The spray tan was good and the manager was very sweet. The girls at the front desk were awfully rude. I asked them if they had military discount and responded "Uh I don't know." This is my second time here and I'm glad I decided to give it a second chance. I came in yesterday and the girl helped me out pretty well, but I ended up leaving feeling like I just gave $30 away for nothing. I decided to call back and let them know that the 7 min recommended time the girl gave me didn't do squat for me and that id like to return if I could get extras minutes or something. Clay helped me and told me they can credit a session and I was able to come back and do the full 12 minutes on the Level 4 bed free of charge. The facility and bed I used was clean and nice and pretty new. Little to no wait time. I don't know what kind of beds there are to compare it to but I've read in other reviews that they have pretty top-of-the-line equipment. Anyways, happier the second time around with my results and will be back to finish my bronzing. :) read more

I've used the mobile spray tan people before and today was my first time using the Mystic Tan machine. All went well or so I thought. When I arrived home I saw that the lotion they have you apply to the bottom of the feet to prevent spray absorption DID NOT WORK. The staff did not tell me that the floor you stand on has a lot of leftover residue of the tanning spray and Did Not tell me there are extra protection options such as sticky pads to put onto your feet bottoms. Going on a trip this Easter weekend and have to walk around in what looks like dirty feet. I am beyond pissed off. Put up a sign telling us what our protective options are instead of relying on staff that can't remember to mention it for us newbies. read more

I've been tanning with Itan since 2012 and my experiences have been on and off. Equipment is definitely the best, only issue is the wear and tear on the beds. Some definitely need fix ups and new acrylic. Most employees are very helpful and friendly, however some have the attitude that they could care less if they are there. Came in one morning and my tanning bed accent lights weren't on (no big deal) but then after I closed the door, stripped down, and was all lotioned up I noticed I didn't have a towel or any goggles. Then as I'm laying in the bed, the music choice was atrocious. It was played throughout the whole salon (definitely not a radio station). Very vulgar music about gross things that shouldn't be repeated. Not appropriate whatsoever. That was disappointing. In addition to this, I also froze my account awhile ago and these "tan bucks" are also MIA. Never heard about them again. And I was still charged an enrollment fee when I unfroze my account. Bummer man. Lotions are sooo dang expensive. I don't understand that. Even with a 30% member discount I'm paying over 100 dollars for lotion. Not cool. However, like I said. Employees are usually pretty knowledgable and friendly. Seem very understanding of tanning process and even recommend best methods of tanning patterns in various beds. I used to work at a tanning salon myself, so it's encouraging knowing that Itan sets the standards high for their employees to train and learn all they can about their equipment and lotions. read more

I am a sun lover, no scratch that, a sun worshiper and since the sun has been almost non existent as of late, I decided to get some pseudo sun and get my tan on before summer arrives. At a friends recommendation I decided to check out iTAN. I had found a coupon in one of those coupon mailer magazines that come every now and then. For $99 you could choose from different beds for different lengths of time. I opted for the level 3 bed for 3 months thinking that would give me the best deal. I headed over after work one day and was surprised at how upscale the place was. Most tanning salons I have been to are pretty plain and this place was nicely decorated and clean. The staff has been friendly every time I have gone, which has been almost daily for the last week. I already have a nice golden color that East Coast girls would envy this time of year. Pros: Clean facility, friendly staff, very comfortable beds, my cellulite looks 110% better with a tan and I am feeling healthy and skinnier Cons: The skin cancer I will most likely have when I am old and wrinkly (hope it's worth it!) If you are looking to get a jump start on your summer tan this is the place to go! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. The girls at the front desk are really sweet and helped me out when I went for a spray tan... I followed every direction they gave me put the lotion in the places they told me and did the positions they said. I followed everything perfectly and paid for express so I could rinse off earlier. My color ended up never showing up except for on my hands. (Which are horrible) the rest of my body still completely pale even though I paid for a medium and express and didn't wash off for 8 hours. When I called to get a refund as I'll have to go be airbrushed elsewhere because my hands look so bad I would never get back in the machine they would not give me one offered me to come in for another spray (no thanks) and basically blamed me as if it was user error. I did everything they said and my hands are so embarrassing. Don't get a spray tan. Still trying to get a refund. Horrible. read more

I was recommended by a friend but later found out by said friend I went to the wrong recommended location after telling her my experience so here it is. I believe I'm a first timer I've only ever been airbrush tanned by someone for my moms wedding a couple months back and loved the results but the tan artist was a bit flakey so I started looking for locations and liked the look of my coworkers spray tan. She told me she went to Itan, used the automatic spray booths super simple 4 poses and she loved it there. I was going to the river and I'm super pale I honestly just wanted to show up tan and nice looking I knew it would probably wash off quicker due to the river water... wow my tan was so nice and subtle like I wanted I was really pleased. I got back from the river a couple days ago and still have the tan :) The only reasoning for this 2 star is Lexi. The first half of my experience was led by a bright blue eyed dark hair AMAZING instructor and by the time I had finished she had been heading out it seemed. I said thanks so much and i'll see them soon. I got to my car and was kinda taken back because I wasn't sure if I got tanned at all or if I didn't know better (the tan for my moms wedding showed immediately, I looked exactly the same after this one) I went back in and was already nervous as I don't like confrontation I was just simply looking for the really nice calm blue eyed lady I was speaking with earlier just to further my knowledge in easy to understand words, I instead got Lexi who before I got a single word out she said loudly and very passively for people around to hear it seemed "did you have a question" she sounded annoyed already so I literally whispered oh no I was just wondering if I should go darker because I don't see anything, her response was so dismissive, belittling, patronizing and loud for no reason like she really was insulted I was a first timer? The customers behind me literally giggling like it's so crazy to not know how tanning works LOL. I wasn't going to leave a review because everyone has their days and sometimes miscommunication plays a big part and I work in customer service. The facility and staff were nice when I used to go there. However, I canceled my membership during COVID because I knew we were moving out of state on military orders. Apparently the paperwork was never filed so I have been charged $200 and all they will do is have me fill out the forms again with no refund. read more

Came here for the first time for an airbrush spray tan and won't be back. First - the tan. Oh boy was it awful. That'll teach me to cheat on my regular tanner who was on vacation. My legs were so dark they didn't match the rest of my body and the tech completely missed spraying the underside of my arms, so I had white stripes down the back of my arms. RIDICULOUS. Second - they promised me a 20% discount for being a first time client, which they didn't give. After being charged and looking at the receipt they said it was applied, but the receipt clearly reflected full price. Then I was told there was no way for her to fix it because it was already charged. Third - After the tan fully developed and noticing the white stripes and patchiness I called to speak with the manager and they informed me they do not do refunds but I could come back in for another spray. Uh, no thank you. $55 for a spray tan that kept me covered up to conceal it on vacation in Palm Springs in 100 degree heat. Excellent! read more

I went in for my first time with the $1 promotion last week and I was a little skeptical. Like can a tan really only be a $1? I called before hand Serena was so helpful so I went in. I LOVE my tan there is no catch I couldn't be happier at the end I loved my results. Not to mention that the equipment was all nice and clean. Serena was pure amazing, she help me pick a perfect tan with what I felt comfortable (I had no idea what to do it was my first time) everyone was so nice and helpful. I really like the beds and spray booth at this facility. I was super impressed with it. The workers were very kind and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I can't give them 5 stars because they didn't stick to what I was told. I signed up for the $7 for 7 days deal. The employee explained to me it would be Friday through friday. However, when I went in today to tan they told me it ended Thursday and didn't honor what another employee had told me. I was seriously considering signing up but was unsure and ultimately decided not to after this experience. I felt pressured to sign up because they refused to let me try out the things I had not used yet so I didn't feel comfortable. Like I said, had this not happened I would have given them 5 stars! read more

I usually have a good experience at all iTans but today the service was lacking. I came into the store around 8:50, and I was aware they close at 9pm. I walked up to the store and the open light was on, which naturally led me to believe the establishment is open. So I entered and asked the girl if I could do a spray. Now, in all my years of retail and customer service I was taught that even if a guest comes in at 9:00pm we serve them. This store apparently does not teach this. The employee looked me dead in the eyes and said she couldn't serve me because "she just cleaned". So your store turns down a paying customer because your employee "just cleaned"? Ridiculously poor customer service and makes the establishment seem lazy. Your job as an employee is to clean after the guests, that is what you get paid to do. I've done it myself working in various retail positions. Text book example of horrible customer service. Train your employees better. I don't pay good money during this pandemic to be told I can't use their services because the employee is to lazy to clean a spray tan booth. read more

The two girls were so knowledgeable and helpful. We need to tan last minute for a wedding and the girls picked just the right shade and it came out amazing. Do not "freeze" your account. I was told that the $5.00 per month for freezing the account would go towards the following years package. NOT. You get Itan bucks to spend on product. I tried to unfreeze and cancel. Apparently I did not come in on the correct day. I asked if I could fill out a form and leave it until the appropriate day, no, I could not. I was told I could cancel online. Looks like I can't do that either. I am unable to tan any longer, so I asked it I could put this money towards a spray tan. No, you cannot. You are just out the "freeze" money I guess manipulating clients is how this company makes it money. read more

I love that their staff is amazingly trained on everything so they truly know what their selling it's not just a pitch. Hana the assistant manager is my favorite. I used to be a fan of iTan, till I cancelled my monthly membership with them due to me being pregnant(I'm 4months now). They STILL charged my account after I gave the Temecula/Winchester store a letter of cancellation. The store manager called and said she couldn't do anything because THEY couldn't find the cancellation notice and wouldn't refund me my $69.90 that they took out of my account which I cancelled back in January! 2 Thumbs down for their customer service. They're nice when they want your money, but as soon as you cancel with them, there's no such thing as customer service. read more

I'm going to Hawaii on Sunday, and wanted a quick spray tan. First off, they have many deals and offers. I'm a high school student, and they have a special, which is a $10 spray tan for high school students. Make sure you have your ID and something with proof of address. And minors must have a parent or guardian with them :) I walked in and was instantly greeted by both women at the desk, and they made me feel really comfortable right off the bat. They asked me a few questions about my skin type in order to give me the perfect tan. She told me about the other services they offer, and add-ons to my tan. Before I stepped into the booth, she showed me what poses to do and explained how to work the booth. She also explained to me where to put lotion so the tan doesn't get on your nails. They have hairnets and booties for your feet available as well! The booth was easy and hassle free. I waited until my tan developed to write this review, because I wanted to make sure the tan came out as good as I had hoped. Going into this, I was a bit skeptical, as I have heard mixed things about this place. I was worried I would end up orange or blotchy. After my tan developed, I can say it is a 10/10! There are no blotches, and the tan is very even. Some places I missed with the lotion on my hands are a bit blotchy, but that's my fault! But nothing noticeable. I feel great, and it looks great.
