That was really interesting for me because I've never seen a chiropractor before then! The first visit was about 45 minutes including my wait time. Every other doctor always makes you wait forever! But I was seen right away and he answered all the questions I had. We scheduled a return visit to go over the findings from the x-ray I had to get done. After getting my x-rays, I came back for a second visit. During that visit he went over everything in detail and helped me set up a weekly treatment plan with him. Perhaps Dr. Nadel is a good doctor. I haven't really gotten a chance to know, as his office is so poorly run that twice they have canceled appointments at the last minute. This is twice out of 4 times! I initially booked with his colleague, Dr. Avdiu. The initial visit was cancelled the day before with only a voicemail that I should call them to reschedule, and I wasn't able to be seen for another week. When I went in, I saw Dr. Avdiu, who was personable and professional, but at the END of the appointment, she informed me that she would not be my doctor (!) and that going forward I would be seeing Dr. Nadel, since she was leaving the practice. I was gobsmacked, and thought that it was in such bad faith to move forward with the appointment and the consultation knowing that she would no longer be part of this practice, and foisting another Doctor upon me! The front desk receptionist was incredibly rude, just really not personable in any way, and argued with me about my insurance plan. I let her know that I don't have a copay, and she said "We'll see. Many patients THINK they know about their plans, but I will find out when I call." Then she spent 5 minutes arguing with me about it. (I called my insurance prior to making the initial booking). Rather than simply calling my insurance carrier right then and there to find out, she insisted on charging me a $50 "hold" until the next visit. Given that I'm in fairly bad pain, I went ahead and agreed to see Dr. Nadel for ongoing appointments. At the next appointment, I showed up on time, and the receptionist was sitting there eating at the desk! Disgusting! She told me 15 minutes later that Dr. Nadel would be there soon, he was out on his lunch break. I wondered why I would be scheduled to be seen at a time that the Doctor is at lunch. When he finally arrived, he told me the truth, which was that they had neglected to note my appointment in their booking system, and she phoned him, and he came from the gym to see me. Complete lack of organization! He was alright, and adjusted me, and he was somewhat apologetic, but had no justification for the problems of his practice, and didn't really take responsibility for any of it. I was set to go back this week, but again, they cancelled my appointment just hours before with only a text message! no phone call, and no call back in the 2 days since. The office is small, cramped, and is badly in need of renovation. The equipment is old, and the actual exam room is so cramped that you can barely move around in it. I will not be returning, and I urge anyone considering this practice to STAY AWAY! read more

I'm one of Dr. Gabe's first clients. I put my body through many challenges as I've been training for triathlons and marathon races for several years now. Dr. Gabe provided both adjustments but also education. he looks for the source of the issues, not just a quick fix. When I had strains in my leg, he examined my running shoes as if he was dissecting a frog. Upon careful inspection, he discovered one of the shoes were worn down and causing imbalance. From my understanding, the practice of chiropractic is often under much scrutiny. My advice - listen to your body. If your body feels out of sync, stiff, or imbalanced, you should get a professional opinion. I seek Dr. Gabe's advice whenever I run into those situations. He traveled across the country to be on my support team for the Ironman Triathlon in Lake Tahoe, CA. That was a really BIG deal. I don't know what I would have done without his support. He's extremely precise and very reliable -- and pulled through when I needed him. read more

Their office is very lazy and incompetent; not one medical office I encountered in NY had this many problems figuring out where to call to confirm how my coverage works. Then they told me I should call my insurance - they themselves wouldn't - and find out if their billing code is the same as my physical therapist's and if so, would their services be covered. As I was on the phone standing in their lobby being their only patient, my insurance rep asked me why I'm doing my provider's legwork. In the meantime, the doctor took another patient that came in. The doctor's bedside manners are very unpleasant. Maybe I'm too spoilt by other ny doctors, but with him I always felt like I'm getting on his nerves and he's struggling to suppress it. I have been a patient of Dr. Gabe for over a year now as I was struggling with neck, back and shoulder pain. One of the reasons why I continued to see him is that he communicated along the way what my issues were and what our plan of attack would be to treat it. He gave me exercises to do to help me build my strength up. I don't get flu shots and this winter was the first time I did not get sick. I contribute that to my consistent chiropractic care. Dr. Nadel and his staff are kind, courteous and professional! I had bad back pain and Dr. Gabe was thorough in explaining what was going on and how to go about treating my pain. He was great at understanding what I needed to do to start feeling better. He's also great at adjusting your back - and that's a huge positive when it comes to being Chiropractor. Sometimes you get a doctor who just can't execute the adjustments, but that is not the case here! I appreciate that their hours are flexible in that I can come after my long work days. I have been having backaches and shooting pains down my right thigh. In need of immediate help from a chiropractor, I searched for one that suits my time availability. What's great about Dr. Gabe is that he is available on some weekdays until 7pm. I have been going for treatment with Dr. Gabe for 2 weeks now and so far, I have seen changes. The first week, my pain has definitely reduced 30%-- there were some sore spots but definitely cleared of shooting pains which was such a relief! And my back pain is definitely not as excruciating as before. Also, Dr. Gabe is really thorough at explaining the details on what the problem is and answers questions professionally. Not to mention, the location is convenient to get to and the ambience in the office is very calm. I happened to meet him by chance at a gym I used to belong to, where he was doing free initial screenings. At the time I had what I thought was shoulder pain, which he later told me was actually my upper back, and suggested I come in for a more thorough exam. Well almost 2 years and about 3 additional ailments later, I'm so happy I went to the gym that night. Dr. Gabe has helped relieve me of pain for all of my various ailments, including the upper back issue. He is also genuinely a nice guy who takes the time out to get to know his patients. I've been experiencing a problem for over a year. I've been thru injections, nerve blocks & 2 rounds of PT, all with no significant improvement. My pain specialist told me I'm a "complicated" case & if I got 50% improvement, that would be a lot. A friend told me to try a chiropractor & another friend recommended Dr Gabe. He's been treating me for about 2 months & it's been slow, but I'm seeing great improvement. I have been going to Dr Gabe for the past 2 months and have noticed a significant improvement in the pain level and mobility of my upper back and neck. He takes a holistic approach to the treatment with a combination of adjustments, stretching, exercising, and informative explanations. No wonder he had immediate availability. All I wanted was an adjustment. While waiting he made me watch a stupid video explaining chiropractic care on an ipad. I know what I chiropractor does! He then met me for an hour (which I had to pay for), took an hour of my time, all to tell me to go get x rays. I went and got x rays and he proceeded with a treatment plan complete with a stupid folder that was an insult to my intelligence. The folder and Dr. Nadel went over the same useless information that the video did. Yes, I know what a chiropractor does, I do not need a pamphlet on it, please just crack me!!!! He told me I would have to come twice a week for months and months to fix my condition. I asked if he could crack my neck too during my second visit and he said I would have to come back for another full assessment if I wanted that cracked. If everything in the spine is connected, why didnt you check out my neck during the first assessment. After this I still was going to give him a shot until I started changing my appointment time and he was incredibly rude in emails. His service is a scam to get you to come in and pay for visits unnecessarily. I am very frustrated I wasted time with him. read more
