This was my first trip to Everyday Thai. I ordered take out of the Pad Thai, Chicken Satay and Shrimp Rolls. The order was prepared on time. The staff were extemely friendly and the place was cleanb always a good start. The food however was excellent! Frequently pad thai can be heavy and dense mine was right on spot. The only thing I might change would be to ask for it hot as opposed to medium. Everything was spot on. Next time I am going for the soup. read more

Came in for a late lunch with the adult group from church. It was not busy at 4pm so we were seated right away and they were very accommodating to our size group. I had order the Tom yum soup and pad see ew. The soup was very good. I was able to share with a few of the group member. The pad see ew was not too bad, just a tiny bit dry. Quality, authentic Thai food (lived in Thailand for a couple years)...Springfield is fortunate to have them. Thais are doing the cooking, usually cackling away in the kitchen...they're a hoot! They don't compromise or Americanize the food, and it's delicious. The papaya salad is excellent (tho no sticky rice...that's a drawback) and u can get it Thai or Lao style. Chicken satay was a tad overcooked but still excellent w the peanut and sweet & sour sauces. Many Thai restaurants don't offer khao soi (curry soup), and this one is excellent. I always go with massaman curry, also strong, nice and thicc. Best dish IMO is P9 Thai chicken cashew stir fry...add some bell peppers and a fried egg on top: omg! Most Americans love them some Phad Thai and you won't be disappointed. If you love noodles, I suggest you order Phad See You. It's darker and sweeter soy sauce than Phad Thai, but an easy transition if u want to try something different. Service is fine. The new location on Battlefield is spacious and appears clean. This was the first time I've eaten here. Walked in at 6:30 pm on a Friday night to order takeout. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even though they were in the middle of dinner rush. I got a chance to look at the other entrees coming out of the kitchen and they all looked and smelled amazing. Arriving home my food was still piping hot, and well packaged. Nothing leaked! I ordered chicken red curry and it was seriously the best I've ever had. I chose both the eggplant and green peppers and would do it again. The basil- it was definitely fresh Thai basil, and so flavorful! The portion was enough for two, so I cannot wait to have it again for lunch. I will definitely be back. Wish the location was closer to work, because this would be a definite go-to spot for lunch, too. read more

Whenever there's a new restaurant in town, people tend to swarm in to try it out. This happens to be the case. The restaurant is conveniently located in the "Asian Corner", next to a Vietnamese restaurant and an Asian Market nearby. Parking is easy. That's about all the good things I can say about this place, unfortunately. The food was not bad, well, average. The fried rolls were a bit dry; the meat in the curry was tough. The flavor of Pad Thai is quite good, but lacks eggs or enough peanut to call it a good Pad Thai. That said, food is not the real problem that keeps me from coming back. The worst is the service: long wait, slow service, lack of attention to customer's needs. We walked into the place, though there was no other customers waiting, no staff ever paid any attention to us; we waited for close to 10 min. to get a table. The food was slow to come. I overheard one staff said to another: "you have to tell them (meaning customers) it will take 30 m. to get entree". Seriously? The owner said they are moving to a different location with more room to accommodate more customers. I wanted to tell him: without increasing staff in the kitchen, without improving service, more space means more problems and more unhappy customers like me. read more

I have been to dozens of US based Thai restaurants and am seldom overwhelmed. Some are not even worth the time after taking a few steps within and seeing the tables and spreads; knowing the food and how it should appear and the smells floating from the kitchen. Everyday Thai gives you the first impression you always hope to experience. The environment is very open yet intimate; spartan yet ornately decorated; clean and comfortable. The aroma that filled the entrance way was disarming if not deliriously appetizing! The host and service staff was very adroit in making you feel as though your table is the only one there. Julia waited on me. She turned out to be one of the most remarkable waitress I have had in recent ages; knowledgeable of all the menu items. Having tasted nearly everything, she enthusiastically explained the ingredients and how they affect her palate. (Much gusto to boot!) I must have looked dumbstruck or silly as all my questions were quickly and satisfactorily answered with the calm, candor and resolve of somebody who knows practically all the nuances and attributes of all dishes on the menu! She even told me I could order a larger sized portion from the dinner side of the menu if I wished. (Wow) I wasn't that hungry and have never been one to eat too much food at lunch as it is; but I do love spring rolls so I ordered PAU-PIA TOD which is deep fried chicken and vegetable spring rolls (4) with the elegantly balanced house sweet chili sauce. I also ordered the entrée when I ordered the appetizer. I sometimes order a red curry or the drunken noodles but I thought I really needed to taste Everyday Thai's version of PAD THAI. This seems to me to be all Thai restaurants mainstay / litmus dish. The spring rolls arrived very timely; less than 6 minutes. The rolls were sharp, golden and crunchy. They were crispy on the outside and moist inside; tight yet very welcomingly accommodating to the dipping sauce which had just the right ratio of rice vinegar to chili flakes to deliciously sweet syrup. (Exquisite.) Shortly after having finished off the appetizer, the steaming PAD THAI arrived. It was easily hands-down the best I have ever had. The portion was the largest and it was relatively as greater in flavor as it was a massive amount of deeply aromatic steaming hot mound of Thailand's namesake dish! Every bite had a fresh pinch of Thai Basil, a hearty amount of steaming stir fried rice noodle, chicken, scallion, peanut crumble and bean sprouts! I had ordered Hot (Knew better to avoid Thai Hot, lesson learned long, long ago.) ;) It easily took four glasses of cold ice water to finish it--balanced, yet comfortably if not insanely challenging and thus rewarding! It was one of those culturally distinct dishes I would had never expected to come out of a mid-west eatery. Several hours later I realized it was the most delicious Thai food I have ever had. It was also, subsequently, the best overall service I have received in recent ages. Julia knew far more than I have ever ordered from who was neither a native Thai server nor first generation Thai house cook! Friendly attentive and dedicated, Julia is the kind you always want but seldom ever get. Everyday Thai is a place I will visit frequently even as I live well over an hour away! BRAVO! read more

I have eaten here many times and the food is always very good but their curbside service has been very bad during the shut down. I have ordered over the phone and been told a time to pick up. 2 times when I arrived at the time I was told they came out and told me it would be another 30-45 minutes. we ordered take out as first time customers. We were told 35-40 mins for our food to be ready. We also requested curbside pickup. After paying $30 for one dish and soup, I was also asked to leave a tip for the chef which I did. i showed up early and parked near the front door where I assured curbside pickup up was since I had not been given any instructions. I waited until 40 mins and called to check on my order. Lady said 5 more mins. I told her ok and that I was already at the restaurant. 20 more minutes passed and at this point I was angry. I tried to call several times, but no one answered. I went inside to inquire about my order. A man comes out with my food and says oh its been ready for awhile, but it's been sitting at the take out door. I was apparently parked at the "dine in" door. Staff should be trained to give instructions like where to park etc. The staff member did not even apologize for the lack of communication and extended wait time. read more

The service was terrible. Our server came over and took our drink order fairly quickly - delivered the drinks and we asked him for a couple more minutes to look over the menu since it was our first time eating there. About 30 minutes later, we had to flag him down to take our order. Waited another 20 minutes, the manager came and asked us if we would mind switching tables because he had an 8-top coming in and needed our table. We didn't mind moving, but told him about the terrible service and he offered to comp our meals. Our food finally arrived, but I asked for a refill on the iced tea and only got it about 10 minutes later when another server came by to see if we needed anything. Regarding the food, we ordered stir-fry meals P5 and P6 - taste was good, but the food was swimming in liquid, not what you expect from a stir-fry. We have crossed this one off our list. read more

I've always enjoyed eating here even at the other location. The food is always good, owners are great to talk too. On 11-30 went there to eat, like I said the food was great the two hostess as well as the bar tender. When it comes to eating with me it doesn't matter what it cost, as long as it is good, and it was. But the waitress we had was the worst we ever had, a drivethru service at a fast food was ten times better. It seems like we were an inconvenience to her. She wanted to visit with at her friends table than helped us. I told the hostess to tell the server to leave her attitude in the kitchen before coming out. I'm sure she figured out that her tip was only 2% not 20%, I tip the hostess more than her. So my suggestion if you go there, like I said the food is great. I'm in the hospitality business, I believe in giving the best service to your guest, not drama. The hostess should have been helping us. read more

We placed our order and received our appetizer. We waited 35-40 minutes and I asked my server if our food order was placed and she stated the we received our appetizer so it was ordered or we wouldn't have received it. I asked that after I seen 4-5 other tables arrive after us and receive there food. After a period pf time we asked someone else and they actually went in the kitchen to check unlike the last server and came out and told us our food was being cooked. I believe the food order was placed but the kitchen never cooked it since it was out in less than 10 mins from that point. They food was delicious, the service was great until we placed the order but after you place the order it's like you don't exist. This is my favorite restaurant in Springfield hands down. Everything I taste becomes my new favorite! I was addicted to the pad woon sen with tofu forever and then recently tried the Pad Thai. Both dishes are so delicious, as are the curries. Also, a big plus, their steamed rice is deliciously tender and sticky! It is the perfect compliment to their dishes. Give this place a try! Really wanted to give this place a good review. This is my second time giving them a try. The fried vegetarian spring rolls, peanut sauce, and pad thai are super average. And this second time I ordered and paid online and drove from Fair Grove to pick it up. My order was due to be ready at 12:30 and at about that time (already there at the location) I get a call telling me they have cancelled my order for some reason that I still do not understand. The gentleman doing curbside pick up says he can put my order in again and that it'll be maybe 20 minutes. This was around 12:30. I didn't get my meal until after 1:00.
