I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment on a recent date and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. The portions were generous and the atmosphere was conducive to a family-friendly dining experience. Despite the unassuming exterior of the building, the interior was inviting and comfortable. I ordered the eggs Benedict and a single piece of French toast for breakfast. The eggs Benedict was a bit flavorless despite the large amount of hollandaise poured over the eggs. The poached eggs weren't quite cooked enough. And the hash-browns were not fresh. French toast was okay. But this place got four stars from me for the kind waitress who was attentive and helpful. Very disappointed in the meals we ordered. Everything was cold and the cheese tasted fake. The server was nice and professional, it was just bad cold tasteless food, and the prices were high. For two breakfast's with hashbrowns, toast and waters, it was $35 plus tip over $40. Won't be going back. read more

We visited this restaurant on Monday. The food and service were terrible. The waitress brought our order (which included very burnt toast/rubbery eggs) and never came back to check for order accuracy. We tried to get her attention several times for a refill on our drinks and she simply ignored us. It seemed she was too busy socializing with one other table. She also never brought the bill. What a terrific find from just driving by! The food was fantastic (I had breakfast poutine -1st time for that) and our server was terrific.

Everything we've ever ordered here from the raspberry crepes to the eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection. We have eaten here a dozen times or more and it's always been very good food and service. There is sometimes a little wait, as it's not a very big place and they had to remove Center tables during the pandemic for extra distance, but it's worth the short wait (we only had to wait during a really busy rush 2 times). Good food. Great friendly service. I've had breakfast here twice and both times was impressed with the friendly helpful service. The food is good. Solid takes on standard diner fare. But the service is above and beyond. Your hot beverage and water is never empty. Your food comes quickly and you don't have to wait for your check. My first visit was mid morning on a weekday so I wasn't sure how typical it was. My second time was right in the middle of the Sunday rush. They were slammed, but were just as attentive. My daughter, my granddaughter, and myself had breakfast at the everyday Café on Saturday, May 14, 2022. I am very impressed. When you walk in you are impressed by the decor. It is bright it is cheerful it is clean. The staff are also bright cheerful and greet you with a genuine smile. I'm very impressed with the menu, it is not overwhelming in selections. All selections I described very well, which helps those with us with allergies to determine whether it's a dish we should order or not. Coffee was excellent. I ordered the BG mess and it was off the charts wonderful; from the homemade biscuit to the perfectly cooked hashbrowns and For the first time in a long time my eggs were cooked exactly as I asked, basted. There are many chefs/cooks they do not know how to based eggs. My daughter ordered hashbrowns toast and eggs and it was perfect. My granddaughter ordered the muffin sausage egg and cheese biscuit. My granddaughter is a very picky eater and she ate every bite plus help me with my BG mess. I highly recommend this restaurant because of their good service, good food, clean environment and we are made to feel very welcome and not that we have to push yourself through meal to make room for those standing in line. I love this place. When I come back to MN to visit my family, I always make it a point to eat here. The food is always fresh and cooked when you order it, not ahead of time and reheated. The hot beef sandwich is wonderful, they don't skimp on the size of the beef and the mashed taters are from real potatoes and still chunky. The gravy is a little salty, so don't add any. The scrambled eggs were actually scrambled, not whisked up then fried in one piece. Worth the wait, and worth the drive. Delicious! read more

Most of the food is from frozen!! Not fresh food! The tables were sticky/dirty! I was seated, and then I waited a half hour before the so called waitress came to get my order!
