My husband and I got married in June 2025, and it was such an honor to have Ms. Young and her team as our wedding florist. They did an AMAZING job, and made the whole process so smooth. When we first contacted Ms. Young, we had no idea what kind of floral decorations we wanted, what kinds of centerpieces were out there, etc. And Ms. Young walked us through that process, showed us some inspo arrangements and examples, and helped us narrow down to what kind of style we wanted for our wedding (the floral color scheme, bud vases for rectangular tables, the floral arch style, etc). As our wedding date approached, if we wanted to make changes to the floral color scheme, they were so flexible to accommodate our request. We also had an open wedding, so we were constantly re-evaluating our guest list and # of tables (and floral centerpieces we needed) - and they were so kind enough to be accommodating to any changes that happened on our end. We also didn't have an official wedding venue (we used our church courtyard), so we had no idea how to make use of the space we were given and where to put the sweetheart table and the guest tables - and Ms. Young offered her professional opinion on where the tables would look best and most aesthetically pleasing. This helped our reception layout a lot! The day of the wedding, the florals turned out so beautiful!! They helped us work within our budget to make our dream wedding reception come true. My husband and I had our wedding on June 2023 and we hired EVENTS BY YOUNG for our floral arrangement. It was a June wedding and our venue was in Sonoma wine country, so the flowers has to be on point. To summarize, the flowers were on point. They are so nice to work with, they have a lot of decor items and props to help showcase the flowers, and their flowers really elevated every part of our wedding venue scenery. For our May wedding earlier this year, we had the opportunity to work with Young and Nichole for our wedding flowers. The first time I saw Young's beautiful work was when I was a bridesmaid for one of my best friend's wedding in 2016. Of course, 2 years later when we decided to tie the knot, I asked my friend for Young's contact information! I inquired with a couple of other florists just to compare but knew that I was going to work with Young! She was attentive and answered my millions of questions especially since I had no knowledge of flowers and basically just showed her all the photos I saved via IG and Pinterest during our first meeting. Young and Nichole went above and beyond for our wedding and given the fact that I did not use a wedding planner, they almost felt like my wedding planner/designer/florist, "all of the above"! :) They even came with me to visit the venue to scope out what it looked like so we can plan in advance. I was in constant communication with both of them and sent them endless photos for wedding extras and decor to see if it would match the venue and the flowers. Annie and Young were exceptional, talented, and wonderful to work with. They created some magic with succulents for our wedding, including boutonnieres, table top decorations with mercury vases, and larger arrangements for our sweet heart tables and ceremony walkway. They also decorated our wedding cake with succulent pieces that became the talk of the party. Young was so easy to work with and accommodated our budget and also last minute requests. Young truly made my wedding look so magical with her floral design - she exceeded all of my expectations and made our venue look like an absolute dream! I also had her prepare my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, groom & groomsmen boutonnieres, and mothers' corsages, which all perfectly enhanced what everyone was wearing and brought cohesion to the wedding party. As a shorter bride I asked her for a petite bridal bouquet and she executed it perfectly. She also created a dreamy arch for our ceremony and sweetheart table, and created the most unique and thoughtful centerpieces for each table. Our venue was a pretty blank white warehouse, but her flowers filled it up perfectly and made it feel warm and intimate. I kept getting so many compliments on our wedding colors and flowers. She took my very simple vision and listened carefully, but also went above and beyond - my jaw dropped when I walked into the venue for the first time on my wedding day because she made it look even better than I could have ever imagined. Young and her team are incredibly experienced and know how to use florals to enhance any type of venue - she's the one who recommended taller centerpieces due to our venue's high ceilings, and those ended up being my favorite element of our wedding decorations. I didn't want anything too extravagant, but looking back at my wedding photos I'm so glad that I had a florist as talented as her to make all the memories and moments look extra beautiful. She's also extremely responsive and was easy, kind, and pleasant to work with throughout the whole planning process. I had the pleasure of working with Young and Reya for my wedding. I first found out about Events by Young through my sister on her wedding and fell in love with how she had brought my sister's wedding to life with her flowers! I wanted her to do the same for my wedding so I contacted her. I had no idea what to expect when contacting a florist but she made the process so easy. She asked if there were any photos of inspiration, a color theme, and what I was envisioning for my wedding overall. I gave her some of the photos that had inspired me as well as my gown and the venue site. With this information, Young was able to creatively put together a lovely english garden style flower arrangement for my wedding/reception. Young and Reya were both very easy to work with and quick with responding to inquiries. They were willing to come out and see both the wedding and the reception venues to go over in person how the layout of the flowers would look like. We've made a few alterations along the way but they were willing to work with me and accommodating to my needs and wants. Once we had pretty much finalized all the logistics and details of the flowers, however, there were some major last minute changes to my wedding guests and the layout of my reception floor that would have thrown any florist off-guard. But, Young was so understanding and quick on her feet to make changes and alterations to the flowers accordingly. I absolutely loved how the flowers turned out for my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets at my wedding, but the flowers that were set up in my reception hall were just breathtaking! We had handmade ceramic candle lights that accompanied the flower centerpieces, but Young went above and beyond to make the reception venue extraordinarily grand by adding her special touch of taper candles and some centerpiece flowers on high-risers. read more

I had less than a month to plan a micro wedding and my mom actually referred her as she took part in a floral arrangement class that Young taught. I trusted my moms judgement and the floral arrangements were the last thing on my mind. After showing Young what type of style I was going for (tropical island/boho) she immediately showed me pictures of what she was thinking. It was right on point!! Although, I wasn't able to take advantage of using her for a full on wedding/event, I was so grateful that she was able to do my bouquet, hair piece, small floral arrangements that we used around the Airbnb where our reception took place and getting us the pampas and eucalyptus for us to arrange for the beach ceremony. After inquiring a few florists, I chose Events by Young to do my flowers for my wedding after seeing her work at a friend's wedding and seeing photos of her work. Flowers are something you won't really know how they will look until the day of and I was thrilled to see how lovely all my flowers and decorations came out! I didn't even ask for aisle decor and she did that for me and they were so lovely! Not only that, she lent me cake and dessert stands for my dessert bar and even decorated my cake! I sent her a few sample photos of what I liked and told her to just decorate however she wanted and omg I freakin love how my cake looked! Working with Young and her team was easy. I just sent her photos of what I liked and she worked with my budget. I didn't have an exact vision either and she was able to execute something amazing from the photos I sent her. Months before my wedding Young event went to do a site tour of my venue in San a Ramon so that she could get a better feel of the place. This was very thoughtful. I can't express how thankful I am to have met Young!! She made my small outdoor lawn event into what actually felt like a real wedding. She was so flexible with all the updates on COVID restrictions that the county put in place, and the end result was phenomenal. I don't know what I would have done without Young! Planning a wedding was something I was not looking forward to but since day 1, Young helped me walk through all the pieces that make up a wedding--a wedding theme, color scheme, flower details, centerpieces and everything else that comes with a wedding. Nichole decorated my daughter's dol (first birthday Korean celebration). I showed her a few photos from Pinterest I liked and she helped my vision become reality. She prepared my daughter's birthday, doljabi, and photo/welcoming tables. All of my guests were very impressed by the decor.
