David speaks fluent English and Cantonese. I think some Vietnamese as well. His mom for sure speaks Cantonese and Vietnamese. They're both very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Let them know what you're looking for and they'll have recommendations for you! RESELLING JEWELRY David was very honest with me. I had some loose stones and he let me know there's not much anyone can do with them. I also had a ring that he identified as fake gold so it was pretty much junk lol. For some earrings that were 18k, he told me that there wasn't much gold (they were small) and because of that I would not get much resale value. Most of the value was really in the labor of making the pieces. I told him the main reason I was looking to sell was because they were white gold and I preferred yellow gold. He suggested I see his colleague at Focus Plaza and get them rhodium plated instead. (And I did for $20, see pics!) CLEANING Nothing to add, he cleaned my engagement ring so it was nice and shiny again. REPAIRING Great! His repairman soldered my necklace back together. The clasp snapped off but it was an easy fix. I went to another place at first and they had no idea what to do but luckily their jeweler Reyes was an expert and fixed everything for me in less than 30 minutes! Anissa and Elisa were super helpful and kind the entire time and showed me some pieces while I waited. I was expecting to drop off my watch and come back in a week because of other watch repair places I've been to but not only was the service super fast, everyone there was so nice. I'll definitely be coming back for all of my jewelry needs! They do sell a wide variety of pieces in store but also offer jewelry and watch repair.

The sales associate told me the Black Bay 54 is "not a dive watch," which is just factually wrong. Then she tried to show me a TAG Heuer Solargraph. I asked whether it was a quartz movement. She said no, "it's solar." I clarified that I understood it was solar-powered, but asked whether the movement itself was quartz. She still said no. When I pointed out the ticking seconds hand, she insisted that just because the seconds hand ticks doesn't mean it's quartz. At that point, it was clear she did not know the watches she was selling. I don't expect every salesperson to be an expert, but if someone is going to speak confidently, the basic information should be correct. The whole interaction came across as rude, dismissive, and uninformed. I walked out and will not be returning.
