Great customer service and very informative! We had an intermittently working microwave oven (a KitchenAid) which I assumed was probably a faulty door switch. We called three different repair shops: one said he did not work on KitchenAid built-in units. Another was slow to reply and would not give ANY info as to pricing. Conversely, Appliance Mechanics was quick to reply and Oliver was extremely informative as to what the issue might be. He came out and quickly diagnosed the problem (turns out it was a bad door spring and not the switch) and scheduled a follow-up appointment to install the part. While he was at our home, we also asked him about an issue we were having with our Samsung washing machine. It was not fully draining during the spin cycle. On the fly, he diagnosed that issue. When he returned to fix the microwave, he replaced the pump in the washing machine as well. He was in and out in about an hour. I really like how informative Oliver was. He explained all the hows and whys of the issues and instilled a lot of confidence in us that he knew what he was doing. He's also very polite and professional. Their office answered quickly when I called with a problem with our dishwasher, they scheduled someone out the next morning (!!), and the tech Ray, sent a message when he was on the way and showed up exactly on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem (some pieces from a broken glass had clogged the pump), fixed it, and was done within 30 minutes. Plus, he was friendly had some helpful advice. We previously had Appliance Mechanics out to fix our clothes dryer about a year ago and had a similar positive experience. This is the only appliance repair service we will ever use. Can't rate them high enough. Oh, and the price was very fair and exactly what they said it would be. read more

Bruce was extremely helpful in diagnosing the issue with our old, electric GE Double oven. He quickly noticed that the door latch was not allowing complete closure allowing hot air to escape. However, this was not the main reason behind the call. Bruce then confirmed our suspicions about the electrical panel not heating accurately nor consistently. After the consultation, we decided to replace the old range. Should we need appliance repair in the future we will call Appliance Mechanics as the services are professional, timely and reliable. read more

The service we got was decent. The tech showed up on time and was professional. However the quote we got was very misleadin. Unlike other outfits they charge a trip fee which IS NOT applied to the total cost if you have them repair. The person we spoke to when booking told us this, but also said that in the event of a simple repair the labor is usually waved. Unfortunately they didn't wave the labor so a $30 part install that took about 30 minutes cost over $300 (Baically the labor was the same as trip fee so we paid double what another place might have charged). Don't use them for simple repairs. They might be a better value for more expensive repair. read more

Technician unknowledgeable and unprofessional. Upon initial visit intended to diagnose the problem, technician took a superficial glance at the oven, left without replacing the parts he unscrewed (I screwed them back in for him) but had a diagnosis. Informed me of the part he needed to order. Came back about a week later with the part. Turned out to be the wrong part for our particular oven and after writing the model number down this time, ordered the correct part. On his 3rd visit he came with another technician. Turns out his diagnosis was completely incorrect, the part was not needed, it was just an igniter problem. Each time, he dragged in dirt into the house without removing his shoes. Had shoe cover on his shoes the 3rd time, but I still had to sweep and mop the floor after him. I was disappointed after all the positive reviews I had read prior to booking Appliance Mechanics. read more

Extremely professional repair company. They gave me a 2 hour window of time, and called the night before to confirm. I asked that they give me a heads up an hour or so before heading my way so I'd have enough time to leave work and meet them at my home, which they did. The 2 repair techs were very nice and professional. They used footies to keep our house clean, and were very nice the whole time they were here. As for the repair - this is how you know that they know what they're doing and not trying to rip you off. They actually used a multimeter and ran through basic troubleshooting on my electric range. They didn't just assume it was a bad element, they made sure it was. The part was ordered and they made another appointment when it came in to get it installed. That was very quick and again, we had very nice and professional staff. I would absolutely reccomend these guys for appliance repair in the future. read more

Even though they didn't actually have to repair anything I'd highly recommend these guys for two reasons. 1) they answered same day within an hour 2) the tech showed up on time and diagnosed the issue quickly. Turns out my duct system is backed up and not at all surprised by that as we have never cleaned it out in the 6 years we have owned our home and doubt the previous owners did. Service was professional while here, but difficult with scheduling options. Not a very flexible or accommodating schedule. Longer than average wait time to get the job done also. Service call fee and labor fees are a little too high-priced, especially considering the availability. Very professional contact. Gave me a service date and I was told someone would call the day before with a window of time. And they did Repair technician came exactly on time. Very professional and courteous upon arrival. Checked out the ice maker and diagnosed the problem very quickly. Actually showed me where the problem was. He did the repair and made sure everything was working and satisfactory with me. Very reasonable fee for the service. Handed me his card, and he was actually the owner of he business.
