After meeting Mr. Cortes and feeling more than comfortable with his skills, professionalism and overall personality, I entrusted him with some pretty special requests. My husbands wedding band was missing a stone and looked like he had taken a hammer to the poor thing, he was against replacing it as it meant too much to him. I took it to Mr. Cortes and asked if he could work his magic and magic is putting it lightly to what he did! It looks like a brand new ring! Dents were built up and filled in, stone was replaced and setting built up to avoid ever losing a stone again. It so was amazing that I broke down in tears. I then took my wedding set to have it sized up along with the first ring my husband ever bought me, they all came out perfect! Then, I had a request from my son to help him design a unique engagement ring and band for my now future daughter-in-law. He wanted unique stones (not the traditional diamonds) and Mr. Cortes helped me (and my son via phone) to come up with an amazing piece. It was challenging because the ring was a size 4 which a lot of jewelers want to limit what they can do that small but Mr. Cortes was confident he could make it happen. He was able to complete the set just in time for the trip we were taking where my son proposed.
