After 17 years it was time for a new in sink garbage disposal. I requested quotes from several local Jacksonville area companies. 2 did not reply. 1 replied with a sales pitch but not the simple service/parts estimate I'd requested until pushed. I had a great experience with Everybody's Plumbing Company. I spoke with Jerry to make an appointment for my running toilet as I figured I needed to have my fill valve repaired or replaced because I knew it was just wasting water. Wasn't looking forward to paying that bill. Basically, Jerry and his partner came promptly to my house, diagnosed the issue, made a quick trip to Home Depot for the part they needed and did all of the repairs in under an hour. The only regret I have is that I wish I would have called them two months prior instead of putting it off for so long. I was just being really lazy. My final bill was a flat $90 and well worth the time and money (plus aggravation) I would have spent watching Youtube videos on "How to Fix a Toilet - Fill Valve Replacement" and still not know what to do. In the end, it was money well spent and the repair has made a tremendous difference in my sewer/water bill. Professional and personable. After two very dissatisfying experiences with other local plumbing companies, I was begrudgingly on the hunt for someone else to call. I read a five-star review about Jerry that was posted that same morning, so I decided to give him a shot. The third time really IS the charm; not only did he listen to my situation with the previous two companies I tried to hire, he apologized on their behalf and was adamant about not letting me down. He had just finished a job and told me he already had another one scheduled for that same afternoon, but he still decided to fit me in at the last minute and arrived at my house shortly thereafter. I had a clogged kitchen sink that needed to be snaked and he knocked it out pretty fast. We had a pleasant conversation and he gave me excellent tips for future maintenance. He also tightened one of the slip nuts on the p-trap after I pointed out a slow leak, and since he drove straight to my house from another job and didn't have time to re-organize the tools in his truck, we joked about how he could snake a sink faster than he could find a wrench! Jerry was pleasant, professional, and cared very much about making sure I didn't have another bad experience with a plumbing company. It truly meant a lot to me that he was able to fit me into his busy schedule at such short notice. After having one of the water heaters in our rental units go out due to old age, we were in a bind. I called two other plumbing companies in the area and the costs they quoted to install a new one were much too high (my dad owns his own plumbing company in another city, so I had already talked with him about what it should cost). After buying the water heater ourselves from Lowe's, we asked the associates who they would recommend and they told us about Everybody's Plumbing. Jerry got back to me right away and offered to come out that day to take a look. Not only did he quote a much more reasonable price for the labor, he also noted that whoever had installed the first water heater had done it incorrectly, making it difficult to get to the element panel (which was against the wall). Jerry was able to come back out the next day with one of his electricians who extended the outlet for our new, taller water heater and make sure the new heater was installed properly. Even with the extra labor, we still saved more than $200 on what the other companies quoted. Jerry was extremely pleasant to work with, was very knowledgable and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience working with him (with no extra fees tacked on). I needed a new garbage disposal and really didn't have the time to install one myself, honestly I didn't want to either. I checked yelp for reviews and noticed Everybody's Plumbing stood out from the rest so I submitted a request for a quote and as well as competing quotes. Jerry's quote came back the most reasonable and it's who I was targeting anyway so I set up an appointment to have the install done. Jerry arrived a little before the appointment time and quickly went to work removing the old disposal. He discovered that the previous home owner had unnecessarily added a p trap to the disposal making it much easier to clog up. I never honestly paid attention but after pointing it out Jerry said he wanted to do it right so he went to Lowe's and got a new sink kit (didn't charge me extra for it) and replumbed it for me. That is what you call customer service and part of the reason for my 5 star review. Jerry is very friendly and went the extra mile to make sure I avoided future problems. He did an outstanding job for a very reasonable rate and I'm very happy with the work he did so I can easily give this review and recommend him. I have some vendors I use for future work based on past work they did for me and Jerry is the plumber I'll use going forward. I sent a request for quote through Plumbers Network for 3 companies and within 30 seconds Everybody's Plumbing called my cell! The labor rates are pretty standard- $70/hr just like you'd get quoted for car or appliance repair. BUT they were able to come out same day just for a sink leak. Once he got out there, our problem seemed bigger than I though and we had to replace the sink all together. So he scheduled a trip out the next night and let me furnish my own parts (I picked out the sink I wanted at Lowe's). The BEST PART: he never grew annoyed or snotty with my 4 year old who would not leave him alone. My son wanted to see and ask about everything he was doing and in the intern I'm sure he got in the way. (Of course I also got the wrong size of sink and he had to wait in his van while I ran back to Lowes to return and get a replacement.) He didn't charge me the extra 30 mins that took in the labor cost! He also fixed my running toilet for free just because he heard it running. read more

Jerry was amazing! First off I needed a plumber to come out to my house same day because a pipe leading to my washer cracked (cold water) and because of this my water was shut off to my house from the street. Jerry was able to come out after he finished up another job. He arrived on scene and took a look and told me he had to go to the supply store to get the parts he needed to fix it. He came back and was thoughtful enough to grab an item that would fix both pipes (you know what they say, if an item is in pairs and one goes bad, the other isn't far behind). From there he continued to fix and replace the old parts all while keeping great conversation with me and giving me tips on places to check out around the area. Once it was said and done we turned the water back on, hooked up the washer and did a test cycle and everything worked like nothing had happened.
