We came here for the Budget truck rental pick up. This was not my first choice for pick up location but when I booked my rental online, somehow this location was the default and it reverted back to this instead of my preferred place. I was upset but my husband assured me it was ok and not to stress about it. We found the place ok but pulled into the side where you enter the car wash... Drove around back and found, A LOCKED GATE. You can't get around to the other side of the building so be sure to pull in on the left side of the location. We entered the building and waited at the desk. And waited, and waited and waited. No one came out. I finally asked one of the guys detailing a car if we were in the right place and he said yes, someone would be right out to help us. No one ever came so eventually, he stopped what he was doing and came to the desk. Long story short, it took an eternity but we got the truck and car dolly. Budget was about $600 cheaper than Uhaul and almost $1000 cheaper than Penske. Worth the headache I guess. The main reason why I came was because they had reasonable prices listed on their website for interior car detailing. I desperately needed my seats shampoo-ed. I read on the website that a carpet shampoo (shampoo seats, floors and mats) was $29.99+tax, and included a free deluxe car wash. There was also an option for Shampoo seats only a la carte for $9.99. Drove into the car wash and the lady told me that to get the carpet shampoo, I had to also get the quick clean for $6.99. Fine, ended up paying that. But then the lady told me that the deluxe car wash was not included. At this point, I thought maybe I read it wrong and paid for it anyway. While waiting for my car wash I went back on the website on my phone and read it again and indeed it said free deluxe car wash. I showed the same lady that took my money and she said the website was wrong. I told her I wanted to see the manager and she said she was the manager and wouldn't give me a refund for the car wash. I called my friend and told her about this experience and specifically used the words "scam" and "ripoff", which seemed to scare the "manager". She ended up giving me the refund after I got off the phone. The service was pretty quick and no frills. I had to have them redo a few spots that they missed on the seats. Other than that, had the whole pricing thing not happened, I would've come back because the service was decent and price was alright. read more

Meh. Evergreen is a pretty average car wash in my opinion. Maybe it was just an off day, but there wasn't much attention to detail during my visit. There were still remnants of a bird poop stain on my windshield, even after the wipe down. It may be a tad bit less expensive than Delta Sonic, but I actually would pick Delta Sonic over this place. read more

We tried to rent a Budget truck from Evergreen on Sunday March 22. We reserved the truck through Budget a week in advance with a confirmation. When we went to pick it up the truck we reserved the staff was unorganized and unprofessional. They used vulgarities in our interaction. When the employee we were working with could not mitigate our issue, a person we presume was the manager came over. He was aloof and apathetic to our issue, and instead of offering a solution, explained why they cancelled the reservation and walked away. He also said they had the truck we reserved, but had rented it to somebody else. We asked why we were not informed of the cancellation as one would assume this would be important to let the customer know, and no explanation was given. When we pressed for an acceptable solution staff told us to call the 800 number and that this was no longer our problem. I am astonished that a place with such inept staff can function as a business. The owner, Vinny, was called at one point and he shared in the staff sentiment described earlier. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it came to a lack of customer service. I will be sure to steer anybody I know clear of this terrible business. If you are looking to book a moving truck, look down the road at U-Haul as they saved the day for us. Great car wash. Have been going here for a couple of years due to a combination of price, convenience and service. Always get the Ultimate Car Wash. The workers usually do a quality, speedy job, save for a few times that the car wasn't fully wiped down or a few spots were missed on the rims. In general though, there isn't much of a wait and the whole process is pretty hassle-free. If my husband could, he would get the car washed everyday. In the winter, maybe twice a day. If you have the same illness, Evergreen may be for you. They allow you to come back again within one week for another spin at no charge. read more

This place is awesome!! My fiancee and I brought our car here about 3 months ago, and they cleaned it so well that the leather seats still squeak a little when you sit down. Our car was way overdue for a cleaning, and they made it look almost brand new. It was easily worth the $70-80 we spent on it, considering it would have probably taken 4-5 hours of our time and we still couldn't have cleaned it as well as they did. Only Getting one Star because can't do less. I called Saturday afternoon asking if they can do an interior cleaning. Person who answered phone said they were too busy & to come 1st thing in the morning. So I wake up early Sunday morning to be there by 9AM. When I get there person in office has no idea I was coming, tried telling me no-one would tell me to come on a Sunday for interior cleaning. After asking everyone & even making a call he found out the info I was given was correct however He did Not Apologize Did not offer another date or nothing hung up phone with person who confirmed he told me to come Sunday and said Yeah we can't do it today. Great service, got the full interior&exterior detail and was even offered to get a door ding taken care of as their bodywork/ding guy was there working on another car. (From the picture I was shown of what "before" looked like, the man is a master of his trade.) I got both my and my wife's car detailed here using a LivingSocial deal. What an amazing deal! They really did a great job! All workers and the owner were very nice and professional. They packaged up all the stuff we had laying around in the cars (stuff we had forgotten about) in plastic bags and cleaned everywhere. I went in to get just an engine bay detailing, but they did more than I ask and a wonderful job! After they cleaned and dry the engine bay, they wiped/cleaned the exterior of my car, shine my tires, and cleaned my rims. I don't think all that was included, but I think because they had time and they wanted me to come back. That or they were really nice. Who knows, but all I know is everything under the hood looks brand new as if it came out of the dealership. Not only that but I drove away with shiney tires and rims. I didn't get a car wash because I was driving back to Albany the next day, but next time I'll come back for it. The only thing I have to say is I wish they had more locations! Its far from where I live and I had to travel through the downtown potholes to get there. I hope they build more locations because the service these guys have are ALOT better than delta sonic. read more

We are visiting and our car was a mess after driving from Texas. Outside looks good. Inside was a very poor job. They did not wipe anything down nor vacuum or clean the consol or remove the trash. Dust and "crumbs" everywhere. Not worth the $20.50 I paid at all. read more

Maybe a good carwash, but a HORRIBLE rental location I rented a Budget truck one way, with Evergreen being the drop-off location. When I turned the truck in, I told the attendant about the problems I'd had with it. He said I had to take the matter up with Budget. Okay, I get that. Then, when I went to open the passenger door of the truck to get my bag, the key broke off in the door. Just one more thing that happened with the truck, in keeping with all the other trouble I had. I asked the attendant if they could call me a cab, so I could get to the airport. Nope. They couldn't do that either. Absolutely no customer service, helpfulness or people skills there. The next day, I got a call from Evergreen saying that I'd be charged $59 for the key. This is absolutely bogus, as it was not my problem - it was just more symptoms of the truck being old and decrepit, and I had purchased insurance on the rental. When I called Budget, they told me that Evergreen had added a $50 cleaning charge to my bill. I had completely swept out that truck before I turned it in. I suspect they're making quite a bit of side money adding cleaning charges to rentals that are returned there. When I picked up the truck, I had to clean all the windows and mirrors, and I turned it in in better shape than it was when I got it. Cleaning charge. Yeah, right. This place is a total racket and doesn't give a rat's patoot about their rental business. Budget should immediately terminate their contract, and I will recommend that they do so when I make my further complaints to them. AVOID THIS LOCATION if you can!!! We booked a Budget Truck for moving day at Evergreen Carwash. When we got there at 9am the employee could not find our reservation and just kept shrugging and saying he didn't know. He called another man up to speak with us. Neither man wanted to look at our confirmation (which had the correct date/time/location/reservation #). Instead, they were rude and made accusations at us "well are you sure that's the name it's under". (Yes, it's right on our reservation confirmation that you won't look at). "Did you call us directly to book it" (no, we tried to but no one answered so we used your website) After almost an hour wasted, they finally said they had the truck we booked but someone else was going to rent it at 2pm so we couldn't have it and we needed to leave and call their 1-800 number. The 1-800 number told us the location cancelled our reservation without telling us because they didn't have a truck available. I've never had such poor service anywhere, let alone on a day where we had movers waiting at our house and time was of the essence. In the future we will pay more to get a UHaul. ** UPDATE - In response to the owner.. I do not need to be 'educated on renting a truck' as I was branch manger for 2 rental car operations in Rochester for 15 years. If anything, you should be taking something away from all of this feedback you are receiving and using the opportunity to better yourself. The customer, who reserves a truck weeks in advance, should NOT have to make sure their truck is there. That is what the reservation is for. I DO understand that things can happen (truck breaks down, isn't returned etc.), but, it is YOUR job to then reach out to the customer and either make alternate arrangements, ask them to reschedule, find another location for them etc. Also, you should be using this opportunity to apologize, not to criticize your customers for something that was the fault of your business. I hope someday you are able to use these comments to reflect on yourself, your employees and your business and not to use them as a platform to be rude. read more

everything was horrible at evergreen car wash! i paid over $50 to have my intirior done to basically have nothing done to it at all. they say they wipe your dash with a damp cloth but really they didn't do squat! they say the doors and windows dont come with a detail service...what? can anybody explain that? i see why delta sonic is bigger and better! go at your own risk people! read more
