For the facility itself, I can say it is spacious, clean, clean bathrooms, decent parking, and fair pricing from their food stands. The chili dog with onions and cheese yummmmmm. It's a great facility to check out depending on the event you're interested. They have many other types of car racing events, but I'm mainly interested in drift cars as you can see by my photos. Be prepared though if you have sensitive ears it can get LOUD from the cars revving, screeching, burning rubber! The thrill! Driftcon racing itself I believe holds 3-4 events a year, I will cover at least 2-3. Hope to see you there!!!

When we first moved to Washington, we were in a house in Auburn that was probably 5 miles from this…read morevenue. I was outside working in the yard one weekend when I heard this thunderous noise. It kept repeating itself and I asked one of the neighbors what was going on. He just laughed and said oh that's NHRA nationals going on over at Pacific Raceways. After that, I had to go see it. As luck would have it I worked for a local staffing business that worked with the raceway. We were responsible for flagging on motocross days and cleanup at the venue during big events like the NHRA nationals. The internal staff was great to work with. These folks work tirelessly to make sure that the people who came to these events got their moneys worth. The track was well maintained, and there was quite adequate parking for everyone that showed up. What was great to see was between races. The NHRA teams would be tearing down an engine and rebuilding it in less than an hour. You could stand there a few feet from the crew as they were working on it and see it up close and personal. Even if you're not erasing enthusiast, this is a great time for the entire family. I highly recommend it.

Watched contently through the gates though, roaring and American. Imagine working at McDonalds and the person taking your order knew nothing about the menu and could only tend cash. When running this track the thing that struck me was that even if you have an "off" you're not as likely to destroy your car - the runoff areas look pretty well designed. There are garages for rent which is really nice in the PacNW. :) Would be nice to have more access for spectating/photography but other than that if you've got the need for speed - connect with one of the groups that organize track days here and have a great time! Recently visited on a wet day. It's slower but you also learn more about the limits of adhesion and how your car behaves at the limits. More importantly for me it made for some cool photo opportunities.

No pit passes needed. Most drivers are very nice and are happy to show off there cars to all. If you have kids, there is a younger generation out racing called Junior drag racing. And the kids are awesome. And if you want to eat, may I reccomed the Squid breakfast sand which , it is great. Food is incredible. Coffee and smoothes, everything you could want. The people who run the track are great. Very well organized. Family fun. You are close up and hearing the motors roar and seeing some awesome burn outs. Check it out. Great drive too.

Alan made the racing experience exciting with his commentary and Kindness. This place has so many slot cars to pick from. The track runs so smoothly and has fun twists and turns. Highly recommend for kids and adults. You get to kinda experience racing without the risks, you car might crash if you're not careful with the turns ;)

got up saturday morning looking forward to what I thought was going to be my first time on a 1:32…read moretrack... not unhappy to say that I have rarely been more wronger. turns out that despite what it says on the wall they also race 1:24 scale cars here; 'car' being the operative word. the cars you race actually look like cars, only smaller! about 96% smaller but they are obviously real cars with wheels and tires and electric motors and subject to sudden power loss just like full-size electric cars ;-) wasn't sure if I'd get any track time because it's a race day but I figured that since I was here I'd have a look at how the other half lives. fortunately for me a light turnout left an open space so I was able to borrow a car to get me some laps and enter my first competitive event! yea!! on the down side I still don't know much about the scale racing crowd other than the racers are genial and tracks are a little slower but way drivier; it's kinda like the old VHS -vs- BetaMax discussions. for the casual driver it's not really a question of better or worse, it's a matter of what appeals (more fastly or more drivey?) and what's available. 132 is a great facility featuring scale model racing on a couple of different circuits with a couple tracks currently off-line including a straight line along the wall. Alan is more a host than a front man, ready to share his vast knowledge and stories to entertain as well as educate and introduce people to the world of little cars. and of course parts and accessories and cars are available for purchase. If you never have you really should. if you did you will. if you do you know: race what you like, like what you race, but above all it's supposed to be fun :-) guess I'm gonna buy at least one car when I come back.

What a joke of a race track, unorganized, dirty, announcer is horrible, no programs, everything…read moreneeds a lot of attention and repairs, activities in the infield are unorganized and some of the things that go on are dangerous and someone's going to get killed or hurt really bad, the we watched the tow trucks make more laps the the race cars, web site has wrong information about ticket prices and gate opening, and very rude employees. Will never return or suggest this track to anyone.

Last night was my first trip to Grays Harbor Raceway and I had a great time! This track is older…read morebut kept up well and has great character! The tickets were reasonably priced and the racing was exciting. All three classes were fun to watch. The "taco" seemed a little pricey at around $7 but I'm when I got it, it was actually a huge burrito and very good. Definitely worth it. I will definitely be back for more sprint car races!
