I've had quite a few massages at some pretty nice spas and resorts. Most were priced a little bit high in my opinion, but you're on vacation so you're not supposed to worry about that, right? But I'll be honest - if I'm about to pay $150 or more (plus tax, plus a 20% tip...) for a 1-hour massage, I don't want to lay on the table wondering when it's going to start getting good. That's not to say there weren't any good ones - there were. That being said, I've received my best massages here at Every Body Massage. The first time I went, they booked me with Jessica. In the past I've told therapists that my hands are always sore due to working with tools, etc. In some instances I wondered if they heard me because they barely spent any time on an area I specifically said was a problem area. Very frustrating when you're spending hard-earned money. I mentioned my hands as a problem area to Jessica and she did a great job. They literally felt great for about the next week or so, which for me is unheard of. So I re-booked an appointment with her for a few weeks later. The second session was better than the first. I didn't mention my hands but she still spent extra time on them and again, they felt great for about a week. Each time I've gone, she asks if there are particular areas I want her to focus on. I mention the top two or three that are bothering me because I'm not going to rattle off a long list. She concentrates on the areas I mention but also does a great job at 'tracking down' the other areas that are sore that I didn't mention. Today was my third visit. The previous two visits were 60 minutes. I booked this one for 90 minutes and it was exceptional. When she finished and left the room, I just wanted to roll over and go to sleep. In fact, I think they should add that to their services - a massage followed by a half-hour nap. And then they wake you up by bringing you a cup of coffee. I think I'd pay for that. They've definitely earned my business. In fact, I think I'll dub the massage I received today as "my regular". Then I can just walk in and they'll say: "Hello, Mr. Collins, would you like your regular?". And I'll say "yep". Then I'll get my massage. And maybe a nap. And coffee. read more

On a whim, and with the comfort of a glowing YELP review from Cathy H. I made an appointment to have a 90 minute massage at Every Body Massage, in Rockwall, TX. They must have a lot of word of mouth business, because they certainly don't go out of their way to draw one's eye to their physical location. I drove past it twice before I found it. I mention this, not as criticism, but as an indication of how confident they are in their services, that they don't feel much pressure to invest in any big signage. They have a right to feel that confidence, because my experience was nothing short of blissfully relaxing. I felt as if I was back in my mother's womb by the end of my massage. Cathy H. has given you the lowdown on their facilities, so there's no need to for me to duplicate that. If you want a REALLY relaxing massage/environment, that's professional and friendly, don't bother with the others....go to Every Body Massage. read more

EveryBody Massage is an amazing place. My back had been hurting for months and I was extremely stiff and sore. After 60 minutes with Jessica, my therapist now, I left a new man. I cannot rave about this place enough! Such a gem in Rockwall and the best massage place I've been to ever! I've been to chains like Massage Envy which is ok but overpriced and tried various places even in different states like Hand and Stone Massage but no one has been able to work on my back and shoulders without leaving me incredibly sore or like they did nothing except this place! My masseuse Maggie is AMAZING! She finds every tension spot even ones that I havent mentioned and applies the right amount of pressure. My mom is very sensitive and usually either ticklish or has low tolerance to pressure but every time she gets a massage from Paula she falls asleep because she's so relaxed and feels so much better after! It looks like a small house on the outside but is super cute on the inside with very nice staff and sweet snacks afterward too! Their prices are totally reasonable and they have so many options even if you want a quick 30 min massage or a longer 90 min. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for me now and is so important for a day of self care and just relaxation! read more

I've been to EBM several times and only use Jessica -She is AWESOME! Well, she wasn't there today. I have long standing neck/shoulder issues and I was in desperate need, so I went with whoever was available. I don't want to give her name as that may affect her business. Anyway, it was probably the worst AND weirdest massage I've ever received. I specifically booked the neck/back/shoulder 50 minute session-but she asked me TWICE what we would be working on. I was VERY specific that I wanted only my neck and shoulders worked on. I really enjoy deep tissue/trigger point massages and initially that's how she started out.,,,,and I told her "the firmer the better". That only lasted about 5 minutes. She spent a lot of time on my mid back.....and down my arms.....and hands. She also applied hot stones more than once without asking me first. I personally don't like them. She also applied a hot towel, which was nice-but she left it on too long and when she removed it, my back was cold! I'm aware that they pause occasionally to reapply oil/lotion, but she stopped MANY times. She also laid something on my butt (a tube of lotion or something?) and left it there for like half the session. At the end she had me flip over and I thought, "She's fixing to get a hold of my neck-finally! Nope. She did some odd range of motion things with my arms, massaged my upper chest/shoulder area, and did some odd tapping thing on my face. I'll go back, but not to her for sure. Very disappointed that I didn't get any relief.....and wasted time and $. read more

Had a couple's massage and was blown away by how wonderful it was! When we walked in, I immediately felt a sense that they care for their customers and their needs. It was clean, relaxing, and smelled wonderful inside! Jessica Cantrell and Carolina made sure to verify the issues we were having and what we were hoping for before the massage. The massage was fabulous and extremely relaxing. I absolutely love how they tailor the massage to your body's specific needs as opposed to having one type of massage. This review is not based on a service provided because a service was never provided. In fact, it was refused. My sister and I bought a Groupon for my parents to get a couples massage at Every Body Massage. They were very excited and tried calling multiple times to get an appointment before the Groupon expired. They were continuously told there were no available appointments. About a week before the Groupon expired they were able to get an appointment but the date was past the expiration. The staff member ASSURED them they did not have to worry about it and they would still honor the original Groupon. They were never asked for the Groupon number. The night before their massage they got a text from the owner confirming they wanted to cancel their massage even though they never requested a cancellation. My dad called the owner and said he never asked to cancel. No apology from her for the misunderstanding. Instead, she said she needed the Groupon number which my dad did not have with him at the time and she rudely told him he better call with it before 9 am the next morning. He called with it at 7:30 am the next morning and was then told by the owner they would not honor the Groupon because it was expired. When my dad, a business owner himself, complained to the owner about this being an unprofessional establishment the owner refused to work with him. She would not give them a refund and told them they would have to go through Groupon. I called the owner myself and instead of apologizing for the mix up and poor customer service she gave me excuse after excuse (her son was answering phones, her computer crashed, etc.). I was very patient with her and just asked her to make it right for them. She kept telling me she did not think it was a good idea to service a client who was already frustrated with her business practices. After getting nowhere with her, I finally flat out asked her if she was refusing to service my parents. After her saying, "Well..." and continuing to make excuses. I asked her again and told her it was a YES or NO. Instead of turning TERRIBLE customer service into an easy fix she chose to REFUSE service. That was until I told her I was going to give her terrible reviews online. She quickly changed her tune and said she could get them in after all. At that point it was entirely too late. She was rude, irrational, disrespectful and full of excuses. I will never ever consider going to this place. There are plenty of other fantastic masseuses out there who CARE about their potential customers. I don't care how good the therapists are - it is not worth it! read more

My aunt and I went for massages a couple weeks ago. Every Body massage is a nice little place with very nice staff. I had a great massage, but when I have had massages before the therapist would lay something warm over my back for about 5 minutes before she began...they didn't do that here. That took away from my experience a little bit. Other than that Mary massaged me and did great! My aunt had a hard time communicating with her therapist. My aunt was freezing her whole massage and their was a fan blowing right on her. She asked her therapist to turn it off but there was no response. My aunt is from out of state and she too is used to the hot towel and warm lotions. She just about froze out. I don't like to complain but those are important aspects of a relaxing massage experience. Overall, it was a nice experience with good prices and my massage was great! I walked out of there like a noodle. I'll go back! read more
