I suspect the number listed is also her personal phone number. She was very accommodating and very flexible, which was very helpful with my schedule. I came back about a hand full of times for my satin wedding dress, as I had to take in the bust, waist, and hem the dress. I also had her restructure my neck line (strapless) to adjust to my removable sleeves as they were quite long. I initially also had the designer restructure my neck line as I didn't like the pointy edges of my strapless dress and subsequently had the designer round out my line. Christine took it in some more and continued to round them to attach my sleeves so they wouldn't drape down so low on my arms. Although the process was a bit nerve wrecking, she did a wonderful job. She also showed me various bustles and was very knowledgeable. Despite choosing one, she gave me two options when I picked up my final dress, which was very nice. She is very reasonable priced, given that she has low overhead working in a small cramped space of her home. I was quoted elsewhere for about 5x the price. So I was very pleased to say the least. I have since recommended her to my sister.

I recently brought her a beautiful brocade skirt I got a crazy good deal on but was way too small on me - brought her the matching top that was also too small on me and asked her to use that fabric to make the skirt fit. You can't even tell where she added the fabric - it looks flawless. Brought her some other delicate items like embroidered pants that I didn't even know whether cutting and hemming was possible - she did it no problem. Shortening the sleeves on a massive knit sweater - no problem. She does such a great job and is very sweet and has an excellent memory. Highly recommend!

In the end she was the friend and family I wish I could have had there to share the experience with me (they live out of town). She supported me, made me laugh and was just the right amount of honest that normally only feels right coming from a well trusted friend. I have to say for a small shop they have quite the assortment and from really great designers. I felt like they kept grabbing dresses I loved! Kathy was my bridal assistant for the evening and there aren't enough words to describe how special she made me feel. I tear up writing this because she was so incredible. Chrissy, the manager, supported us along the way. They listened to me and made my family feel as if they were family. Beautiful clean dresses and all within budget. The seamstress emailed me back quickly with a quote and we set up an appointment. She scheduled me to pickup the dress the week of the wedding saying that it's 'one and done' rather than having multiple fittings. She reassured me that she has worked with this exact dress and offered some alterations I wouldn't have thought of. She told me at the initial appointment that she would add some snaps in the train which I had understood as being to help it drape well when bustled at the halter neck but it turned out to be a more traditional bustle, I do wish she had shown me an example of what it would look like because I was not a big fan of the look. I ended up tying the train to the halter neck anyway for the reception. One of the snap buttons on the bustle broke off during the wedding so I couldn't have used it anyway. She did a great job of fitting the dress to me overall, although the strap across the back ended up being too tight. I emailed her in a panic the day after I brought it home and she was able to adjust it same day along with an adjustment at the neck as well. The final cost ended up being $100 over the high end of her estimate (which was $100-300) which I was not thrilled with seeing I did not ask for anything beyond what she recommended (cost was prior to adjustments made next day) and she has worked with the dress before so presumably knew what she was getting into. Overall I did like the final fit but the experience and pricing could have been better.

My emotions when I picked up my bridesmaids dress - disappointed, FURIOUS, upset and hurt…read more The owner promised me the dress would be ready for pick-up on Saturday. I come around 3pm (closes at 6pm) and the dress was NOT ready and hadn't even been worked on yet. In fact, I saw it hanging like a rag in the back. It was cringeworthy to see my dress hanging so carelessly like it was nothing but a rag. The owner claimed she called me and told me to come by later. She said she left me a message. This is a blatant LIE!!! She did not call me and she did not leave me a message! She outright lied to me to my face. So I had to leave and come back around closing time to pick up the dress. I tried on the dress and it was shocking what she did to the dress. She clearly rushed to work on the dress and the sloppy craftsmanship was apparent. It is a 2 layer dress that needed a simple hem. She hemmed the dress UNEVEN all around (left side longer and dragging on the ground, right side clearly shorter). To make it worst - on the right side, the outer layer of the dress was hemmed so much shorter than the inside layer. It looked tacky and ruined! I pointed it out and she said she would fix it in about 10 mins. [I will post a photo of the dress to show all]. Overall concerns - -expensive price ($65 to hem a dress) for sloppy work. -business practice includes lying to a customer about contacting them when it did not happen (why lie??) -no apologies for inconveniencing a customer to leave and then come back, and then having to wait around while she fix her mistake. I cannot in good faith recommend this place to anyone. I regret so much coming here.
