Ok so I grew my eyebrows out for MONTHS to undue a horrific threading job done. I hadn't waxed my eyebrows in about a decade after a waxing person left me traumatized from leaving me two toned after waxing so I was SUPER SCARED to see Lorraine but she has 5 star reviews on yelp so I gave her a call - I got LUCKY and was able to get an appointment with her due to a cancellation, when I showed up she was friendly and so accommodating when I told her my fears and showed her the bushes I had grown above my eyes. After growing them out for so long I was worried if I was doing the right thing by entrusting them to yet someone else. Butttttttt She did AN AMAZING JOB and I'm so happy I went to see her! I thought I would leave feeling regret for having experimented with another brow person on Long Island but I left with great brows and confidence that she knows exactly what she's doing. If you're looking for someone who will listen to what you want, and deliver exactly that...go with Lorraine, you definitely won't regret it! She literally turned my bushes into beauties Her office is in inside of a hair salon and very clean - she's extremely sanitary and I felt comfortable knowing that she prides herself on maintaining not only legal standards for hygiene but also her own personal standards. Lorraine is the BEST! I did my first microshading session with her, and her work speaks for itself. It's quality, perfection and excellent. During the whole process I felt very comfortable and she was able to guide me through and explain what was happening. She will listen to your needs and will execute exactly what you like. Lorraine is amazing! So let me give you a back story of how I can't usually sit still: I can't sit still people. To lay down for me is probably a lot worse than having to sit down, but she talked to me through out the process, kept asking me if I'm comfortable, if i had any pain, etc etc.. She assured me I wouldn't have any problems, but just kept asking - which made me feel better vs someone who didn't during a process. It took about 40 - 45 mins. and the outcome is amazing. I legitimately look like a snapchat filter. (She gave me a lift) She also did my eyebrows which also came out great, and didn't over-pluck them saying how she would fix them up even more next time, to let them grow out a bit more -which is amazing to me! - The ambiance is nice, she's located in a the back room of a salon, it's not loud as you would expect it to be, it's quiet, and she makes sure you're relaxed throughout the whole process! I usually am a person who reacts skincare products, my skin is probably not the most sensitive, but it can be at times, but I had nothing happen to me except for a couple of tears in my eye, and that's probably because I held it shut for a while. I recently had a eyebrow shaping and tint along with having my eyelashes tinted. Now I have very blonde sparse lashes as well as crooked eyebrows that don't match. I was very pleased with my lashes, she took her time and I had no issues despite the fact my eyes are very sensitive. They are still sparse but at least have some color. My issue was with my eyebrows. I have very light blonde hair and she tinted my brows the same black as my lashes! I now look a bit like Groucho Marx with these big black crooked eyebrows. So the irregular shape shows up even more and stands against my fair skin and blonde hair. I've had my eyebrows tinted before at another salon and they were done a light brown which in more in keeping with my coloring. So I was pleased with my eyelashes but not so happy with my black eyebrows! read more

It was the most painless eyebrow wax I have ever gotten, and I loved how full the tint made my eyebrows look and lasted almost a full month! I can't say enough great things about Lorraine. I had called her in a panic after finding her on Yelp to see if she could help fix my microblading disaster. Even just on the phone she was so nice and kind and reassured me she would do her absolute best to help me. I got in for an appointment a couple of weeks later and she greeted me with open arms. Right away she knew she had her work cut out for her, as my brows were awful!! The shapes were uneven, the color was fading to a disgusting grey, the hair strokes were uneven. Basically everything about them was terrible. Lorraine walked me through every part of the process and explained everything she did. Not only was she extremely professional, she was also super friendly. After finishing, I couldn't believe how she transformed them into beautiful looking eyebrows. I know I will have to go for a touch up in 2 months, but what she left me with was awesome! Had a great experience getting microblading with Lorraine this past week. I was apprehensive to do the procedure but was also unhappy with the barely there eyebrows I had for many years. Lorraine does a consult first, with no pressure to move ahead. I was on-board and did the microblading during the same appointment as the consultation. Everything is very clean and safe and I was completely comfortable. Lorraine is very talented - my eyebrows have never had much shape or color. She is also low pressure and does not try to sell you any other services.
