I'm not one to leave reviews, so it takes A LOT for me to take the time to do this. I've been able to overlook the lackluster service and run down facility/beds until today. A few things have culminated to me leaving this review. 1. Beds are cracked and seemingly taped together, bathroom is in disarray.. 2. Last week I ordered a lotion that was out of stock and a week later it still has not arrived... 3. Last week the bed I was put in (bed 8) had the right half of the facial bulbs out. It happens, so I didn't complain. 4. Yesterday I was put in the same bed (bed 8). Trusting that they would have had that fixed by now I got in with confidence. It wasn't until half way through my session that I realized the bulbs STILL had not been replaced! If you know a bed has bulbs out and you can't get them replaced, DONT PUT SOMEONE IN THAT BED. Or at the VERY LEAST let the customer know so they can choose to get in or pick another bed! I have a photoshoot TOMORROW and my face is noticeably UNEVEN. I always try to assume the best and thought that maybe (not likely, but maybe) they didn't know the bulbs were out. I was going to mention it yesterday but the girl on duty was helping another customer and quite frankly already in bad mood when I came in. So I called to let her know the bulb was out and the dilemma. Seems they did know the bulb was out and they are waiting for their service guy to come replace it "sometime" next week. I can have grace for the fact that she has no control over that man's schedule but she DOES have control over informing clients of the state of the bed they are getting into. There was no apology or concern for the repeated mistake that I'm now paying for while also paying for a membership. She said I could come back in to a different bed to "even it out"... If you're considering frequenting this location, I HIGHLY advise against it. It's a few extra minutes but the San Marcos location has WAY better service and facilities. Once I pick up my lotion I will not be back here ever. read more

The tanning service technicians are very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful with any questions that you may have. They never press you to increase your services, but provide great suggestions. I have been coming to ITAN in Escondido, San Marcos, and Morgan Hill for over 10 years and love it. read more

They are always nice and accommodating. I typically get the mystic tan and rarely have to wait. It's a quick 15 min in and out!

The associates were nice, helpful and the spray tan booth was clean. The tan lasted a long time and didn't fade in clumps which was nice.

My sister was in town for a wedding and needed a quick spray and teeth whitening for the special day. She was so impressed with the cleanliness and how attentive the employees were. I've had a monthly membership at Escondido's iTan for quite a while and have always been impressed by the customer service there, but today I came in and had such a great experience, I had to post a review! I needed some help deciding which bed to try out to avoid the dreaded 'Oompa Loompa vibe' prior to being back with the fam for the holidays. I also have had some issues with acne lately and asked for advice on which bed to use. Georgia took the time to ask what lotion I was using, explain what was in the type I had, and suggest another type that might work better. She also upgraded me to a bed that she thought would work better for me, and was so genuinely nice and thoughtful the whole time. I felt like I was at a fancy spa by the way she treated me, and so appreciated it after the long week I'd had! Thank you Georgia for being such a kind human being! I have been going to this branch for little over a year now, I have always thought that they provided good, professional service. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable about the service and products, they come across very genuine and are not pushy at all. To make things even better, I recently went there for a mystic spray and the machine was going through maintenance. I understand things happen. Of course, I was a bit bummed.. but life goes on. Anyhow, when I arrived home, I received a call from Sarah (hope that's her name.. I was just shocked to get a call) apologizing about the situation and also providing a credit for future services. MEMBERSHIP INFO: The membership program here forces you to pay for an entire month, no matter when you sign up. So if you sign up on the 28th of February, you will be charged for that month (80$), and then receive another bill (80$) on the 1st of the following month. That would be 160 dollars for basically one month of time. These are predatory business practices, not to mention the predation that occurs when you are in their stores. How many times does one need to say no, for it to be clear that someone is not interested in buying your lotions? Do better, and you wont lose customers :-)!! read more

I've been an on and off customer of Itan Escondido for years but I've always just done the beds. I've been wanting to try their spray tan services for awhile now and finally decided to come in today. Ava assisted me and she was so sweet and helpful. Taylor also helped out and was very personable and knowledgeable. Haley and Kendall always stop and have great conversations with me when I am there, demonstrating pristine customer service. I went in there for the first time yesterday to get a spray tan. The lady was really nice and this really seems like a good idea but it was the worst Spray Tan I've ever had. I did the lotion on my palms knees amd feet Did not help at all. My knees are bright orange. The palms of my hands are bright orange, even though I lotion them and kept them in the fall. I've been a long time member of iTan and usually love the service I've received at every location. I decided to try iTAN Escondido as I was in the area and I will never be going back. I was helped by Taylor when I walked in and she was rude and unhelpful and seemed like she would have rather been anywhere else. I expected a friendly experience as that's what I am normally greeted with and I was very disappointed with my experience at this location, not to mention she was the manager.
