The people at this store responded to my email that I submitted from their website within the hour, which was great. I only needed a lower hose replacement for a Shark vacuum cleaner. I brought it to the store on the same day and they asked if I wanted to wait for it, which I was expecting to be a few days for repair. This is the best vacuum shop in Washington State hands down! I am a collector, and this place has bags and belts for essentially any vacuum, even vintage and obscure models. They even helped me out with discontinued parts that they had no use for. They always have a small group of fairly priced refurbished vacuums to choose from, and the usual high-quality selection of Sebo, Sanitaire, Riccar, etc. I have seen Mike and Dave go above and beyond for many customers, even for vintage machines. Excellent customer service! I came in to purchase a belt for my vacuum cleaner. There were two customers and two workers inside this small, but stock full, vacuum cleaner store. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted and asked what it was I came in looking for. I gave the nice young man my vacuum brand name and said I needed a new belt. He disappeared into a back room, and then within seconds he was back out handing me the belt. He rang me up and sent me out the door with a friendly goodbye. Currently run by the dynamic father/son duo Mike and Dave. Absolutely the greatest service! For the first time EVER, I am completely sure my vacuum WILL last longer than a year! I walked in with all my vacuum issues and my life style (pets, dust, a kid allergic to pets, dust, and everything else!) and Dave walked me through the different models and brands and pros and cons and what will work best for my lifestyle, and LAST with 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 4 cats. These guys are great! Original had a Kenmore vacuum, they kept that machine running for years, worked on it multiple times. I decide to buy something new, my Hoover windtunnel was ok, not as sturdy as the Kenmore. Slowly it just started getting louder and louder. Brought it to their shop, bearings went out. Only had it probably 5 years, just don't make things like they use to. I decided to buy a refurbished Dyson from their shop, so far so good. Nice friendly, knowledgeable service. One of my vacuums burned out. I tried to replace it on Amazon, based on reviews and I wound up sending it back because it had little suction and was missing a part. I thought I'm going to do this in person and just buy the same model that burned out. I went to Everett Vacuum and started to buy the old model. I asked if there was a better choice. They advised a different model but it did not have the 49 foot cord, that I wanted. They said no problem. They put a 50 foot cord on while I waited for 15 minutes. The cord was $25 and the labor was $20. I now have a much more powerful vacuum than I had. It has the features I need. None of this would have happened online. Just wanted to chime in that all previous 5 star reviews are 100% correct. I recently decided to finally purchase a real vacuum after my $40 unit decided to quit and made my way here after checking out the reviews. I ended up spending almost an hour in the store chatting with one of the owners about which unit would best fit my needs and ended up settling on the Sebo Dart and could not be happier with the purchase, the service, and the price (nobody online came close in price). It may be had to believe, but I'm vacuuming half as much as I did with my el cheapo unit; it's really quite incredible how much of a difference it a quality vacuum makes. I called and the gentleman on the phone was really helpful, troubleshooting and giving me possible pricing. Then he said if I brought carpet cleaner down, he would look at it. Within a couple hours, I took my machine down and he looked at it showing me that the motor was moving the bristles. With a quick and free inspection of my vacuum cleaner, they were able to diagnose and remedy the problem in less than 10 mins. AND for ~70% less money than I was quoted at the other place.
