We started out by having a great experience here in Feb. 2022 for the couples massage for Valentine's Day. My husband loved it so much we started to go every 3 months. We had no issues in May, but by our July Appt, we paid our deposit and the day or two before our appt got cancelled and rescheduled. No biggie. Then we had to reschedule due to a family emergency. We had an appt scheduled on Saturday in October and we get a call the Monday before telling me they are moving our appt to students. We asked why and they told us again our therapists were going to be out of town again. So we finally agreed to do the students. Today, Thursday before our appt on Saturday, they call again and tell us that they are just cancelling our appt all together and refunding us the deposit money. When I asked why, they said they aren't having students do massages anymore, but on Monday they were? We've now had to reschedule multiple times on their end because of scheduling issues. So disappointing because we wanted to support somewhere local. They didn't even care that they had to make the change or remorse for their constant scheduling issues. read more

(I just couldn't find someone I really like) Jose knew exactly where my knotts were; and he found places that I didn't even know where tight. The couples massage was the perfect Valentine's Day date. My husband and I felt so pampered the whole time. The evening started with delicious appetizers of homemade meatballs and chocolate and strawberries while we waited in a private room for our massage. And ended with a chocolate drink and chocolate covered strawberries. We were given wine and mimosas the whole time and truly had such a great experience at EveryBody Massage. Not a good experience. The front desk lady was on the phone almost continuously while I was checking in and checking out. I asked my therapist to focus on specific areas and she spent almost the entire time on a different area. She also used a lotion that smelled like what they use at a dog groomer. My husband and I are new to the area and he referred me here after he received an incredible massage from Brittney. I am just leaving Everybody massage after my 80 minute massage with Antonio. I have traveled all over the world and indulged in massages at some of the most expensive spas and I can say that Antonio gave me, without question, the best massage I have ever experienced. I arrived yesterday after driving 28 hours and my body was so sore. I am leaving completely pain free and totally relaxed. I had a lot of knots in my upper back (which I carry due to stress) and his technique and pressure (which was not hard) was absolutely perfect for releasing the tension. Jenn is an incredible Esthetician. I had my appointment with her today for a 90 minute facial with extractions and Microdermabrasion(which I highly recommend if your skins texture is feeling rough) and I can see a difference in my skin already! I've suffered from hormonal acne and other skin issues due to my lack of knowledge on what was truly right for my skin. I purchased the products she recommended for my skin and I am SO EXCITED! That was another thing I wanted to add.. she actually took the time to explain to me why drug store products aren't a good option and explained it in a way that made sense! I threw away most of what was in my medicine cabinet when I got home! So glad this place is just down the road from me. Also, I came here with my boyfriend for a couples massage a few weeks prior and it was SO NICE! Diane is an awesome masseuse and was so sweet, and my boyfriends masseuse (gentleman whose name I forgot) was really nice and made us feel right at home. Originally was pleased with this place until they treated my mother horribly. I booked a couples massage for her and my dad. My mom had a younger gentleman work on her who treated her poorly. He was so rough and did not listen to her wishes. Never checked in to make sure she was comfortable... rude and condescending with his remarks. We will never go back. read more

I generally get a massage once a month for stress, neck and shoulder issues. When i find a good therapist i stick with them and tip 30%. First couple of times things went well. Last two appointments have been cancelled or i have been offered a different therapist who was very sub par. I understand things happen and people have family issues/car trouble but when it becomes a common occurrence then perhaps customer service needs to be re-evaluated. The massage was deep, which is the way I like it, but they are willing to ease up if needed. They provided wine which was a nice touch. (TL;DR: This place is amazing. Come here ASAP.) If you suffer from tension headaches, you HAVE to come here. So here is my history. I'm 23, and I've been getting tensions headaches and migraines for about six years. We're all stressed, but if you have tension headaches you understand how they only make your stress escalate. Stress causes the headaches, and the headaches stress you out. It's a vicious cycle that is very hard to break. I would typically get 4-7 tensions headaches per month, and about a quarter of them would become full blown migraines. (Yep. I'm stressed.) Well about two months ago I woke up with the worst kink in my neck, and it gave me a headache that lasted for days. It wasn't going away on it's own, so I scheduled a massage here at Every Body Massage. After the first visit my neck was feeling better, so I made another appointment and went a week later. After that, the kink was totally gone, and I felt great. So I made another appointment a couple weeks out. And then another. I then realized that in the first month since I had started coming here, I had only had 3 headaches, and they weren't even close to the severity they used to be. It's been two months now. In the last month, I've had NO headaches! Imagine that. No more tension headaches. You know who you are, and you know how incredible that sounds. My stress hasn't changed. I'm still dealing with the same issues I was before, I'm just not getting headaches from it anymore. My massage therapist is Hope, though I'm sure everyone here is as phenomenal as she is. Everyone is so kind, the house they are located in is so warmly decorated and just comfortable to be in. As for the massages, this place works things differently. Yes, you can still pick a specific massage (deep tissue, hot stone, Swedish, etc.), and they have many to choose from, but my FAVORITE is the signature massage. That's where you tell them what's wrong, they figure out what you need, and they use a COMBINATION of different massages to help you work out your muscley issues. It's genius, guys. And it has saved me from so much pain. The pricing is also great. The rebook price for a 30 minute signature massage is $29 (at least it is as I post this review). As a broke college student, I think this is totally reasonable, and I don't have a lot of money to spend. I would much rather spend that than go back to the pain and the copious amounts of migraine medication, advil, and aleve I was taking. (I'm sure my stomach and my liver thank me.) Seriously, Every Body Massage is amazing. If you're having problems and are contemplating a massage, stop thinking about it and make an appointment. read more

ya know...ive been going here for a couple of years now and have tried every massage therapist there. there isnt a bad one in the bunch, i swear!!! i have been using dene' and she is outstanding...the hub uses susan who is the owner and an awesome owner at that and he comes home zoned out every week! straight to the shower and bed for him. the waiting area is quiet and peaceful and the treatment rooms are beautiful and free of a bunch of clutter and crap. the professionalism is above and beyond. if you really wanna treat yourself, head out east and visit the girls!!! i know you will be pleased! way to go chickies :) read more

Very disappointed in the therapist I received after reading the good reviews on Yelp. Not sure if she was having an off day or if this was her norm. Building is cute with creaky floors and a quiet, dim waiting area. Welcoming receptionist. Check in was quick. Went in with pain in my neck and lower skull. We discussed I like a hard pressure and that she was going to use bio freeze and peppermint (which she didn't). Didn't adjust the roll under my legs. Finally had to ask her to move it to the correct spot bc it was not comfortable. Pressure started off good and hard on my shoulders. Kept waiting for her to work on my neck and base of skull but she didn't. Moved on to a quick massage on arms and legs. Did not massage my feet at all. Flipped me over and once again started to massage without asking if she needed to adjust the roll under my knees. Had to ask her again to do this. She offered something to go over my eyes bc SHE HAD THE LIGHT ON which was right above my face on a low ceiling. There's plenty of soft light coming from the Windows. There's lighted candles on an upper shelf. Even a lamp she could've turned on. I've never had this happen in a massage before. Gave me a small slippery pillowcase that kept falling off my eyes and eventually she just left it off. Quick stretching of my neck and she ends massage. I'm thinking there's no way that was 90 minutes. She leaves and I notice it's only been 60 minutes. Frustrated, I start to dress to go tell front desk. She knocks on door and wants to come back blaming her phone on the misunderstanding. Massage starts again and by this time I'm annoyed by the lights and the way too soft massage that has not helped me at all. I'm just staring at the light wanting to get up and leave. She lightly rubs a stone along my upper shoulders. Finally I ask her if she will just knead my neck so I can have some relief. She ends up just scratching my neck with her fingertips. I Kept wondering if she really was a masseuse. When she finishes she tells me I should stand in a hot shower with the water hitting my neck. Yes, I know this. I just wanted a good massage. Have had many massages and never left one feeling frustrated and like I still needed a massage. Will not return. read more

Carolina was AMAZING. Just the right amount of pressure (I requested medium-firm on the intake sheet), and she was conscious of my sensitivity to coconut oil (she found grapeseed oil instead). She was also seamless in her transitions from one body part to another so I was never caught off guard or felt uncomfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and polite as well. Bought a couples massage via Groupon for no special occasion for my husband and myself. I've only had 1-2 massages ever and never a couples massage. My husband and I both agreed it was amazing. I feel like a got a great deal via groupon, but their normal prices are reasonable as well. We will definitely go back. If I had to say something negative about this place it would only be that I would have them turn the music up a tad so you wouldn't hear traffic passing by. read more

Nakeitha is AMAZING!!!! I went in with my back muscles about as tight and full of knots as you can get. She worked wonders! Did she get all the knots out? No. But from experience that will take a few sessions. She did however relieve the pain and loosened me up where I could function again. She will work on me again this week to see if she can get the rest of the knots out. Everybody Massage is such a quaint, peaceful, quiet place. This place is great! I bought a couples massage for me and my boyfriend and was able to book online. One thing to note is that weekend massages need to be pre-paid in order to be booked- which is not a problem at all since we wouldn't miss a massage. Felix is my masseuse and he was great- asked me how much pressure I was ok with and he did a fantastic job. So utterly disappointed in this place. Based on all of the stellar reviews, I trekked over from Greenville and paid way more for a similarly described massage. It was actually a gift from my husband, and when I heard how much it cost before the gratuity I was livid for the massage I received. I should have known when I was called at work and asked to come in earlier something was up. Hurried, half effort massage that didn't address a single problem area I circled and elaborated on the paper given to me before the massage that was supposedly given to my therapist to review before being called back. The "ambient" music in the halls overpowered the music in the room, oftentimes being the reason I couldn't relax. The door handle popped so loud I had a PTSD flashback from being shot at. The room next to me had a sink running so loud that sounded like it was in the room with me too. After the massage was completed, I stopped at the restroom near my room and the room I was in was changed out and the car squealing tires to leave in a hurry got too close for comfort to us as we prepared to pull out. I don't know if the reviews on google and yelp are just friends of employees, paid to review positively or it was a real shame of a fluke tonight. 0/10 do not recommend. read more
