Unfortunately, after arriving, I discovered several issues that had not been disclosed before I made the trip. The truck had a cracked front windshield, a trailer hitch ball that was locked in place with no key available for removal, and only one key fob instead of two. While inspecting the vehicle more closely, I also noticed that the paint-marked bolts securing the driver's-side front fender had visible tool marks and scratches consistent with prior removal. I observed similar marks on the driver's door hinge bolts. In contrast, the corresponding bolts on the passenger side appeared untouched and in their original condition. This raised concerns for me about the possibility of prior repair work or accident damage that was not disclosed and was not reflected on the Carfax report. As a result of these findings, I decided not to proceed with the purchase. I spent $716 on airfare, in addition to the time and expense of traveling, only to discover issues that I believe should have been communicated before I made the trip. I understand that used vehicles can have imperfections, but I believe customers traveling long distances deserve complete and transparent disclosure of any known condition issues so they can make an informed decision before investing significant time and money. This took place on 07/14/2026.

It all started with my first service advisor Logan. They had my Jeep for quite a few days and then said they had the issue fixed. I picked it up and before I even got home the warning light for the rear diff was back on. So I called and rescheduled it for service. Took it in and they had it for a few more days and then when I kept calling and texting to get an update, Logan told me they had to order a part and that it was on backorder. So I picked it back up. I had to call several times over the next couple of weeks to get any kind of status update on the backorder. Part finally came in and they called to schedule it. I set an appointment and took it in. At this point Logan is longer employed there so I get a new service advisor who is also the Assistant Manager. I thought this would be good and I would at least get better communication than I got with Logan. That was a mistake to think that would be the case. After they had it for 2 more days I called and ended up getting the "text" message thing again. I also left a voice message asking for a status update. I didn't get a text or a call back. So I called again the next day and again got not response. When he finally did call me back the following day he was pretty short and said that it was a hard repair and wouldn't be able to get it completed before the weekend. He asked if I wanted to pick it up and reschedule. I said yes. He told me he would call me on Monday to get it scheduled. I ended up calling back on Wednesday and setting up an appointment with their service desk. Once it was dropped off I called & texted for 2 more days looking to get an update on when they would be finished. I finally had to drive up there, walk in, & stand in front of Doug to find out that it was done. Who knows when he might have gotten around to letting me know it was finished. I called and left a message for the shop manager and never received a call back. Yesterday I got a text message from Sierra @ McLarty Daniel CDJR asking how my recent service visit went. When I told her that it was terrible she asked what happened. I told her it really boiled down to poor communication. That was the last I heard from her. No response at that point. Which was what led to this review. POOR COMMUNICATION!!!!

Plenty of time. Submitted all my info so everything would be ready to arrive. Test drive, sign and be on my way. I get a ride up, having every intention of driving the truck home, walk up to the truck and it is absolutely trashed. absolutely filthy, bald tires..just horrendous presentation. They apparently took it in on trade the week before. I setup my time, they knew I was coming, yet didn't feel it was necessary to detail it or even tell me it had not gone through shop or detail. Infuriated at the lack of care and service with the whole experience. it was a done deal, easiest sale. I was so frustrated, I just said this is ridiculous and left. I don't know what had happened to dealerships, but it's not even worth buying from them anymore.

I purchased a vehicle from Nunnally Chevrolet in November 2025. While the initial buying process…read morewas relatively smooth, my experience since then regarding warranty fulfillment and customer service has been deeply disappointing. At the time of sale, I was heavily encouraged to lean into the protection packages. I was assured I had factory and powertrain coverage through March 2026, plus a one-year specialty warranty covering windshield chips/replacements, paint, and tires/rims. (This warranty is what really sold me on the purchase of my vehicle) Unfortunately, those promises have proven to be hollow. The Issues: Warranty Misrepresentation & Inconsistency: Every time I go in, it is a different story from the sales department. I bought the vehicle with two existing windshield chips, and my salesman explicitly told me to wait 30 days before filing a claim so it would be covered. It took three separate visits to finally get a straight answer regarding why it wouldn't be fixed, eventually being told that since the glass required replacement, they "don't cover that"--a direct contradiction to what was promised at signing. Tire Service: I experienced the same inconsistency regarding a nail in my tire--an item supposedly covered by my warranty. It took multiple visits to get any clarity, only to be told they "don't plug tires anymore" and that I would have to take it elsewhere to pay out of pocket. Missing Equipment: After a recent service appointment, my lug nut key is now missing. Because I didn't notice it the exact moment I left the lot, the dealership refuses to provide a replacement, leaving me responsible for their mistake. Communication Breakdown: I have reached out to three different staff members for quotes on extended warranties to keep my business with them, and I have received zero responses. A Note on Service: While my overall experience with the dealership management and sales team has been a very frustrating ordeal, I do want to note that the technician, Michael, is the only person there who has provided top-notch service. He is the only reason I've had any positive interaction with the service department. If you are looking for a "deal" that ends the moment you drive off the lot, this is the place. If you value transparency, accountability, and consistent post-purchase support, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

They wouldn't give an exact quote over the phone for the parts and labor, so they transferred us to various people for pricing (which should have been a red flag). Another place quoted me $590 and Mclarty ended up charging me over $700 after various fee's they didn't tell us about up front. They scheduled my car for the service in the afternoon then called and asked if they could keep it over night. When I told them we needed the car back that evening they took another 2 hours to finish and acted like they did us a favor by "staying late". I was told before purchasing the vehicle that it had been throughly inspected. Now three months, 3k miles later I have been told by two independent mechanics that a full engine replacement is needed. Both shops have confirmed that the issues would have been known by any credible shop at time of purchase. This info was not disclosed to me. It turns out McLarty Daniel's definition of "inspected" is just giving it a glance by one of their guys. It was never formally inspected after all despite this being told to me. The car salesman Henry H. assured me several times the tuck had been thoroughly inspected stating that, and I quote verbatim, "we are not CarMart, we wouldn't sale you a bad truck". Lo and behold, catastrophic engine failure in 2k miles... And the final slap to the face, I was also given a free first oil change coupon. My truck didn't even make it half way there. Shady Experience and Poor Transparency -- Walked Away Disappointed…read more I recently went to this dealership to buy a car for my elderly mother. I was greeted by Blaine, who showed me the car and joined me on a test drive. From the start, I made it clear that I didn't want to play the usual "back and forth" pricing games -- I asked him to give me his best offer up front. After taking quite a while to "check with his manager," Blaine came back and told me that the very car I had just driven was already sold. That immediately raised red flags. He then said they had other cars available online, but when he returned 10-15 minutes later, the price he quoted was higher than the online price, by $1000+. He tried to explain that they were "giving me money off" what they had invested in the car, but the sticker price was actually about $1,000 over what was listed online. To make things worse, he said the dealership would "only make $120" on the deal -- a line that sounded scripted and designed to make the offer seem fair. It was clear he'd been trained to say all the right things while still trying to justify inflated pricing. Overall, the entire process felt misleading, disorganized, and condescending, especially toward a single woman just trying to buy a reliable car for her elderly mother. I chose to walk away rather than get caught in a shady transaction. If you value honesty, transparency, and respect, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
