After speaking to a few vendors we knew that Captured Memories Photo Booth was the one for us! They provided our photo booth, managed a candy table for our guests, and created our unique guest scrapbook from all the photo strips taken by our guests who then signed their strips afterwards. Kristin and her husband did a fabulous job at our wedding reception! Our guests were having such a great time in the photo booth that many returned for several trips during the evening. The booth props provided were varied and fun - perfect for inventive and creative fun by everyone young and old! The booth had a screen outside so everyone could watch what was going on in the booth and enjoy the fun too. Every trip to the booth resulted in four photos taken and four strips printed. One strip went into our guest book and the other three were given to the guests in that photo session to keep. Everyone had an absolute blast!! The photo booth was a real highlight during our reception - everyone said what a great time they had and how helpful Kristin and her husband were keeping things fun but moving along. We provided the candy for the candy table and Kristin supplied all the dishes, most of the décor, and bags for the candy, and kept the candy dishes full. Our guests loved browsing the dishes to pick out and bag up their favorites to take! Our unique photo strip guest book is truly fabulous! We love looking at all the photos of our families and friends having such a good time and reading their fun sayings and wedding advice they wrote under their photos afterwards. Kristin added fun balloon sticker sayings and page decorations throughout that make our book something really special!. Thanks to Captured Memories, we now have a lifetime of beautiful memories that we will relive with joy every time we look at our fabulous photo book with its photo booth strips capturing all our guests smiling and laughing for many years to come!

She was more than just a photobooth lady, she was basically my wedding planner too. She gave me so many recommendations, business cards, magazines, just about anything that you needed to really plan a wedding. We met Patti at the Saddle and Sirloin Club bridal show. She was amazing from the moment we met her, plus if you meet them at a bridal show they usually had out discounts. Their prices are very reasonable and they have soem great ideas. When we finally decided that yes this is what we were going to do we had a blast picking out all of our items. First we got to choose a photo album that when our guest too pictures they would get a copy and then they would put the second strip into out album and people could write next to it and sign in it. Then we picked out the ribbon color, there had to be over 50 colors to choose from, we choose our main blue color for it, and they stick this at the top of the strips. Third we choose the sticker that the plastic cover going over the photo strip was going to be. They had a lot of selections and were able to customize all of them by both color and name. Finally we got to take all of our photos for the film strip that would be on the outside of the booth. She was great about letting us take however many pictures we wanted until we got just the right combination. Come the day of our wedding. Patti was not the one that was there the day of, but her employees did an amazing job. Everyone loved this item. I have tons of pictures of everybody from that night, and people are still talking about how cool it was. This place really did make some great memories of that night that wouldn't have existed without it. I love this place and the service. Where do I even begin?…read more We had just a 28 person wedding including us, the bride and groom... Sounds simple, right? Well, we complicated it by marrying alllll the way out at Powell Gardens, and then doing to reception alllll the way back in town at Lidia's. Lots of driving! In addition to that, it was important to us (ok mostly me) to have a Zero Waste wedding- with stations set up all over the house/venues for waste to go to recycling, compost, Terracycle, burn-ables for our fire pit, etc. etc. It required a lot more work, and LaTasha helped to make it happen! LaTasha was CONSTANTLY on her feet, thinking ahead, anticipating my needs, conducting our rehearsal (we didn't know what the hell we were doing!!), picking up breakfast for us on the big day, wrangling folks for photos, collaborating with the photographer, making our yummy but somewhat boring looking cake POP with flowers and handmade bird toppers, video-ing all the toasts... I mean seriously, what can't she do?! She even helped me sneak a nerf bullet into my bestie-of-honor's bouquet so that I could surprise the groom with a silly inside joke during our vows when I handed him a flower with the nerf bullet tied to the stem... GOT HIM!!! Everyone in our families and close friend group admired LaTasha's hard work and cheerful can-do attitude. She fit right into the energy of our big day. She thinks of EVERYTHING. I absolutely loved working with her, and the amount of stress she saved me was just so impactful- my main goal for the weekend was to direct all our guests' well-meaning logistical questions to her, so that I didn't have to think or make decisions- I could just divorce my phone for the day and be present. It was one hell of a weekend. It would not have been as breezy and fun without LaTasha there to guide things.

She was incredibly organized, advocated for my mom to make sure all her needs and preferences were met, coordinated things with vendors. She made sure my mom did not have to lift a FINGER on her wedding day! She was with us for the rehearsal on Saturday directing to make sure everyone knew what was happening and from early morning on the wedding day until the last light was out at the venue in the evening. LaTasha helped with and ran everything from set-up to tear down, she kept detailed lists of every single thing we had for decor and who it belonged to and where it needed to end up. She is also one of the nicest people EVER while also being a hard-ass and making sure stuff gets DONE - coordinating with other vendors and also bridal party all while letting the bride enjoy her day (which is, seriously, exactly what you need in a wedding coordinator) I do not know how we would have gotten through the rehearsal and wedding day without her, not to mention all the times she talked my mom down about stressors and issues leading up to her wedding! LaTasha is an absolutely phenomenal wedding coordinator and absolutely everybody should hire her!! You don't even know it, but you need her running your special day!

I was instantly transported to growing up in New Jersey and experiencing Broadway shows in Manhattan. Then I found out, that's because she is literally a Broadway star. Kansas City is seriously blessed to have Miss. Groves. I thought to myself, if I could have my ultimate, dream wedding - it would involve an outdoor cocktail hour with Talya singing live. So I inquired. Figuring, there's no way she's available or that, even if she was, I couldn't afford her. She's just too good. Well, it turns out sometimes dreams do come true. I'll never forget standing in the corner of the garden during cocktail hour, in my wedding dress, newly married, surrounded by family and friends - and the sound of gorgeous Talya's stunning voice energizing the celebratory evening. It all started by meeting with Mark prior to the wedding to customize the whole night, we talked about the ceremony, playlist, the bride/groom introductions etc. Mark has a sense of confidence, passion and experience for his work. He is a listener, and he understood how we saw the night going. The band seamlessly took/lead the (250 person) crowd from cocktail hour, to the ceremony, to the second cocktail hour, thru the dinner (we had buffet style so they dismissed each table)...they proceeded to kick off the speeches with kick-ass introductions for each speaker, those introductions were a surprise to us but it was crazy how they got the crowd involved - they played "tomahawk chop" before my father-in-law spoke. We did the first dance, father/daughter, mother/son dances...and from then on out the dance floor was full (I wish we would have had a bigger floor). The band had a way of gauging the crowd and keeping them involved. Whether it was the whole party rockin' out to "Wagon Wheel" or slowing it down with Lisa singing "At Last" (pretty sure my wife was in tears). I could go on and on about each song but overall it was impressive with how well they knew the pulse of the crowd. Finally, the band closed up the party and lead out my wife and I. They were the beat of the party, they were the reason that the transitions were clean. When you have a large crowd, you worry about "herding cattle" and progressing the night....that was all handled. Ultimately what I am trying to say is, Private Stock is more than a band. Looking back we cant picture that night without Private Stock. We can confidently say, it would have been a completely different wedding without them. Mark/Lisa and their team are truly professionals, this is not their first wedding/performance...and it is so worth it.

Most selfie stations could be used in more than one way depending on how you stand and angle the camera. There were 15-20 different stations that I could clearly identify and we took full advantage. Our group ages ranged from 19-70+ and everyone was engaged in the action. Highly recommend! The per person cost for the experience felt a little high IMO - especially when you have larger groups.
