Requested weeding, mulching, and trimming of shrubs, got invoiced for mulching and trimming, so that is what they did, so that's my fault that they didn't weed. Quality of work is subpar. Low attention to detail. Not great listeners even when talking prior to work being done m like when I asked them to not trim a specific section, but add mulch still. Uneven trimming of shrubs, mulch on shrubs and not under the actual shrubs. They were responsive, but that's the only thing good about them. Just wait for Olivia to respond to this with specific things like "look at your compost bin and cameras, we clean", despite there being noticeable trimmings leftover. PS. 'The Pink Guys LLC' is not a registered business in Washington state. Edit: as you can see the response from the owner. The guy didn't bring enough mulch so he spreads it thinly and then lies about what i said. Said cutting the neighbors shrub was a curtesy when I asked for it before invoice was created, but since they chose not to put it in the invoice, it's not their problem. Four days after that, he finally stopped by for an in-person meeting. Two days after that, I finally got a quote that was WAY outside of our budget for the desired project. Not cool by me at all. The next day, James contacted me and asked what our budget was for the project. I told him what our numbers were and it was HIM that offered up the cash price that he do the project for. We agreed and established Monday, June 9th as the project day. Monday morning arrives and by 9:00am, there's no NW Yard Services crew at the house yet. A text message was sent to James asking if there had been a schedule change or something that we weren't made aware of. Also, since it was pretty logical to assume that an early start would be used due to the temperatures anticipated in the high 80s - I rather expected some sort of response and/or simple explanation. But when 3:00pm rolled around without ANY response - not a phone call, not a text message, not an email, not even a thanks-but-no-thanks ... it was obvious that we'd been ghosted big time! The shrubs were all very overgrown and beds needed weeding. Basically, I had really let the yard go this year! I can't say enough about what an amazing job they did! My yard looks beautiful! Not only did they do the basic stuff (debris/leave cleanup, edging, mowing, weeds), but they also trimmed/pruned all the shrubs and trees 6' and under. WOW! I'm so pleased with the cleanup project, I've scheduled them to come biweekly to keep it looking great. This company is in demand, especially this time of year, and so it took a few weeks to get scheduled and quoted and started with my project (it was a big cleanup job), but worth it! Jesus, the owner, communicates very clearly and quickly and so you know just when they will be able to do the work and what the cost will be, he is very responsive and treats his employees right. Here are the key issues that surfaced during my project: Quality of Work - The cleanup and restoration work did not meet the promised standards. Despite assurances of thoroughness, some bed areas were left uncleared, with debris and weeds remaining. Additionally, items like edging and pruning that were included in the scope of services were not performed at all. Beyond the dethatching, the lawn restoration work yielded a lackluster result. Customer Communication - Written communications with GoGreen were very frustrating. After pointing out the issues that I had with the work performed, GoGreen accused me of overwatering the new seed, planning to never pay in full, and finally of having unrealistic expectations. The issue was exacerbated after I partially paid the invoice for the cleanup work while waiting for improvements in the new lawn. After receiving some angry, defensive responses, I informed GoGreen they were no longer welcome at my home. I attempted to settle the balance by offering to pay for materials and dethatching since I now need to fix the issues myself or hire another company. I then received another email threatening me with a lien on my property if I didn't pay in full. This response felt heavy-handed and added unnecessary stress to an already frustrating experience. Despite my obvious displeasure with the outcome, I paid the outstanding balance in full. Conclusion - I'm sure after reading this review, GoGreen will write a response blaming me for the outcome. Nothing GoGreen responds with will take away the fact that I wrote this review because GoGreen failed to deliver what was promised in the original scope of work. So, if you have unlimited financial resources and have extremely low expectations regarding the outcomes of your home projects, then GoGreen might be for you.
