When I said something about the end of day report app the director said they do t use it for 3 year olds. I said well she is 2.... The two year old class was clearly too full. The infant class smells terrible. The floor and walls are sticky and drawn on. Director is not welcoming and seems in a rush or irritated by parent interactions with her. Lastly they let someone take my child from the school without checking her Id or if she was even on the list. All of this happened in 3 days. This place is cheap and unorganized. I wish I could get my money back but Tonya hasn't called me back. I want to report this negligence to the state as well on Monday. BEWARE!!!

Key points from my review…read more * Staff is disrespectful to other teachers, parents, and students. I was told Ms. Scales does not know how to run a classroom by the "principal", when I have first hand experience that proves otherwise. * There are only 03 grade levels (Kinder, 1st, and 2nd), but the school tries to keep your money by magically accommodating other grade levels. In other words, the school has "3rd" and "4th" grade students mixed with second graders with a teacher who is not equipped or certified to teach such. Parents should realize the severe setback that can cause for their children. * The school advertises small class sizes, but has 28 in one kindergarten class. * The teachers will dismiss students disrupting the class and will send them to another class (preschool) or make you pick them up. They will refuse to teach your child. * There is a security system that is often times not working, with no one in the office or checking Ids, you are often left with anyone having access to take your child. * I was put in a predicament where we found my six-year-old was left roaming the halls unattended for over 15 minutes. She could have walked out at any point. * On google, many of the positive reviews were "paid" for through raffles of game consoles and free week of tuition. * The staff will physically pick up and move your children even though the "principal" admitted the state will not allow them to touch your children any longer. I would never trust anything any employee here has to say to me. This facility is short staffed and runs sufficiently in clicks and lies. I genuinely believe your child will experience a complete mental setback if you were to send them here. I have since had my daughter at a new school and it has been amazing. There are other options in the area that consistently communicate, are positive, certified, and structured. For the money you pay for this daycare facility, it is not at all worth it. Put your money elsewhere or you will also be paying for therapy. Because unfortunately, all that you have read is only a snip-it of the dissatisfaction and frustration my family has endured. My original review is 1800 words that still could not fully explain how this daycare facility will fail your child. My daughter has blossomed since leaving this school.

Following the change in ownership from the original proprietor, it is evident that the condition of this establishment has taken a downturn under the leadership of Tiffany Reason. During the time when Melissa held ownership and managed the place with integrity and empathy, our experiences were positive and commendable. Unfortunately, the transition to new ownership, with Tiffany Reason assuming the role of director, has resulted in a notable decline in the overall quality of the establishment. The recruitment of teaching staff has been a particularly disappointing aspect. It is clear that the current staff lacks the necessary qualifications for their positions. Recollections of our child's initial days at the facility stand out, as it appeared that the staff expected our 18-month-old to comply with instructions beyond his developmental stage. One distressing incident involved a teacher using forceful tactics to confine our child to a chair. This unsettling experience was repeated on a daily basis during our time there. Regrettably, both Tiffany and Kelly are lacking in the essential attributes required to effectively manage a childcare enterprise. This is evident from their conduct, including the unauthorized use of personal belongings for their personal gain, without seeking prior consent. Despite their assurances to reimburse us for the damages incurred, we have yet to receive any compensation. Our tenure at this establishment was short-lived, spanning only 4-5 weeks, during which the decision to depart from this environment proved to be a wise one. We have been fortunate to find an alternative school where our son is thriving under the guidance of dedicated educators. Since our departure, we have been approached by numerous friends seeking recommendations for childcare options. Regrettably, we have been compelled to share our unfavorable experience and advise them to steer clear of this establishment. Our child's well-being is of paramount importance, and it is our sincere hope that others can learn from our unfortunate encounter. It brings us immense satisfaction to report that our son is excelling in his new school, and we hold his teachers in high regard. In light of our journey, we strongly advise parents who prioritize their child's welfare to carefully consider alternatives and exercise caution when contemplating enrollment at this establishment. I personally would give them negative stars but unfortunately google does not allow us to do so.

Our experience was pleasant, regardless the change of management or staff made recently. Our 20m old daughter took a month to get used to daycare and all was fine until her teacher was no longer there, so it took her a few weeks or so to get used to the new teacher and staff; then she made a friend and that made things better for everyone. What we liked about her going to this daycare was all the learning she got from here; she learned the numbers from 1-10 by herself, she learned so many words that impressed all the family. It's easier to communicate with her, and recently she's been starting with the potty training so at home we started to get all potty training together, we're simply thankful for making our child more independent. I believe tuition is great for anyone in a budget, it helped us a lot, besides food and snacks are included so it worked great for us.

New teachers in and out weekly, extreme diaper rash to the point of getting our dr. involved, no security for entering school and picking up child, picking up our child in a completely different classroom and age group from when we dropped them off, the list goes on. These are only the things we caught - I cannot even imagine what occurred once parents were not around. For the safety of your children, DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.

First off the teachers here are all extremely lazy, and they get treated so bad here which is probably why nobody cares about doing their job. The management sucks and Berkeley treats her workers like sh** The two year old classroom has had 8 teachers within the past 10 months. That speaks volumes in itself. All never lasting more than a few weeks to a couple months. My 2 year old was also constantly getting rashes due to them not changing my child. Be aware that teachers will talk so bad about other kids in front of you to the other teachers and to certain parents. There's also a teacher there that has pulled on multiple kids and the management couldn't care less. They even let her laugh about it. Since starting here my 4 year old has gotten so behind academically wise. But as far as his teachers they were far more helpful than the 2/3 year old classroom. My son loved Mr. Tyree. I could say wayyy more negative things about this daycare but I'll leave it at this. Without having made bonds with Mrs.T, Mrs.Nicole or Mr.Tyree I most definitely would have left a long time ago. l've been at a new center for only ONE month, and I have noticed a significant change in my children. It's been over four months since his withdrawal, and we're still waiting on the $1,300 refund we were promised. We've followed up more times than I can count and keep getting told it's "being processed," but nothing ever actually happens. When you're paying what Guidepost charges, you expect more than surface-level kindness -- you expect accountability and integrity. Unfortunately, that's not what we've experienced. If you look at their Facebook page, you'll see other parents having the same refund issues, so we're clearly not alone in this. No one likes feeling taken advantage of, but that's exactly how this has felt. We're now preparing to get legal help just to get our money back, which is ridiculous. The local staff were friendly, though sometimes slow to respond, but the real problem seems to be how the organization handles things beyond the campus level. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Guidepost. The "niceness" only goes so far -- and once there's an issue, it becomes clear this isn't an organization that stands behind its word. For the price families pay, that's just not okay.

The other school "seemed" more modern & had fancy video system (which was good when our daughter was little and couldn't verbally tell us about her day), but truly what i learned was a video doesn't stop a mean/scary teacher in action and you cant rewind. However, the children spot provides lots of picture it didn't have a camera to watch the children at home-- but you're welcomed to come & watch from their office if you ever want to come in (which i never needed to because the disposition of my child was better now) . My child is MUCH happier here & learning more here at the children spot. She does hands on activities, tracing & projects (besides coloring all day long as she seemingly did in the other school). She's in love with her teacher "Ms. Missy" and all the staff. I also love the various discounts they offer for military and educators. I highly recommend this place for any parent due to our amazing experience.
