Don't rent through this company they are horrible. Brenda Anderson and Joanna Taylor are the worst people to work with. They suck at communication and they will do anything to try and keep your deposit. Then they will charge you for stuff that didn't need to be charged. (Like cleaning Fees after you've had professional cleaner come in and clean the place before you moved out). They kept my $2500 deposit and then charged me $2000 dollars on top of that for cleaning and repairs. House was in the same condition as when we first moved in. Then when I tried to dispute it they didn't ever respond to me by phone or mail, but claimed that they did. Then sent the charges to collection. Will be getting an attorney and taking them to small claims court. read more

I own a home next to a duplex managed by Everstar. It has been a drug house for years, but this problem was ignored until several neighbors wrote to the owners. i was shocked to learn the property was managed by a property management company. Everstar claimed they had no knowledge of the illegal activities occurring (which also includes prostitution.) The tenant passed away over 6 months ago, and Everstar was unaware of that also. Based on my personal experience, I would never recommend Everstar to manage my property. read more

I called about a rental at 710 Van Giesen. I was told to fill out an application but they wouldn't charge me unless the first person who applied backed out and would call me first. I also asked about the credit check, I was told it was a soft pull. 3 days later.. I was charged the application fee and they did a hard pull on my credit. Which stays on there for 2 years. I havent heard from anyone at Everstar Realty. I have called Joanne left a message on the 13th. Not one phone call or any response. This is beyond unprofessionalism. Brenda Anderson has managed our four rental properties for several years. She is ALWAYS proactive and responsive and we sincerely value her judgement and advice. We had a great experience renting from Everstar. We were in a townhouse for just a year between our house sale and new house purchase and it was a very pleasant experience. 1) The place was very clean and nicely kept. 2) They helped us get permission from the owners to allow our cat, even though there were no pets allowed. 3) The office staff was always great to work with. 4) If there were ever maintenance issues, they took them seriously and got people out there right away. (And their maintenance guys are really, really good, btw. Work very quickly and efficiently and are super friendly. 5) We found a house earlier than expected and they let us out of our lease a month early with no penalty. 6) Other than a small amount for carpet cleaning, we got our full deposit back! My husband and I found an Everstar rentel in Burbank,Wa. We filled out an application immediately after veiwing the house, when we asked what all we needed the women told us we will cross that bridge when we get to it. The realtor would call every few days or we would end up calling her to figure out what was needed and rush it over, which sucks based on their hours and my husbands crazy work schedule. On a Thursday at about 2:30 or 3 pm we were told we needed a cosigner, I talked to my father and he said he would think about it. I received a call at 11am the next morning telling me that I had to have my cosigner application in by 1pm or she was moving on to the applicant. WHAT! I didn't even get 24 hours to bring in the application after finding out we needed a cosigner, that's B.S. After my father filled out the application he had to return to work so my mother unsuccessfully tried to fax it over. My uncle had recently passed and my sister has a very rare disease which allows us to go to a special Silverwood event that happened to be on that day which we had been planning for, for about a month and deserved a bit of fun. My mother asked the realtor if she could get it to her on Monday, to the womens apparent snotty reply of yes but if it got there after 1pm on Friday, which was that day, she was still moving on to the next applicant. read more

I'm a renter on the property at Sun Gardens west Apartments I was told that once my cealing Fan was Broke it would be removed..and replaced with a regular light-- I rented this place because of the Fan it helps the air flow when I run my A/C unit and my heater in the winter, I'm on disability like a lot of the other in this compelex. my Question's how hard is this to fix & replace them. I think the maintance person just dose'nt want to deal with this that's my take on a lot of the up keep,, Don't get me wrong I'm just trying to tell you all WHY I RENTED it for that reason.. dosent my opion Matter you can ask people why the rented these arpt:s and that Fan and low rent was one of the 2 things.. hope I can kinda help with the imput I let our manger know of all the Bull that's goes on there from people jumping over the fence from the trailer park behind us to sprinklers that kids have broke . maybe you should have a live-in manager again on this place.. have a nice day read more
