My go to Indian dish is the lamb vindaloo. This was up there with the best of them. The garlic naan was some of the best I've ever had. My wife had the chicken tikka masala and really enjoyed it as well. Needless to say, we will be back. The interior is nothing special if that's what you care about. Went for lunch with a friend, she had lamb saag and I had shrimp Korma. Everything was excellent except for the shrimp. It was not deveined properly, and on top of that, it was overcooked. Great Indian food ! We were guests at a local hotel, and we used Grubhub for room service. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh for sure, we They even noted my preference for spicy on my Paneer Tikka Masala ! (ie. not weak) Dal soup was compex also, finished with fresh herbs. I am so glad we randomly wandered in here after a long afternoon of driving! While looking for something vegetarian friendly in Sioux Falls, we ran across this restaurant. We went here the first day we were in Sioux Falls, simply because we drove by it on the way to the hotel, and it was near the hotel. I had been craving onion kulcha, so we knew we were going to stop here for sure! I am so glad we did. The onion kulcha was amazing. I think it might be the best I have ever had. I also really enjoyed the aloo gobi and navratan korma. We asked for both medium, while my son ordered aloo gobi mild. There was no confusion or problem, they both came out correctly. We were also served a huge bowl of rice, and it was more than enough for the three of us. I wish we had been able to try the lunch buffet. Maybe next time! My son and I also had samosas and they were fantastic. Cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside, and just perfectly warm on the inside. They paired nicely with the chutneys we were given. I don't know what they are called, but one is tamarind, and the other is green. Wonderful! Thanks for a great time and great service. We really enjoyed our dinner at Everest. To call it Indian is a bit of an oversimplification: it's really Nepali food (or maybe more accurately, Nepali takes on Indian cuisine). Service and ambiance are great, though some of the music seemed a bit odd: some piano or other instrumental takes on some pop classics were unusual, but not necessarily out of place. It's a good, clean restauarant with nice decor and a friendly atmosphere. The food itself is fabulous. We really enjoyed the curry spices in the samosas, and the two entrees were spiced at the appropriate level as well: the Aloo Gobi was slightly more interesting than the Navratan Korma, but both are excellent and worth trying. Their onion kulcha (bread) is possibly one of the best that I've ever had: lots of onions, baked perfectly and a firm but soft texture. As a bonus, we had more than enough rice to go with our meals. That was nice touch and we didn't have to ask for more. read more

Got takeout after a long week of camping in Wyoming/Montana and on our way home. When ordering the man taking the order over the phone was very pleasant, patient and nice. He confirmed the entire order, spice-level, and pickup time (which was important because we were over an hour away when we ordered). We picked up the order about 15 minutes AFTER we said we'd be there and it was still piping hot. Eating in our trailer was nice - the food was excellently packaged for no spills. No cutlery or napkins included which I actually prefer because it cuts down on waste. NOW ONTO THE FOOD: I am part Punjabi and have grown up eating cuisine from family and curry houses allover South Asia. Their flavors were really rounded out nicely and seasoned well. Also important: you can actually see and feel the textures of the ingredients. Some places overcook the food to the point everything looks like a different colored sludge. Not the case here. The Aloo Ghobi was still identifiable as potatoes and cauliflower. Same with the lentils. Daal Tadka was nice consistency but still had some identifiable lentils that held a little texture. Samosas were nicely flavored as well. Naan was the only thing that I didn't love but it never travels well even for short periods of time (get floppy and doughy). Would definitely eat here again if we lived in the area. Perhaps on another trip through. Enjoy! read more

We just moved from Cali 2 weeks ago and we ordered a party tray which comes with 6 cups of your choice of entree and a half tray of rice with 4 orders of naan bread that came to almost $78. Today we just left and ordered the same thing without naan bread and they tried charging us $86. The receptionist first got our order wrong by charging for 2 times the half tray we ordered and it took my husband a whole hour to get our order corrected. Even then the front receptionist was trying to dodge my husband and kept putting him to the side for other walk in customers. The worse customer service experience. Went to Everest last weekend on a Friday night. It was not busy and I'm not sure why because the food was fantastic! We ordered the garlic naan, I had tandoori chicken and my husband had korma shrimp. All were fantastic! The flavors were awesome! They even brought us out a free appetizer just to try which we also loved! My one complaint is the atmosphere. I was more than pleasantly surprised when I walked in and smelled the spices from the kitchen, a sign of good understanding of the spices. I was even more impressed when I got the food and tried it. I really wanted to like this place more. It is clean but unimpressive inside (not that big of a deal). The servers are both helpful and friendly. I went for the buffet to try as many dishes as I could. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really made me crave coming back. It seemed like most of the curries were a bit thin for my tastes, and the naan was heavier and more glutenous than I expected.
