    Red curry and drunken noodles

My wife and I stopped in for lunch today at Everyday Thai. We were welcomed by Steve the owner, the restaurant is spotless and the decor is contemporary cool. Steve's wife Thip (Tip) is the chef. Their food looks as great as it tastes. Steve could not have been more hospitable and engaging. Definitely some of the best Thai food we have ever had. Highly recommend!

We decided to go here based off reviews and photos and our experience was a bit underwhelming. The decor and everything is nice, the location even is great! It's near all the big stores and mall! Chicken wings: 5/5, best thing there. We got it without the sauce. Pad Thai: 3.5/5, it was good. Pad Mee Kao: 2/5, not even Basil, it didn't taste like drunken noodles. Tom yum goong: 1/5, it was wayyy too sweet. It was hard to eat. Coconut ice-cream: 1/5, it tasted like they took coconut milk and churned it into ice-cream. It was not good. Overall, this was Americanized Thai food and it was okay. I don't think we will be back. Our waiter was slow to tend to us even though there wasn't a lot of tables. Not a good experience.

    Yellow curry, medium spice. Yum.

Excellent service and delicious food. We had the Tom Kha Gai soup (chicken/coconut milk), P8 with Shrimp (stirfried vegetables and glass noodles), and the yellow curry at a medium spice level. The vegetables were cooked perfectly crisp-tender and everything was so flavorful. I would love to eat here again!

This place is actually pretty great. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is clean. Even though the prices lean towards a lot casual restaurant the decor is a bit nicer. As I am gluten free I had the pad see eww which was delicious I ate it all and I took the beef salad Togo which was great I love beef salad. My friend had something else which they enjoyed I really don't remember the name but I will have to update the review( I've added the picture). The food came out quickly and our server was pretty pleasant. If I am back in springy I will return here!

My honest and raw review? It was alright. Prob 2.7 The staff was very nice to be able to accommodate a party of 20 without a reservation and they did a great job. We were all visiting from out of state and just wanted some good Asian food. DONT GET ME WRONG THEY BUSTED THESE DISHES OUT QUICK AND FAST but the taste just wasn't there for me!! I had pad kee Mao and it was spicy but that's it... like where was the flavor.?! Tbh I think I got the short end of the stick cos everyone else seemed to like their meals but my brother and I (who ordered the same damn thing). Would I come back? No. Do I recommend you to try this place? Yes! I've just had Thai at other places before and this one just wasn't a fav or mine

I had the seafood soup. The food was amazing, perfectly balanced and simply delicious. Plus the service and dessert will definitely be coming back very soon.

SF1 no fish seafood platter with extra shrimp. Mild spice. It was so good and a perfect balance of sweet and heat.

Ask the Community - Everyday Thai

    Is there takeout?

Yes they do. You will want to plan ahead as they tend to be very busy especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. It's not uncommon to have a wait for takeout about an hour sometimes even more.

    Do they deliver?

I don't think they deliver, but they are fantastic. Worth the drive over.

I'm not entirely…read moresure that I really scratched the surface of Thai food with my one meal but, for anyone looking a great, authentic meal, this looks like it may be the place! The first thing I noticed was the sign on the outside that said they were soon going to be closed for 3 weeks for a family vacation. That excited me, knowing now that I was walking into a family owned business. What you walk into is a small, but cozy, dining area - the sign on the wall says they can fit 44 people in there. We had a table reserved and thusly, did not have to wait. Throughout the dinner, I did notice customers waiting for both a table and for takeout and I'll say, it's worth the wait! We were served by a sweet lady, of whose name I cannot remember. She was very attentive to our group of 8 guests. We ordered 3 different appetizers: Veggie Spring Rolls, Steamed Dumplings and the Money Bags. I tried the Spring Rolls and Money Bags and though I wasn't the biggest fan, everyone else at the table enjoyed them (I likely would have enjoyed the Chicken Spring Rolls more!). Me not being the biggest fan reflects more on my pickiness than the quality of them as, like mentioned, everyone else really enjoyed them all. For my entree, I ordered from "Grandpa's Favorite Chicken" from the "Chef Special" category. My reasoning behind this order, of which no one else at my table considered was as follows: 1, it's chicken with a sweet and sour sauce! 2, it's on the "Chef Special" category which though it didn't have a description, I assumed meant that it's something the Chefs enjoy making. 3, it was starred on the menu which means that they recommend it - it was a great recommendation. My order came out in approx. 10-15 minutes with a side of white rice that I added on. The picture I have is after everyone at the table picked off a piece of chicken because of how delicious it looked. The portions were great, enough for two people that aren't starving. There was plenty of sauce - of which was very flavorful. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the rice did a great job at soaking up some of the extra sauce that was in the bottom of the plate. Overall, this meal was delicious! I would highly recommend to both locals who can go and try multiple different meals there and anyone who is just stopping through town. You won't be disappointed!

A promise of something real, something worth the patience. And when they finally opened..a soft launch, no fanfare; you better believe I was in that parking lot shared with the Food4Less, off Battlefield and Campbell. Rainy day, cold weather in the summer. Surprisingly the perfect combination to enter this newly renovated addition to the shopping center. Their old location is gone. What stands in its place? Something else entirely. Three to four times the size. Four distinct sections. Booths, circle tables, rectangle tables, even a bar with stools. Seating at this hour is self-managed: a small act of trust that tells you everything about the warm chaos of a family-run operation still finding its rhythm. But the bones are solid. The vibe is an unexpected comfort. Soft piano drifts through the air. The lighting is warm, upgraded, inviting. Faux vines trail from corners, faux bamboo stands tall, a video screen plays peaceful landscapes of Vietnam. Paper lanterns hang alongside actual glass chandeliers. Golden fish with kanji watch over the room. It's a total upgrade from the old spot. This isn't just a restaurant moving locations. This is a statement of intention. We ordered. My fiancée went with the Pho Thai: that glorious, aromatic bowl of rice noodles in a broth that tastes like it's been whispering to itself for hours. Rich, savory, soul-warming. I ordered the Bún bò huê but asked them to swap the standard noodles for vermicelli. A small tweak. The kitchen didn't blink. The broth arrived dark, complex, spicy. The Central Vietnamese cousin to pho that doesn't get nearly enough love in this country. It had heat. It had depth. It had backbone. Our kid got a simple side of noodles. Needless to say, everyone finished their food. Every bowl scraped clean. That's the best review you can give a place. Spring rolls? Fresh. Generous. Bigger than usual, stuffed with care. The service? Quick, friendly, attentive, even while short-staffed. That's not easy. That's experience. Hong Yen is a gem. A real one. Great prices, genuine hospitality, a family atmosphere that welcomes strangers and treats them like regulars. People drive hours for this. Now I understand why. Worth the wait? Absolutely.

It's hard to find a good Pad Thai here in Springfield and sadly that continues. The Pad Thai I ordered was nothing more then stir fried noodles that tasted like dirty grease.
