Man, did these guys get me out of a pinch. My cat was stuck on a tree for almost 12 hours. She was about 20 ft high. Humane society told me to just let the cat be and it would come down on its own when calm (that was 1 hour in to her being stuck) fire department is no longer the storybook scenario we once knew cause they don't do that any more so we were recommended to Gabriel with Everest tree service and he sent his crew member Elujio to take care of us. Let me start by venting about the City of LA's brush clearance process. The inspection was conducted in mid-May, the notice was mailed out during the last week of May, and compliance was due by 6/10. Maybe extensions are available, but it still seems like quite a bit of nonsense. I contacted Everest on Saturday, May 30, through their website. I received both a text message and a phone call within the hour. Gabriel was able to come out the very next day (Sunday). He arrived within the time window he provided, which I greatly appreciated. We needed two palm trees brought into brush clearance compliance. Gabriel was able to get his crew out the following Tuesday, and we ultimately decided to remove the palm trees instead. The Everest crew arrived on time and spent the day removing the palm trees, along with several smaller trees in the yard. The crew's experience and expertise was on display by making this difficult job look easy. They had to remove part of a chain-link fence to bring their stump grinder into the yard. At the end of the job, they reinstalled the fence so well that it looked as if it had never been moved. There were several fruit trees located near the base of the palm trees. Everest successfully removed all three palm trees without disturbing or damaging any of the fruit trees. The yard was left incredibly clean, as if the trees had never been there. Amazing work! I reached out to get a price, and his prices were significantly higher than other quotes that I have gotten in the past. I suggest not offering bulk discounts when in the area, if it is just a marketing ploy that doesn't result in any discounted prices.
