist had slightly better prices. The ordering process was very easy as you can do everything online. After I placed my order, a very nice lady called to follow up to make sure everything was right. On the day of the funeral, the flowers arrived on time as promised. The flowers were done very nicely just like the photos online. They were also nicer than the other flower arrangements ordered by other relatives from elsewhere. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Also, it seems like they charged a flat delivery fee(just one single delivery fee for both arrangements). Thus, it might make sense to coordinate with relatives and order everything together. read more

I ordered flowered for my friends birthday and was so surprised at what she received! I ordered their surprise of the day so I didn't know what the gift would look like, but based on all the positive reviews of this florist, I just went for it and trusted that the bouquet wouldn't be a just few tiny flowers in a tiny vase. I've purchased many flowers from them in the past but never had the chance to write a review. They absolutely deserve many stars! All of my previous orders were made over-the-phone because I don't live locally and every time, they deliver my arrangements just exactly how I would describe to them. I've included photos of the birthday bouquet and sympathy wreath which were magnificently beautiful. Their prices are much affordable and delivery service is excellent! I definitely love how efficient this place is! It was my first time ordering flowers from here but they made it so simple. I called a few days in advance to order a mixed bouquet for my sister's birthday. I told them my desired color theme and $40 budget and got exactly what I ordered, if not better. I couldn't contain my excitement giving my sis these flowers so I appreciate these ladies so much for creating such a beautiful bouquet. I did the research and decided on this florist When my grandfather passed away 2 years ago I went here to order flowers for his funeral. The owner was so helpful and organized I felt at ease. She also saved me some money by suggesting using a few flowers that were in season that met my color options...I'm very particular. She also helped me with picking the colors too. I didn't like the stock photo pieces so we selected each flower by hand- color, type and size. She also helped me pick the perfect size for the piece and the style too (round), and help me figure out the best way to write the name and date on the ribbon. My family wanted something grand and beautiful - on the day of service the flowers arrived early at the funeral home. (One fewer thing for us to worry about). I was very happy with her service from the beginning to the end and will always go here for any occasion. I will always support a family owned business over any big business.
